A River of Tears

A river of tears is not always negative. A river of tears means that your body is healing from pain. A river of tears itself consists of the water that is flushed from the eyes itself. Our tear ducts that are located right above the eye sockets itself. Debris that is flushed out of our eyes themselves helps us to see things clearly. The brain itself also sends messages to the other parts of the body to let organs, cells, as well as intricate body parts to let us know that it is time to relax. The brain also sends messages to the rest of the body to adjust after extended periods and demands that we place on ourselves.
This pertains to stress that we had put ourselves through based on the demands that we have to deal with. This demand consists of physical, mental, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and holistic demands that we absorb in our lives. No matter what the world thinks of me, it is my time that I am spending with God each day. It does not matter what you are doing each day, take a break and allow God or a power that is greater than yourself to talk with you. As a man there is nothing wrong with allowing your river of tears to flow. A river of tears is not a sign of weakness. It is a time to allow yourself to heal. No matter what others think of you, there is not anything wrong with allowing your river of tears in public. Preferably, it is best to go directly inside of your own secret closet and allowing yourself to heal. Healing really feels good.

At least one thing, you will feel much better as soon as it is all over. My river of tears is a replacement for medication. For example, a river of tears is a whole lot better than taking medication for pain. It is also a replacement for recreation drugs and alcohol. My prescription for pain right now is my river of tears. It is a time for healing and a time for an entire body repair. Remember one thing, only God can judge me. Mankind itself can only form an opinion and make direct observations. This does not mean that the opinions of others are not honored. I do honor opinions of others and respect those who make them.

When it pertains to a river of tears, this means that I am a person who has survived a great deal in my entire personal life. Through the choices that I have made, whether they have been good or bad, I have made these choices and I am living with the consequences and repercussions from these choices. It is like Karma; what goes around comes around. This is a universal band of energy that deals with aspects of human behavior. Our cycle of life has not only cyclical in nature, but it also pertains to life and how we make the best of that life that we have for ourselves. A river of tears is not always a bad thing after all. It is a personal time for healing and it makes you feel better in the long run.

I am sorry for sharing about this experience but there is not anything wrong with a man sharing his sensitive side anyway. My river of tears is an expression of my sensitive side when it pertains to the opposite sex. My tear that comes directly out of my eyes does not mean that I am a weak individual. This is a time for healing and disclosing whatever is bothering me from the inside out.

This does not mean that I am bearing and storing baggage. It is best to release it in positive ways. This means that I am being proactive in all of my actions by demonstrating positive ways of dealing with pain. For example, taking a nice walk, and being able to actively participate in sports is a way of making sure that you are releasing stress in constructive ways. There are alternatives that are highly constructive. These alternatives are quite nice. For instance, attending church and religious services is a great way of releasing all of the burdens that are inside of our lives. Taking all of your concerns to God inside of his house makes you feel better from the inside out. This replace going to the store or inside of a neighborhood and dealing with the temptations of society itself. I know that I am okay each and every single day with sharing and revealing my river of tears. Thank you for reading the river of tears. Word History

Etymology

Verb (1)

Middle English hacken, hakken, going back to Old English *haccian (Class II weak verb, attested in the prefixed forms ahaccian “to hack out, peck out [eyes],” tohaccian “to hack to pieces”), going back to West Germanic *hakkō- (whence also Old Frisian tohakia “to hack to pieces,” Middle Dutch hacken, haken “to cut with repeated blows,” Middle High German hacken), of uncertain origin

Note: This West Germanic verb is conventionally connected to the etymon of hook entry 1, which is manifested in a variety of vowel grades, on the assumption that hacking or chopping might be done with a hook-shaped implement.

Noun (1)

Middle English hak, hacke, noun derivative of hacken “to hack entry 1“

Noun (2)

Adjective

Verb (2)

verbal derivative of hack entry 3

Verb (3)

verbal derivative of hack, noun, “board on which a hawk’s food is placed, state of partial liberty under which a hawk is kept before training,” of uncertain origin

Note: The noun has been taken as a derivative of hack entry 1, on the assumption that “hacked,” i.e. chopped, food was placed on such a board; this appears to gain credence from a passage in a fifteenth-century manual of falconry (British Library MS. Harley 2340): “se hym euer to hackynge … and till he flyethe fro tre to tre, he woll come to hackynge; then he woll not come, but thu moste hacke and leue his mete opon a borde in his neste” (see A.E.H. Swaen, “The booke of Hawkyng after prince Edwarde Kyng of Englande and its relation to the Book of St Albans,” Studia Neophilogica, vol. 16 [1943], p. 26).

Microvascular Ischemic Disease

Medically reviewed by Gerhard Whitworth, R.N. — Written by Stephanie Watson — Updated on May 9, 2023

Microvascular ischemic disease is a term that’s used to describe changes to the small blood vessels in the brain. Changes to these vessels can damage white matter, the brain tissue that contains nerve fibers and serves as the connection point to other parts of the brain.

Small vessel ischemic disease is very common in older adults. If left untreated, it can contribute to mental decline, strokes, walking and balance problems, and dementia.

Microvascular ischemic disease is also called:

  • small vessel ischemic disease
  • cerebral small vessel disease

Symptoms

Microvascular ischemic disease can be mild, moderate, or severe.

Many older adults — especially those with a mild form of the disease — have no symptoms, even though there are areas of damage in the brain. This is called “silent” disease. In one study, up to 20 percentTrusted Source of healthy elderly people had silent damage in their brain, most of which was caused by small vessel disease.

Even though you might not notice any symptoms, you may have subtle changes in your thinking and physical abilities.

More severe small vessel disease can cause symptoms like these:

  • loss of thinking skills (cognitive impairment)
  • problems with walking and balance
  • depression

If small vessel disease causes a stroke, symptoms can include:

  • numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body
  • sudden confusion
  • trouble speaking or understanding
  • vision loss in one or both eyes
  • dizziness
  • loss of balance or coordination
  • sudden, severe headache

A stroke is a medical emergency that needs to be treated right away.

Causes and risk factors

The cause of microvascular ischemic disease isn’t completely understood. It can be the result of plaque buildup and hardening (atherosclerosis) that damages the small blood vessels nourishing the brain. This is the same process that narrows and damages blood vessels to the heart and can lead to heart attacks.

Damage can block blood flow through the blood vessels in the brain, depriving brain cells (neurons) of oxygen. Or, it can cause blood vessels in the brain to leak and bleed, which can damage neighboring neurons.

Risk factors for microvascular ischemic disease include:

How is it diagnosed?

If you’re concerned about your risks for microvascular ischemic disease, or you’ve had symptoms, see your doctor. The main test used to diagnose this condition is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

An MRI uses strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed pictures of your brain. Microvascular ischemic disease can appear on an MRI in a few different ways:

  • small strokes (lacunar infarcts)
  • white matter lesions that show up as bright spots on the scan (white matter hyperintensities)
  • bleeding from small blood vessels in the brain (cerebral microbleeds)

Treatment options

Treatment generally involves managing the risk factors that contribute to small blood vessel damage in the brain. Which treatment strategy your doctor recommends will depend on your specific risk factors, but it might include:

  • Lowering your blood pressure with diet, exercise, weight loss, and medication. The goal for people age 60 and over is a systolic blood pressure (the top number) below 150.
  • Lowering your cholesterol level with diet, exercise, and statin drugs if needed.
  • Taking B vitamins to lower homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is an amino acid that at high levels has been linked to atherosclerosis and blood clots.
  • Taking aspirin or blood thinning drugs to prevent strokes.
  • Quitting smoking.

Prevention tips

Follow these tips to protect the small blood vessels in your brain and prevent a stroke:

  • If you’re overweight, work with your doctor and a dietitian to bring your weight into a healthy range.
  • Follow a healthy diet plan, like the Mediterranean or DASH diet, which are high in nutrition and low in saturated fat, sugar, and sodium.
  • If you smoke, choose a quit-smoking method that works for you. You might try counseling, nicotine replacement products, or medications that reduce your urge to smoke.
  • Know your blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. If they are out of range, work with your doctor to control them.
  • Exercise for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week.
  • Limit or avoid alcohol.

Ask your doctor what other preventive steps you should take based on your personal risk factors.

Outlook

Ischemic small-vessel disease can be very serious, leading to stroke, dementia, and death if it isn’t treated. It causes about 45 percent of dementia cases and 20 percent of strokes.

The best way to avoid these complications is to prevent small blood vessel damage in the first place. Follow a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and take the medication your doctor recommends to control your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Do you believe in karma?

Do you believe in karma?

Do you believe in karma 🤔? It really depends on the situation because just it like it says in Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived; God is not mocked.  Whatever a man sows, he shall also reap. The difference is that what goes around goes around.

Karma is not taught in the Bible, as it is an Eastern religious concept tied to reincarnation, but Scripture does contain a related principle of cause and effect called “sowing and reaping”. [1, 2]

What is Karma?

  • Definition: Karma is a belief from Hinduism and Buddhism where a person’s actions determine their future fate, often through a cycle of rebirth or reincarnation.
  • The Core Idea: You get exactly what you deserve based on a moral scorecard of your deeds. [3, 4, 5, 6]

Why Karma Differs from the Bible

  • No Reincarnation: The Bible teaches that humans live and die once before facing God’s judgment, rather than returning to earth in new bodies. Hebrews 9:27 says, “People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment”. [3, 4]
  • Grace Over Getting What You Deserve: Karma is based on earning your way, while the Bible teaches grace—receiving God’s unmerited love and forgiveness even when we do not deserve it. Ephesians 2:8-9 states that salvation is a gift from God, not earned by good works. You can read more about these differences on Bible.org. [3, 6, 7]

The Biblical Concept: Sowing and Reaping

  • Cause and Effect: The Bible uses farming as a metaphor for human behavior. Galatians 6:7 says, “A man reaps what he sows”. [8]
  • Moral Choices: If a person chooses a lifestyle of sin or harm, they will harvest negative consequences in their life. If they live to please God, they reap spiritual blessings and eternal life. [7, 8, 9]
  • Not an Impersonal Force: Unlike karma, which operates as an automatic, impersonal cosmic law, the biblical harvest happens under the supervision of a personal God who also offers mercy, redemption, and forgiveness to change a person’s outcome. [1, 2, 9]

Would you like to explore specific Bible verses about sowing and reaping, or do you want to compare grace versus works further?
