You are absolutely right about everyone moving out of Dayton Ohio. My family members are moving out of here as we speak. My cousin moved out of here last month; according to the family. She moved out of Dayton Ohio for personal reasons. I have continue to live here until 2029 and I am out of here myself.
Next, I want you to know that I have been clean and sober for 36 years now. I am working on the 12 steps of recovery for the rest of my life. I do have over 50 pages of homework to turn in by Monday of next week. Frankly I really have to avoid taking too much psychotropic medications and blood pressure medication because it is hindering my progress.
Moreover, I want to inform you that AA has saved my life in so many ways that I cannot count how many times I have been restored back to sanity. According to Step 2 in AA it is when we are in contact with God or a power that is greater than ourselves that restore or return us back to sanity. Step 🪜 3 is when we make a conscious decision to turn our will back to God who is responsible for turning our way back to God who returns our way back to normal.
In Addition, Step 🪜 4 is when we are making a fearless and moral inventory of ourselves. This is when we take out the garbage of our personal lives that doesn’t belong in our lives anyway. This is when we continue to completely work on ourselves and eliminate all of our defects of character. How we do this step is by working with an AA sponsor who has common sense and knows how to work the 12 steps of recovery each day of our lives. This means that we have to officially give up the high cost of low living in our daily lives.
Also, I have to converse with someone who has common sense about living a complete moral life. I have to start attending AA meetings on a daily basis. I have to completely stay away from old playgrounds and playmates from my treacherous past. My parents and grandparents always told me to choose my battles wisely. Avoid confrontation by all means!!! This means that I have to continue to pray for those who despise me and literally stay away from my troubled past. My family members are my biggest obstacle in my life right now. Step 🪜 5 is when we admit to God to ourselves and another human being; the exact nature of our wrongs. This means that we have to talk about why we are the way we are as human beings. This means that we must reveal our true character to God and ourselves and another human being: just to set the record straight with everyone. Why do we do the things that we do all of the time.
Step 🪜 6 Is when we ask God to remove our defects of character. This is not very easy because it is a change that God and I must make for ourselves. This means that it is time to take out the garbage of our lives. This is an opportunity to work one on one with God. Remember that this is an opportunity to clean up the daily wreckage of our lives. This is my opportunity to work with my AA sponsor and keep it real with myself.
Step 🪜 7 Humbly ask Him to remove our shortcomings. This is a very serious thing to completely work with God for every aspect of our lives to change. God knows me more than I know myself. God knows exactly what I need more than anyone else and myself.
