If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be?  I would go back to 1979 through 1983.  This is the time when I started to rebel against my parents, and I started skipping school simply because I wanted to do what my friends were doing in Dayton, Ohio.  

 Therefore, I would tell my younger self to go back to school and stop drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana because my actual friends graduated from high school three years earlier, and I really felt bad.  During the year 1983, I should have stayed in Dayton Ohio instead of going to Job Corps in Grand Rapids Michigan because I did the same thing up there by skipping my classes and I continued to drink alcohol as well as smoking marijuana throughout the entire time that I was at the Grand Rapids Michigan Job Corps Center for four months.

 I would tell my younger self to go to drug and alcohol treatment just to get clean and sober from alcohol and other drugs.  I would also tell my younger self to stay in school and start attending church just like my grandparents were doing throughout their lives. During the year 1988 through 1990, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and I only stayed in boot camp for only a month and a half in Parris Island South Carolina instead of staying in college.   

This was during the time that I lost my job working at the YMCA, and I also got evicted out of my apartment foolishly.  1989, I got involved in a relationship with an older woman, and she took advantage of me by cheating on me with another man.  I got evicted out of my apartment again because we did not pay the bills for 9 months because I had given her all of my money just to satisfy her drug habits.  

I would have told my younger self to kick that woman out of my apartment because she had used me for 9 months.  Instead, I went to drug and alcohol treatment for 90 days, and I ended up leaving Dayton, Ohio, for almost six years from 1990 to 1996.  I was living in Toledo, Ohio, and I finally graduated from college twice by earning good grades while I was attending the University of Toledo located in Toledo, Ohio, from 1991 through 1996. 

 I will admit that I was living inside of gang infested neighborhoods, and my house got burned down.  Even though I graduated from college, I had to find another place to live.  I was living with my best friends family for my last two years of college.  My friends’ family members were very nice to me.  I cried when I left Toledo Ohio because I had to leave and move back with my family members in Dayton, Ohio, for only one year.  I would have told my younger self to get my own apartment in the Toledo Ohio Area instead of moving back to Dayton, Ohio.  

From 1997 to the present; I ended up leaving Dayton, Ohio, and staying in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a total of 12 years.  I will admit that I got evicted out of my apartment down there 6 times.   I got scammed out of $16,977 dollars in Western Union funds by a group of African people who were computer hackers and scammers for a total of 3 years.  Also, during that time, I was working part-time at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte J Murray Adkins Library from 2001 through 2009. 

 After 8 years of employment, I was fired from my job for conduct that was detrimental to myself and other people. I ended up spending time inside of lock up because I was making mistakes behaviorally.  I would have told my younger self to stop sending money to people that I didn’t know personally because they had taken advantage of me.  Currently I am living inside of an assisted living facility in Dayton Ohio because I have a lot of health problems as well as I got evicted out of my apartment for fist fighting another resident after living at Wentworth HiRise Apartments located in Dayton Ohio for 14 years. 

 This is my life story from 1979 to the present because I was constantly making a fool out of myself.  At least I can officially say that I had graduated from high school three years late simply because I was a juvenile delinquent.  I also graduated twice from the University of Toledo located in Toledo, Ohio, from 1991 through 1996. I also wrote three books within a 23-year period.
