The Holy Bible

This is a book that we all have inside of our households. This book has taken 1600 years to write. The gospels are not a diary of Jesus Christ’s life. The Bible is an inspired word of God. Can we trust the Holy Bible? The answer is yes!! The Bible is a collection of 66 books that come from people who lived in the past and are inspired by God. The Bible is filled with laws and rules. It is the centerpiece of faith. In Romans 1:20, indicates that; for since the creation of the world; His invisible attributes are clearly seen. Being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead. Everything inside of the living word is without excuse.

Another important question to ask is are we ready and willing to study God’s word? In 1st Corinthians 3:1-2 truthfully says; and I brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Jesus Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food. For until now, you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able. The Bible is supposed to be taken in and studied carefully. We are supposed to be students of God’s word. This is a critical time to get to know God.

What the Bible is; it is a critical book that enhances our spiritual growth. A lot of the Bible is descriptive and prescriptive. As we grow, our understanding of this grows. The Bible is useful for rebuking and correcting. It is also useful for training. In 2nd Timothy 3:16 reveals that all scriptures is given by inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

In John 1:1; In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The Bible is the living word, and it is critical to our faith journey. In John 6:68-69 mentions that Simon Peter answered Him “Lord to whom shall we go?” You have the words of eternal life. Also, we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

The Bible points to the living word contained in Jesus Christ. We need to see each other through the lenses of Christ. We are called to God’s living word and written word. The Bible is true in all that it asserts. A famous quote by John Wesley states that I want my people to be a people of one book.

The Holy Bible has saved my life in many ways. It talks about any subject and it also has biblical verses that back it up. The Bible itself is a living word. It has everything inside of it that pertains to real life. My favorite book inside of the Bible is the book of Proverbs. This is the book of wisdom. Wisdom and knowledge comes from God. It might have taken 1600 years to make the Bible but it saves lives. I also receive information from Christians in Recovery.
