What does it mean to be a God Fearing Man?
First, I want to say Thank You Lord! For allowing to wake up to breathe your breath of life, utilize my 5 senses, and to move my arms and legs. Dear Lord, I would like to say thank you for allowing me to come to terms with my family members and friends. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Second, what does it mean to be a God Fearing Man? It really feels good from the inside out. Even though I am a work in process, however, I am a man who has a lot of common sense. I know that I am a man, who has to still resolve a lot of active issues with my own family members. I have to stop taking too much medication. I have to stop sleeping entirely too much during the day. I am a God Fearing Man because I am a man who knows how to do the things that are appropriate for Him.
Third, I want to let all of you know that I am a man who is very nice, kind, gifted, intelligent, pleasant to be around, and eager to help other people. I know that I still have faults. I know that I have needs, wants, and desires. I am praying a whole lot more, and I am reading the Bible each day of the week. I want to inform all of you that I might feel very weak and feeble, but I am not going to give up in life. I will admit that I still feel weak and tired all of the time. I know that; there are times when I am too tired and weary. I will learn how to be the person that God wants me to be.
Fourth, I am a man who has come a very long way in my personal life. I have learned how to pray and do the things that God wants me to do. God wants me to be a man who is eager to succeed. I know that God has plans for me. According to Jeremiah 29:11, God knows the thoughts that He has towards me, plans to succeed and plans to life for Him. I know that God has changed me from a man who used to be an alcoholic. I used to be a person who used to welsh on my payments when it comes to paying my bills. I used to use vulgarity all of the time. I also used to get drunk and talk to myself. God is a very good God.
Fifth, I am a man who is college educated. I love the University of Toledo so much that I wish that I could earn my Master’s degree in Social Work. I want to inform everyone that I am a person who always reflect on the needs of the Lord. I do not have a wife anymore. I do not have a female companion. I am a person who loves living in Charlotte, NC. I love working at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte J. Murray Atkins Library. I miss living in Charlotte, NC because it is a very progressive city.
Sixth, I am a man who loves the Lord. I will admit that I have character defects that I would like for the Lord to resolve for me. I am guilty of being a man who have done things that are really bad in my life. For instance, I slept inside of a bowl of chili because I was drunk. I have done things that are really bad. I graduated from high school three years late. I went to Job Corps and messed up. I got my nose broke by a Caucasian male. This took place on September 18, 1983. It was an accident. I got into the way of a young man who was swinging wild, and I did not know that my nose was broken until I started bleeding. I was furious just as much as that young man.
Seventh, I want to inform all of you that I slept inside of a garbage can, when I was a 12 year old boy. This is because I was afraid of going inside of my mother’s house. This occurred on April of 1977. I had to survive as well. My mother, grandmothers, grandfathers, and aunt taught me how to survive. My caretakers taught me how to survive in the streets of Dayton, Ohio. My family members love me as a human being. I just did not love myself. I did not love myself because I was doing things that are of the world. Romans 12:2 says do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The world itself will not be here, God’s Word will remain.
Finally, I want to inform all of you that God has something for me. The world has something for me as well. The world does not care for me like God does. I know this because I have lived long enough to know that God will take care of me. The world is changing very rapidly. I am a man who is 52 years old and I have a lot of common sense. I am warm, kind, brilliant, and very wise. I am a God fearing person because God first loved me.
Faithfully Submitted,
