Matthew 10:36 From My Own Point of View.

Matthew 10:36 From My Own Point of View: By Anthony Joseph Hopkins May 4, 2022

Good Evening Everyone!!  How are you doing tonight?  Fine, I hope.  Matthew 10:36 says; A man’s enemies will be those of his own household.  This is the truth because it is the people, who we are familiar with that knows us very well that the Bible verse is talking about.

I will admit; my family members are not speaking to each other right now.  The reason why is because of our past with each other.  My siblings, who are younger than me.  They think that I cannot beat them anymore because we have reached adulthood.  My younger brother stated to me that he can beat me up right now.  I understand that the Institution of Family has been dysfunctional for a very long time.

Next, there were incidents inside of the Bible that family members have killed each other.  For example, Cain killed his own brother Abel because God favored Abel over his brother Cain; particularly when it came to an offering to God.  I want to inform you that Cain killed his own brother because he was jealous and mad because God accepted Abel’s offering over his own.

Further, I remember inside of my own family, my brothers and I used to fist fight each other because my younger brothers used to steal from me.  During the 1980s and 1990s, I taught my siblings how to hustle for money for themselves.  I know that my younger brothers used to imitate my behavior.  Another example is when my brothers used to wait until I got drunk from alcohol just to steal from me.  They waited until I was sleep and took all of my money.

Moreover, I want to inform all of you that one of my brothers used to steal from me all of the time.  I remember catching him in the act, and I literally beat him up because he attempted to take my money.  I remember donating my own plasma for money.  I used to donate plasma and give it to the dope-man because I was an addict.  I remember on a particular day November 25, 1985, my brother was shooting dice with his own father.  His name sake!!  They were gambling for money, and my brother cheated his own father out of money.  Suddenly, his father drew a hook knife on his own son.

In Addition, I want to inform you that I got stabbed on my forearm because his father tried to kill him over his money.  I know that I am not supposed to bring this up, but this is a prime example of the violence that occurred in my own family.  Anyway, I got stabbed and I had to go to the hospital because I almost bled to death.  My brother also robbed his own father when he used to get drunk.  This is an example of the violence that occurred in my own family.

Finally, I called the police on my brother’s father, but I also told the police that he was too old to go to Jail.  I had forgiven him for stabbing me with a hook knife.  I had to forgive my own mother for an act of fraud that she had committed against me when I was a child.  My siblings and I do not speak to each other because they constantly keep bringing up my past against me.  My siblings did not forgive me for the things that they had done to hurt me.  I had to be the bigger person and forgive them for even hurting me personally.  This is an example of the things that I am dealing with inside of my own family.  God Bless All of You!!

How Do We Teach Our Children How to Obey God?

How Do We Teach Our Children How to Obey God?

This is an essay that ask a very important question.  How do we teach our children how to obey God?  According to Deuteronomy 6:7 says: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  This means our primary emphasis is to teach our children how to love the Lord God.

This also means that we are supposed to love the Lord with all of thy heart, soul, mind, and strength.  When it comes to teaching our children about the Bible, they learn by watching their parents.  If the parents are reading the Bible to their children, teaching their children how to pray, and taking them to church all of the time, and conducting themselves like a true Christian, then a child will never forget about the Lord.  According to proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he gets old, he will not depart from it.

I remember when I was growing up in the Dayton, Ohio Area from 1970-1990.  I attended church with my grandmothers on a regular basis.  My Great Grandmother indicated that she was taking me to church, so that I can grow up and be a real man.  She read the Bible to me on a regular basis.  I attended Bethel Church of God in Christ in Dayton, Ohio.  My Great Grandmother stated to me that she was raising me because my mother suffered from postpartum depression.  This is a mental illness that affects pregnant mothers worldwide.  My mother decided to take me to my Grandmother’s house and I had a lot of fun.

At first, I did not understand what was going on with my mother at that time.  I went through a lot of changes myself because on May 30, 1972, I went to live with my mother and afterwards, I started drinking and smoking marijuana at the age of 7 years old.  However, I was born with alcohol inside of my bloodstream because my mother was drinking alcohol during that time.  My mother was also responsible for taking me to church on a regular basis herself.  One mistake that my mother made was trying to change my name.  My birth name is Anthony Joseph Hopkins.  She changed my name because she was married to a man that was not my own biological father.

I had to make changes to my own school records because I told my school counselor that the name that I was using Anthony Joseph Russell was not my real name.  I officially changed my name because it did not make sense what my mother had done to me as a person.  My own mother tried to alter my identity.  I have forgiven my mother for what she had done to me.

I will admit that I felt ashamed about having that name.  I used to examine my birth certificate and social security card and say to myself, why did Mom do this to me?

I have read the Bible over and over for the past 40 years.  I have always wondered why all of the bad things happened to me as a person.  My own stepfather stabbed me when I was a senior in high school.  I had to protect my own little brother on November 25, 1985.  If I didn’t put my arm in the way shielding my little brother, he would have been dead.  Therefore, I got stabbed with a hook knife.  To be perfectly honest, I almost bled to death from my injuries.

I will admit that there are things that I had done to my own mother and stepfather when I was much younger.  Like they say in Ephesians 6:1, Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  There are times when I was a child that I even resented my own stepfather.  I even got into a fist fight with him immediately after he stabbed me with the hook knife that he had in his possession at the time.  There are times when I have actual flashbacks from the things that I had to endure in my personal life.

Finally, I am very sorry for mentioning all of this, but I have to tell the truth.  My name is Anthony Joseph Hopkins, and I am a 56-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio.  I used to live in Charlotte, NC for 12 and a half years.  I have been incarcerated a total of 26 times within the past 21 years.  I graduated from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio on June 12, 1993 and June 17, 1995 respectively.  There are times when I meditate about the past and there are times when my own family members argue with me about the past.  God loves me and this is all that matters to me right now.  I have come a very long way in my personal life.

What Does It Mean To Feel Out of Place?

What does it mean to feel out of place?

I have a very important to ask everyone.  Have any of you ever felt out of place during your life?  I have because I went to an AA Meeting a couple of weeks ago, and everyone felt appreciative and understanding.  I was very happy during the AA Big Book Study.  Whereas, two hours later, I went to an NA Meeting and no one did not speak to me and show me love whatsoever.  I really felt out of place because not too many people from AA, which is Alcoholics Anonymous attend NA Meetings.

Narcotics Anonymous is a very great Fellowship.  It is that, my AA Sponsor does not want me attending those type of meetings.  I do not understand why he would tell me not to attend NA Meetings in the first place.  I can identify with both support groups.  I will have to get another Sponsor because I really think he gave me some bad advice.  I understand that I have an addiction.  I am a grateful recovering alcoholic and addict.  I have been clean and sober for 27 years.

I want to inform everyone that I have been clean and sober since Wednesday May 2, 1990.  I really feel out of place because of attending a meeting that does not coincide with my personal beliefs.  Frankly, it is not my personal beliefs that I have to deal with, I have been coerced or easily influenced to listen to others.  There are sponsors who give bad advice.  I really feel that my sponsor gave me some bad advice when he should have examined the principles and traditions of NA, and compare it to AA.  In my case, I have to read information from both Fellowships in order to understand things.  Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.  Job 33:14 says for God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night.  When deep sleep falls upon men. Then He opens the ears of men and seals their instructions.

I have to remain prayerful and truthful at all times.  I know that I am in need of a new AA sponsor.  My old AA sponsor and I parted ways with each other over 3 months ago.  This is because he mentioned to me that I should not attend NA meetings.  I have not attended an NA meeting ever since.  I know that all of this sounds like a drama or a soap opera. I know that I am also dealing with issues other than AA, but I am hopeful for the present as well as the future.  I am a very nice person.

I am a person who learns from everyone.  I know that my behavior has not been the best as of late.  However, I am an analytical person.  I am a person who loves to study.  I am, a person who tells the truth at all times.  I do not have anything to hide from anyone.  I am also a person who is willing to give my last dollar to someone who is in need.  I am a person who has had a great deal of success during the past 30 years.  I have had a lot of success during the time I was working at the University of Toledo for 4 years.  I also has a great deal of success, while working at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  I am a person who loves to read, write, think freely, and study.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Thank you very much!!

Sincerely,

Anthony Hopkins

What is The Definition of The Word Partiality?

What is the Definition of the word Partiality?

By: Anthony Joseph Hopkins April 23, 2022

What is the definition of the word Partiality?  The word Partiality means favoritism or choosing sides.  Partiality is the habit of favoring something — taking its part. … Partiality is like bias. It means that your favorite person, type of food, or way of operating tends to get priority when you’re making up your mind.  God does not show partiality because

It is a sin.

One thing that I can say about myself is that I do not show favoritism.  God does not do it, and so do I.  I want to inform all of you that when someone shows favoritism, you are committing a sin.  You will be deemed as a transgressor.

I also noticed in my family that there are favorite Uncles and Aunts.  I really do not understand why people are showing favorites, or choosing sides when it comes to people, places, and things.  The only thing that I know is that my family members are committing a sin.  When it comes to the word Partiality, it is very serious if any person that I know has committed this offense.

What does the word favoritism mean? Favoritism means to 1: the showing of special favor: partiality. 2: the state or fact of being a favorite.  I know that my nieces and nephews have stated that I was their favorite Uncle in the family.  I try to tell all of my family members that you are committing a sin whenever you have a favorite person.   Frankly, I treat everyone the same.

According to the Bible, God does not show favoritism whatsoever.  I realize that what I was doing is telling my family members and friends the truth.  I understand that God is love.  Favoritism can get someone in trouble with God.  I remember when I was a little boy, I used to have a favorite football team growing up.  However, my team used to lose all of their football games. Currently, I do not have a favorite team whatsoever. I say that I love everything equally.

We Should Not Boast About Tomorrow!!

We Should Not Boast About Tomorrow!!  By Anthony Joseph Hopkins April 22, 2022

Do you think that we should boast about tomorrow?  The answer to this question is no.  The reason why is because tomorrow is not here yet.  This is the reason why we should take our time because tomorrow is distant.

Boasting about tomorrow is a sin in itself because it is not promised to any of us.  I want you to know that we cannot pre plan anything anyway.  This is simply because it is not promised to us.  Instead of saying we shall do this or that tomorrow: We will go and do such and such a thing.  For your life itself is a vapor that appears for a little while.  For what is your life anyway.  Man is like a breath, and his days are a passing shadow; Psalms 144:4.

Let’s look at the definition of the word tomorrow.  Tomorrow means on the day after today.

A vapor is a cluster or a mist of air that is around for a short period of time.  Eventually it goes away.  That is all life is at this time, it is air or a vapor that lasts for a short period of time.  This is what life it is like.

Do you know that in the Bible, a thousand years is one day?  A thousand years is like a day.  2nd Peter 3:8 says a thousand years is like one day and a thousand years is like one day.

When it comes to this topic, it is only a version of time.  Life itself is a piece of history.  History is a study of the human past.  It has a lot to do with our time on earth.

Psalms 139:16 says: Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.  This means that God knows exactly how long we are going to live.  God even knows how long every living thing are going to live.  When it comes to life itself, it has been pre-determined by God Himself.  Job 14:5 says:  Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass.

God knows all things about mankind.  Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass.  This means that God knows us according to the months are with thee.  This means God even knows us according to our months, days, hours, steps, and boundaries that mankind cannot pass. God even count our steps that we take each day.

What Does It Mean to Have Things in Order?

What does it mean to Do Things in Order?

Good Day Everyone!! I would like to start this essay off by asking one question.  What does it mean to do things in order? First, let’s obtain the definition of the word order.  The definition of the word order is the sequence of words in a sentence, especially as governed by grammatical rules and as affecting meaning.  Another definition of the word order has a lot to do with setting boundaries and limits when it comes to behavior.

Next, I want to add that order when it comes to the Bible has a lot to do with obeying God’s word.  I know that when a child is growing up, they learn how to do certain things from being around their parents.  For example, a child is supposed to listen to their parents, and others that are involved in their life.  As long as the guidance is conducted in a positive manner. When it comes to following God’s word, it is imperative for all of us as human beings to listen and obey God in the same way we did our earthly parents.

Moreover, I want to inform everyone that I am a Born Again Christian Man who adheres to God’s Holy word.  I will admit that I am not perfect.  I will say that I am a follower and a doer of the word of God.  Some might judge me and say that I am a borderline Christian.  I do not view myself as being inadequate in any way.  It is that I will admit that I have allowed myself to fall for the foolishness of this world.

In Addition, I would like to apologize to everyone for the things that I have been doing that were distasteful to God Himself.  Like they say, only God can judge me.  Mankind only have an opinion about me as a person.  God has the final word.  I would like to say that I am a very good person who has a lot of common sense.  I also want to mention that it is our job to do the Great Commission.  I will say this that I still need help and prayer along in my journey to serve the Lord and spread the latter rains to everyone that I come in contact with each day of my life.

Finally, I want to mention to everyone that our bodies belong to God.  Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; that is inside of me right now.  Therefore, I am me and I am okay with myself today because I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I have been clean and sober from alcohol and drugs for the past 31 years.  My sobriety date is May 2, 1990.  I take my recovery and life very seriously.  I love all of you very much as people.  I love all of you in the same way that Jesus Christ loves everyone.  I will say that I am a human being and a Child of God first and foremost.

In Conclusion, I want to say that the poem that I have on the next page pertains to all people.  It is called the I am Me Poem.  When it comes to maintaining order for God, I take that very seriously.  Order to me gives me an opportunity to get things right before I leave earth.  I know that I have had a lot of things to do in order to change for the better.  I am very happy to have Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

Leviticus 19th Chapter and the Meaning of Things.

Leviticus 19th Chapter by Anthony Joseph Hopkins April 12, 2022

Leviticus 19

King James Version

19 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.

6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to a husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.

22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal.

25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God.

26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.

29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord.

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the Lord.

I am going to focus on a Bible verse from Leviticus 19th Chapter.  Ye shall keep my Sabbath, and reverence my sanctuary, I am the Lord.  The Lord God wants us to keep His sabbath and keep it holy.  There are so many Bible verses from the book of Leviticus that I can talk about.  I am doing my very best to pay my tithes and offerings to the church.

I read my Bible every single day of the week.  I know that I have only Him to depend on right now.  I want to inform all of you that I do not get any tattoos on my body because in Leviticus 19:28 says: Ye shall not make any marks or cutting on your body for the dead, nor have any marks on you.  I am the Lord.  I have marks on my body from getting injured in street fights from the 1970s and 1980s.

Next, I want to inform all of you that I am not supposed to consult with mediums or psychics as well as persons who has a familiar spirit.  We are not supposed to consult with wizards as well.  This is in Leviticus 19:31: I want to inform all of you that I used to consult with mediums and psychics on a daily basis.  I do apologize and say that I am very sorry for consulting with these people; just to get defiled by them.

Further, I want to inform all of you that I used to consult with people who have a familiar spirit.  What is the definition of a familiar spirit?  A familiar spirit is a demon supposedly attending and obeying a witch, often said to assume the form of an animal.  A close friend or an associate.  This is the definition of a familiar spirit.  What is the definition of the word defiled?  Defile means to desecrate or profane (something sacred). Defile also means to sully, mar, or spoil.  Defilement is a very serious thing because it affects a person as well as those who they are associated with.

Finally, I am placing emphasis on this subject because there are a lot of mediums who work for California Psychics and other places.  They charge you $1.00 per minute to consult with you for a minimum of 20 minutes for $20.00.  This is a fact because there are people, who are being trained by a medium or psychic every single day of the week.

I will admit that I consulted with a psychic with California Psychics in the past.  I want to inform all of you that a medium or psychic charge $60.00 per 30-minute session.  There are not telling the truth when they are talking to you.  They keep saying that my spirit is saying all of the time.  You have to lookout for repetition in their speech.  This is a giveaway.  Please read this information because it is happening in front of our eyes right now.  Please be very careful of those who have familiar spirits.

Luke 6:27-28: And What it Means to All People.

Luke 6:27-28; And What it means to all People? By Anthony Hopkins April 11, 2022.

Luke 6:27-28 Is very hard to do for some people.  Society itself has changed during the past 40 years.  I remember when I was a little boy, my grandparents did not want me fighting anyone.  My grandparents wanted me to heed the words that are inside of the Bible.  My mother did not like it when I used to let other boys beat me up all of the time.

Jesus is teaching in Luke 6:27-28 says: But to you who are listening I say Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, and bless those who mistreat you.  In Luke’s account of the Scriptures is different than in Matthew, Mark, and John.  I want to be honest that this is going to take practice because people are not heeding God’s Word.  These particular Bible Verses reminds me of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7.  Matthews account is much easier to grasp than in Luke.  I want to say that things have changed dramatically during the past 40 years.

I am willing to allow someone to smack me on my face.  I want to inform all of you that people are no longer using their hands to fight with.  They have resorted to using guns and knives to defend themselves right now.

Luke 6:27-40

King James Version

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be.

I want to inform all of you that this is going to take a lot of practice and this means that I will have to modify my behavior just to appease another person.  I would rather stay away from people who are violent.  It makes me angry to see other people oppressed like it is in Ukraine.  Russia is killing their own people.  Those people are not bothering Russia.  However, they are fighting back with the same weapons that Russia is using.  Russia is retreating because they have been defeated by their fellow Ukrainians.  In the United States, violence happens every 3 seconds.  I know in the United States, we fought people from the Middle East for over 20 years.  Whereas, people have been killing each other over senseless things.

Is It True that People know us just like God? Is this true?

Is It True That God Knows More about us than we know about Him?

Is It True that God knows more about us than we know about Him?  The reason why I am asking this question is because I got into an argument with a close friend because she stated that she knew me more than God and my own mother.  I really do not understand why she stated it in the first place.  I know that according to Isaiah 55:10; it says that our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts.

Next, I did not mean to make my friend mad at me, but she does not know me in the same way that God knows me.  I had to apologize to her because I explained to her that God’s ways and thoughts are not our thoughts.  I only want to ask this question because it is impossible for a human being to know us like God.  I am only saying that God sees the heart.

I want to say that human behavior is learned.  I know that all behaviors are learned and imitated.  I am a person who understands the Holy Bible.  I try my best to abide by the Bible.  I want to ask this question because people do not know us in the same way that God knows us.  Is this true that a human being knows me more than God?  Please help me to clarify this matter.

Are We Being Judged According to Our Works by God?

Are we being judged by our works?

What is the definition of the word works?  Works are activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.  Works also are a task or tasks to be undertaken; something a person or thing has to do.  For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

What Does the Bible say about works? Therefore, when we work, we resemble Him. In addition, work is not God’s way of punishing us. In fact, He blesses us with the ability to work so that we can honor Him. Colossians 3:22 says, “You who are servants who are owned by someone, obey your owners.

Are we being judged by our works by God?

Next, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”  If I am doing something that pleases God, then I am doing works.  Works are physical and mental efforts that applies to our daily lives.

According to evangelical Baptist theology, good works are the consequence of salvation and not its justification. They are the sign of a sincere and grateful faith. They include actions for the Great Commission, that is, evangelism, service in the Church and charity.

Further, I want to inform all of you that God is watching us every single day of our lives.  Do you know that every idle word that we say would either justify or condemn us?

This is according to Matthew 12:36. This is the reason why I try my very best to perform tasks that are pleasing to God.  I know that I am not perfect, but I try my very best to do good things that would benefit mankind.  For instance, I planted a garden for the Merry Oaks Community in Charlotte, NC.  I planted watermelon and cantaloupe inside of my front yard.

God is watching all of us on a daily basis.  Job 34:21 says: His eyes are on the ways of men; He sees their every step.  This is very serious because we cannot get away with our sins.  This is the reason why I am blessed every single day of the week.  I know that I have done a whole lot for other people in my life.  God is recording and monitoring our progress.

God is doing more for all of us more than we are doing for ourselves.  This is the reason why I feel guilty because I know that God is watching me.  God always want all of us to perform good deeds, while we are living inside of the planet.  Are we being under surveillance by God?  The answer is yes!!  God watches us all of the time.

A GOOD DEED A WEEK:

  • Let your first check of the year be to charity.
  • Help a friend in need.
  • Volunteer for an hour at an organization of your choice.
  • Save electricity by unplugging your devices when not in use.
  • Buy a gift for your mother or grandmother – just because.
  • Allow a fellow driver to merge into your lane.

Finally, I want to say that each and every single day of the week, God wants all of us to perform for Him.  I want to say that I did not know that even if we help other people, we are doing good deeds for God.  This is the reason why I feel good about myself because I help other people with tasks that are very simple.  I love everything that God has created.  God wants all of us to perform the Great Commission on a daily basis.
