Spoofing is a cybercrime where someone or something disguises itself as a trusted source to gain access to personal information, money, or data. Spoofing can take many forms, including:

  • Fake emailsSpoofers may change a letter, symbol, or number in an email address or sender name to make it appear to come from a trusted source. For example, a spoofed email from PayPal or Amazon might ask about purchases you never made.
  • Fake phone callsSpoofers may falsify the information displayed on your caller ID to make it appear as if the call is coming from a local number or a trusted company or government agency.
  • Fake websitesSpoofers may create fake websites to trick you into sharing sensitive information.
  • Fake IP addressesSpoofers may set up fake IP addresses, Address Resolution Protocols (ARPs), or Domain Name System (DNS) servers.
  • Geolocation spoofingSpoofers may use technologies like a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or DNS Proxy to make their device appear to be located somewhere other than where it is.

The goal of spoofing is to trick people into sharing sensitive information, money, or credit card details. Spoofers often rely on the trust that people have for certain communications, systems, and networks.

Amos 7:7 Commentary

Please read and share the message entitled, “ The Judge of all the earth, will do exactly what is right,” based on Amos 7:7–“Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.”A Wall made by a plumbline – i.e., a perpendicular wall, the stability of the kingdom being represented by the closely-fitting well-jointed stones of a lofty wall. Right in the heart of this strong-built city, the LORD HIMSELF marks the extent of the desolation, the plumb-line being used in erecting buildings – as well as ‘dismantling them. GOD’S judgments are sometimes represented in scripture by a line and a plummet, to denote that they are measured out by the exactest rules of justice. Thus GOD would bring the people of Israel to the trial and would discover their wickedness; and the time will come, when those who have been spared often, shall be spared no longer. But THE LORD still calls Israel HIS people. Nevertheless, HE will exactly measure (all) of the people of the earth; (both) Jew and Gentile, Christian and Pagan alike. HE will take a particular view of the whole kingdom and notice how far it is right, or how far it is out of order, and will judge and punish according to their sins. Regardless of how we perceive any of these outcomes in finality, one thing stands clear – GOD Controls it all. Despite our clamoring, despite our wants, despite our written concerns and constitutions, despite our elections, or who (we) think we place in office for the betterment of ANY society, or given situation ~ GOD controls it all. Dear readers, please continue to read this enlightening message to gain total information and understanding. Everyone needs to be on the same page as this message so we all understand who is in control—it is GOD—not man, not the devil! AMEN! ❤
