Although these websites are very stimulating to the mind, curiosity, and excitement, there are risk behind it. A person who is online does not really know who they are really talking to. At least on Face Book, a person can chat with their friends as long as their friends recognize them. Anyone can post their pictures, blogs, and make comments online about any subject. On Moco Space and MySpace, anyone who has an account can chat with their friends; send blogs as well as pictures. I have read some very interesting blogs on each non secure website. A secure website such as Twitter, anyone who has an account can send pictures, and make short statements.

Further, there is an age limit on certain non secure websites. The average age of a person is 18. However, there are people who are younger than 18 who open accounts on Moco Space, MySpace, Tagged, Yahoo, Face Book, and Black Planet. Anyone under the age of 18 is definitely putting themselves at risk whenever they open up an account of this magnitude. This is the reason why they have to receive their parent’s permission before opening up an account. There are children who are under the age of 14 who have Moco Space, Yahoo, Face Book, and Black Planet accounts. These are adult only websites. The security goes lacking because there are so many people who have accounts such as Face Book; who has over 1,000,000,000 users.

There are many accounts that hackers and scammers are using to communicate with their online victims. There are millions of fraud cases that are filed each year because of the simple fact that there are too many people online using the website. This is really serious because a child does not need to observe any adult materials. The reason why there are security issues is because the accounts themselves are false. There are accounts that are made online by hackers and they are called clones. This is because some of them are used by computer hackers and scammers as well as data thieves. This is very dangerous because too many people worldwide have a Face Book and this includes all of the stars on Hollywood. There are more non secure websites than secure websites. This is because of a fact that most people are looking for entertainment. It is very important to make sure that you check and examine all of your information very carefully before using your homepage or website.
