First Thessalonians 5:17 says Pray Without Ceasing.  This means that we are supposed to pray without stopping.  This means that God wants to hear my voice.  As of late, I have been reciting the Lord’s prayer and the Serenity prayer.  This is because I have been using vain repetition.  In my prayers, I am trying not to repeat the same thing all of the time.  According to Matthew 6:8 this means that God knows the things we need long before we ask Him.  The Lord God knows our thoughts as well as our ways.
