Can Man Override God’s Authority?

          The answer to this question is yes.  This is by disobedience and not listening to God.  This is very easy for man to do in the first place.  This is because it was done by Adam and Eve by eating from the Garden of Good and Evil.  God told both of them to avoid eating from it in advance.  Man is solely responsible for following God’s orders and commands.  In order for man to survive on earth for a duration of 70 years or longer, Man must listen and pay attention to God. O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walked to direct his steps Jeremiah 10:23.

          Next, man has a free will as well as a choice, when it comes to listening to God.  When it comes to listening to God, a man must be willing to listen to God for the rest of his life.  In order for mankind to heed the message of God, it takes an open mind and the willingness to listen to the Lord’s Precepts.  In my personal life, I have made a whole lot of personal mistakes.  I have sinned and done so much wrong that I do not have a choice but to listen to God. Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?  Proverbs 20:24

          When it comes to the brain induced effects on the Holy Spirit, it is caused by injury or alcohol and drug abuse.  There are other diseases that would hinder us from hearing our Spirit.  The Holy Spirit itself is a part of the Trinity.  God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is intact, especially when it comes to some people.  However, the Spirit itself is derived from God.  I know that when it comes to myself, I am a work in progress.  I am a person who has come a very long way in my personal life. 

I have managed to make changes in my life by attending AA Meetings, graduating from the University of Toledo in 1993 and 1995 respectively.  I have managed to work at various Colleges and Universities to gain some personal experience in Social Work, Counseling, and Library Sciences.  I have been clean and sober for 27 years now.  I am responsible for keeping myself away from recreational drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, and other mind altering drugs.  I will admit that I have a problem dealing with porn.  I have not looked at it in over a month right now.  If I were married to a Christian Woman, I would not have to worry about dealing with the issues of the world.  I am guilty of dealing with the issues of the world. Romans 12:2 says do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I will admit that I am praying for a woman to come into my life and transform me into the man that God wants me to.  I will admit another thing is that I am working on myself by changing the way I communicate.  I am not using bad words and staying away from people who use vulgarity.  I am praying every single day and reading the Bible.  I will admit that I am in need of an AA Sponsor.  I am looking for someone who has experience in working the 12 Steps and reading the AA Book.
