Is It True That We Should Not Boast About Tomorrow?

        Is it True that we should not boast about tomorrow?  The answer to this question is that we should not boast about tomorrow because tomorrow is not promise to us.  I will admit that I used to tell everyone that I would see them tomorrow or the day afterwards.

 However, I am realizing that my family members and friends have passed away.  It makes me feel very sad because I do not see anyone from my past right now.  For instance, my mother passed away on July 20, 2017.  I spoke with my mother a few days prior to her sickness, and I told her that I would see her tomorrow.  A close friend of mine told me to say “If the Lords Will, I will do this or that”.

        I understand right now that we cannot say anything that would go against God’s Will.  This is the reason why I cannot make any promises because I really do not know what will transpire within the same minute.  It is okay to become optimistic about certain things, but I am not at the liberty of boasting and bragging about things of the earth.  What is inside of this earth, we cannot take it with us.

 We have to leave it behind.  I am not at the liberty of saying I will see you tomorrow or the next day.  I can only take things one day at a time.  Actually, I can take things one moment at a time.  To be honest with everyone, my own thoughts do not belong to me.  This is how precious life is to me personally.  God even knows what I am going to say in advance.  This is very serious!!  I know for myself that I cannot talk about the things on earth; when they will dissolve eventually.  I can always say that it is God’s Will for me and not myself.  Therefore, I cannot go against God in any way.  I am trying to have a nice day.  It is God’s way and not my own.  I want to say thank you for reading my essay; even though it was brief.  God is the commander and chief.  This is the reason why I can say I must decrease, and He must increase.  Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!
