This is a miscellaneous blog that pertains to population shifts and changes. For instance, there are estimates that has it that the United States Population has both shifted and changed within the past 30 years. Let’s look at this for a moment. An example of a specified shift and change has a lot to do with the amount of people who are here in the United States. There are an estimated 300,000,000 people in the United States that are actively living here as citizens. There are those who are still bearing green cards and are inside of the country illegally for what reason we do not know.

Next, when we look at these estimates that pertain to population shift, we have to look and explore the mortality rates among members of specific populations. When we look at European-Americans for instance, this population has changed dramatically. This population has decreased within the past 30 years. It is because of an increasing population that has lived to see old age. There are those who have died because of illness. The European-American population has decreased from 80% to 75% within the past 30 years. This is because of illnesses, and the amount of other members from different populations that has entered the country.

Further, these estimates are not final as far as the total population inside of our American Borders until the end of the year. The 2010 census is not completed because the population numbers will have to still be counted and completed within a specified period of time. Another staggering statistic is that there is an increase in the minority population since 1980. For instance, the Mexican-American population has increased from 8% in 1990 to a whopping 13% in 2009. This is due to the fact that there are more Hispanics than African-Americans and other minorities in the United States. There are issues that have a lot to do with immigration in this country that the US Government and the states are trying to put limitations on those who would like to gain an opportunity for citizenship.

Our borders are congested on a daily basis with many people entering this country illegally by climbing over the barrier walls that protect our borders. It is so hard to control this issue that many who protect our borders are seeking assistance from anyone who is willing to gain employment with the US Border Patrol or the Armed Forces. Our borders must also be protected from all terrorist threats.

In addition, let’s have a look at the African-American Population right now. This population has decreased dramatically since 1980. The reason is why this population has decreased in numbers because of homicide. There are African-American males who are engaged in subculture related activities. This subculture related activities have a lot to do with memberships of street enterprises. Although there are a number of European-Americans, Mexican-Americans, and Asian-Americans that are involved in a subculture that only those who are broadcast the most are heavily impacted. This means that the media as well as government agencies are solely responsible for compiling statistics that reveal that those with a majority culture or population tend to have the most members.

Also, there is an issue that pertains to a strong decrease in the institution of family. The erosion of the family is a real big issue in all cultures. Let’s look at family erosion for a moment. If there is an absent parent, then there is a great potential of family erosion. This means a breakdown in the family. This means that a mother or father has to bear all of the responsibilities of taking care of the children. The statistics according to the United States Department of Health and Human Services reveal that the poverty rate has increased from 38,000,000,000 to 46.5 million in one year. This is very serious!!!! This means that people are out of work, single female households has increased as well. There is over 55% of the population in the African-American community that is taking care of their children without a male inside of the household.

Moreover, we also have to look at other citizens who are members of different cultures. The Asian Population has increased slightly since 1990. Their statistics has increased because there they are living longer and are living productive lives. Just like all cultures, this is a thriving culture that has a great deal of unity just like all others. The communities themselves are close knit. At least there is a consensus instead of a majority rule in their native country. This population has the least members as citizens in the United States. Unlike the Native American- American Population is concerned, their population numbers are much lower than all of the others.

Finally, a population with the size of 300,000,000 citizens, we have to break all of this down to determine actual percentages. The European-American population has at least 225,000,000 citizens. This makes up at least 75% of the United States Population. In the African-American community there are at least 37,000,000 citizens. In fact, there are more African American women than men. The statistics for this population are staggering because of a significant decrease in males due to homicide and other acts of violence. The immortality rates for this racial group are questionable. The fastest minority group at the moment is the Hispanic population. Their statistics make up 13% of the population in the United States.
