What’s something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?

What is something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?  Honestly I really thought that men and boys were not scared of girls and women, but it turned out to be true because it happened to me. For years, I was scared of girls and women because they used to beat me up. In Addition, my sister used to beat me up for years.   My mother always told me to never hit girls and women because a real boy or a man is supposed to walk away from a confrontation with the opposite sex 🤔. Whenever a man or a woman walks away from trouble; it means God is still with you.

This is the reason why prisons and jails worldwide are filled with men and women who are not mature enough to walk away from a confrontation because in Proverbs 29:11 says: A fool vents all of his feelings but a wise man holds them back.  I remember when I used to be that fool who vented all of my personal feelings  but it took me years to learn how to become a wise man who have learned how to hold onto my feelings.   Therefore nothing is ridiculous when it comes to human behavior because it can definitely happen to you at any given time.
