What Does Romans 6:13 Mean

Verse of the Day ▼ Devotions ▼ Search Home Verse Of The Day Romans 6:13 ◄ What Does Romans 6:13 Mean? ► and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Romans 6:13(NASB) Verse Thoughts Romans is the seed-bed for Christian doctrine and Paul lays out the foundational truth of the glorious gospel of grace in this book, in a clear, concise, and systematic way. In the previous chapters, Paul took pains to show us that all men are sinners – both Jew and Gentile alike. All are in need of a Saviour and the only way to escape condemnation, to be eternally justified, to be declared righteous in God’s eyes, and to be positionally set apart unto Him, is by grace through faith in the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. And in Roman chapters 6 to 8, Paul gently guides us through the lifelong process of progressive sanctification. Every believer is placed in union with Christ, (positionally sanctified) the moment they place their trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Once we have been saved and been placed in this unbreakable union with Him, every Christian is set apart unto God. Every believer is holy unto the Lord at salvation… and from that moment, we embark on a lifelong process of sanctification, (practical or progressive sanctification) as the indwelling Holy Spirit works in our life to gradually change us, so that we become more like the Lord Jesus, Himself. The moment we are saved, the penalty for our sin is paid in full. But for the rest of our life, we are being delivered from the power of the old sin nature… as the old flesh lusts against our new spiritual life and the spirit lusts against the flesh (our new life in Christ is at enmity with our old sin nature). The way to become more Christ-like is to stop presenting the members of our body to sin… as instruments of unrighteousness. Rather, we are to present ourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and use our members as instruments of righteousness, for His praise and glory. But the question is: How can I do this? How can I achieve victory over the old sin nature? How can I triumph over the fleshly lust of this body? How can I conquer this body of sin so that I can please the Lord and live a holy life? How can I live godly in Christ Jesus when it seems that every good thing I want to do is tainted by my old sin nature? Well, Paul tells us that the secret of progressive sanctification is to KNOW the truth… RECKON it to be true… and YIELD one’s life to the Holy Spirit. We are to KNOW who we are in Christ and what He has done for us. We are to know that before salvation we were slaves to sin, but after salvation we are set free from bondage to sin and the curse of the law. We are to know the truth of the glorious gospel of grace – for the truth will set us free. However, knowledge is impotent and ineffective if we do not RECKON it to be so, to believe it to be true, to trust what God has promised, and to have faith in all that He has done for us. In Hebrews we read, “without faith it is impossible to please God,” which simply means that God is honoured when we believe all that He has told us in His written Word – when we reckon it to be true!!! Reckoning on the truth of God’s Word is to put faith into action. It is the step of faith which not only trusts God Word but acts on it as well. The Bible tells us that when we are saved by grace through faith in Christ, we are dead to sin and alive to Christ. He identified with our death so that by faith we identify with His eternal life – and we are therefore to reckon ourselves dead to sin and to reckon ourselves alive to Christ – we simply believe what the Bible tells us is true. Biblical fact, not spiritual fabrication. The final step in the victorious Christian walk is to truly YIELD ourselves to Christ… to present our lives as a living sacrifice to the honour of God. We are not to engage in the fleshly acts of unrighteousness which we did before we were saved. We are not to continue presenting the members of our body to sin… as instruments of unrighteousness. Rather, we are to present ourselves to God… as those alive from the dead. We are to offer our members as instruments of righteousness to the glory of God. We came into our positional union with Christ at salvation when we received His new life within, and we are to continue living for Him by reckoning God’s Word to be true and by acting upon it in our individual lives. However, we can’t do this in our own strength and power. This can only be achieved as we yield to the work of the Spirit of God within – as we die to our own desires which produce works of UN-righteousness – and live for Christ, allowing His life to work in us so that Christ is glorified in our lives. But unlike justification, which takes place at the moment of salvation and is not repeatable… ongoing sanctification is a day by day attitude of life where we allow the Word of God to dwell in us richly and to wash us clean with His cleansing flood. When Christ is exalted in every area of our life, our bodies become servants of righteousness as He works His work within – so that day by day we grow in grace and in a knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. My Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You that at salvation I was positioned in Christ and received a new life in Him. Thank You that at justification I became a new creation and a member of Christ’s Body. I pray my new life in Christ may grow in grace and that my faith in the truth of Your Word may be put into action – so that I not only believe Your Word but am ready and willing to act upon it, moment by moment, to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus’ name, AMEN. ◄ Previous: Romans 6:12 Next: Romans 6:14 ► Choose a Verse from Romans 6 1234567891011121314151617181920212223 John 15:18 Galatians 2:3 1 Corinthians 11:32 1 John 3:4 Follow us Romans 6:13 Further Study Romans 6:13 in the Parallel Bible Romans 6:13 in the Thematic Bible Romans 6:13 Cross References Romans 6:13 Treasury of Scripture Knowing Romans 6:13 Sermons Romans 6:13 Prayers Romans 6:13 Images Romans 6:13 Devotionals Choose Chapter Subscribe to the Verse of the day Today’s Devotionals The Daily Round John 14:28 Genesis 3:15 The All-pervading Cross Called Of God An Appointed Place – Woman At The Well (1) Unanswered Prayer ? A Flower Inside of the Desert!!!!

A flower inside of the desert

A flower inside of a desert is very rare. A flower period is a plant that grows inside of any climate and inside of any environment. Flowers that are usually inside of a desert that I have seen are sunflowers, cactus, and various grasses. I know because I am allergic to timothy grass. This is grass that is grown in the Western Part of the United States. A sunflower is very beautiful. This is a flower that flourishes inside of conditions that are hot and sticky. This is also a sweet young lady to whom I can call a sunflower. I am the type of person that call women beautiful names such as sunshine, shining star, sunflower, and a shooting star. These names are positive because it enlightens them as well as myself that women are beautiful and unique.

A flower inside of a desert is not a bad thing. At least there is water right under its own roots. A cactus has water inside of it. A cactus has its own water that comes from the ground. Whenever it rains inside of a desert, I can say one thing, at least all of the flowers inside of a desert receives it natural resource. The natural resource that I am talking about is water. Remember water is the element that sustains life. Without water, how would anything that is a living being survive on earth? The sunflowers are very large in size. They remind me of a sunshine that is directly on the ground. However, it is in plant form. I might sound as if I am a botanist. A botanist is a person who studies plants, vegetation, and the environment at large.

Natural Resources are the water, oil, and anything that is derived from the earth itself. Resources tend to vary according to the needs of mankind. Other natural resources such as coal and natural gas are extremely important. A flower can become a resource if a person is desperate and in need of food. Do you know that plants, fruits, and certain vegetables can be eaten at any time? For instance, pokeweed, blackberries, apples, peaches, and certain weeds that is located outdoors. An example of this is ragweed. Ragweed is used as a treatment for constipation. There are other weeds and certain fruits and vegetables that are used to treat certain ailments in the human body.

A flower inside of a desert is really varies according to species and location of the desert itself. If I were at a location in the Sahara, then I would have a really hard time trying to find a natural resource. Natural resources would be very hard to find. I would have to look very hard and for a very long period of time. Let’s also find out what are the types of animals, insects, and reptiles that an average person would find inside of a desert.

A person would see a coyote, fox, and snakes such as a sidewinder, sand flies, a hare, vultures, eagles, desert rats, scorpions, ground spiders, and many other living creatures. I also would like to add that it is very hot inside of desert regions and they have extremely humid conditions.

My flower inside of a place of this magnitude will stimulate my curiosity. By picking it up or directly looking at it, would allow me to ask specific questions. I would ask what kind of flower is it? How does it look to me? What color is it? How can a flower like this benefit mankind? These are the questions that I would ask if I were to observe a flower that is inside of a desert.
I have a strong desire for things that pertain to the environment as well as an interest in human relationships. The reason why I am a person who has this interest is because as a child, I have always wondered what things are like inside of my surroundings. The definition of the word environment is one own usual surroundings. The definition of matter is anything that takes up space. A human being is a beautiful creation from God. When God created woman he created a good thing. God created a woman to accompany man. Women are very intelligent human beings.

I am happy to have a great deal of respect for women and the issues that they support. Just like Breast Cancer, men can develop breast cancer and they wouldn’t know if you have this dangerous disease. I support all women’s issues no matter what they are. It is the woman who keeps families together. There are more women that are raising children all by themselves a whole lot more than ever before. My mother had taken care of all nine of us all by herself. She has done a magnificent job.

In spite of all of the obstacles that came between me and my siblings, we survived as a family unit. I can call myself a survivor still. I have learned a whole lot from my mother, grandmother, grandfathers, and other elders who have raised me. Just remember we all were ovum that was located inside of the ovaries of our mothers. The father is the one who had utilized his sperm and therefore, an ovum was fertilized and life itself came into existence. This process takes 48 hours. The entire maturation process when it pertains to life itself takes 236 to 270 gestation days. This is nine calendar months. Sometimes this process takes longer for some expecting mothers. This depends on the health of the fetus or embryo itself.

To be honest, any flower that is indigenous to the country itself can be grown inside of the desert. For instance, there are flowers that are from the Orient that are grown inside of deserts in the United States. There are flowers and cactus that are grown inside of residential areas in the Southeastern United States and in the Midwestern part of the United States. There are certain types of poison ivy plants that are grown all over the United States. For instance, there are certain types of poison ivy that has been growing in the Ohio River Valley that comes from Coastal Virginia.

There are also certain types of plants that exists in the Southeastern United States that have been planted in North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, South Carolina, and Missouri. I am referring to the Magnolia Plants. I have also seen plants such as cactus in the Carolinas and in coastal regions along the Southeastern United States. There is type of grass that is here in the United States called Japanese Blood Grass. This type of grass looks like a fern but it causes serious allergy problems. The stems themselves turn red during the fall season. Japanese Blood Grass is common in the Carolinas and in the Ohio River Valley. My favorite flower is called daisies. I also like perennials and annuals as well. It is that I have allergies so I have to be very careful when it comes to dealing with plants and certain foods.

Why Do Criminals Avoid Prosecution?

Why do Criminals Avoid Prosecution? By Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Let’s ask this very important question. Why do criminals avoid prosecution? The reason why criminals avoid prosecution is simple. First, they are afraid of suffering. The reason why there is a sense of apprehension on the criminals’ part is because their sense of consciousness has eroded. Another reason is they are afraid of facing their victims. They are afraid of facing their victims because they are not able to repay their personal debt to them. Another reason is that suffering is far greater for the defendant than the victims themselves. Suffering is a method that most defendants face each day by avoiding prosecution. This is because of the fact that society prefers incarceration than entering into a work release program.

Second, another reason why criminals avoid prosecution is simply because they are afraid of getting shot and killed. This is because they are afraid of showing their faces to the public that hiding is the better alternative. Men are afraid of facing prosecution because they have a tendency to hide out much longer than women. Men are prone to avoid prosecution, and in some cases would prefer a harsher punishment when captured. Women on the other hand, have a sense of conscious and they are apt to turn themselves in much quicker than an average man. It is not that women have a profound fear of prosecution; it’s that women tend to reflect on the consequences and repercussions to criminal justice.

Why is it that women are more than likely than men to turn themselves in to the authorities than men? The answer to this important question is that they tend to reflect on their future and their families. Men are the opposite. Men reflect on the negatives and they tend to possess a nothing to lose attitude. There are some women who might possess this disposition, however; if women have a family or a concern for their own personal safety, then this is the reason why this tend to exist.

Third, men and women alike tend to avoid prosecution for various reasons. In some cases, both men and women are not aware of their set of circumstances to begin with. This is because women who tend to explore more alternatives than men. The alternatives to avoiding prosecution are using an alias. There are women who use multiple names to avoid dealing with the authorities. There are men who engage in this behavior on a daily basis. Why are men and women using aliases more than usual? The answer is very simple. This is because they are really reluctant to face their victims.

The victims themselves prefer justice that is feasible to their personal needs. It is not that the criminal justice system is flawed, there are times that it works and times when it does not work. However, hard work pays off as long as a plaintiff represents themselves professionally in court, a positive outcome is possible.

Fourth, men are always avoiding prosecution simply because they are the cowards of society. They are afraid of facing anyone they have a personal problem with on a daily basis. It is not that women are following suit. Gender is specified in this case because women tend to think of the circumstances and the nature of the crimes itself. Men on the other hand, tend to take an aggressive stand when it comes to facing members of law enforcement. Maybe it’s that men are reluctant to facing a much stiffer sentence. Women usually take a different approach when it comes to avoiding prosecution. For instance, women tend to hide with men who they are not familiar with.

Women who are on the run have a tendency to hide with other criminals themselves. Over 50% of the women who are captured in the United States are with a significant other that is not married to them. Oftentimes, women are hiding inside of other countries and cities just to avoid getting prosecuted. The statistics are according to the United States Department of Justice. Recent statistics also reveal that women who are on the run are around males with an extensive criminal history themselves. Women who are on the run even for minor offenses are more than likely to hide in other cities and deny the existence of their crimes. Both men and women are in denial when it comes to even having an involvement with the persons that they are accused of hurting in the first place.

Finally, what are the alternatives for these criminals? The answer is getting them to justice by getting the general public involved. Also, the media is an outlet when it comes to assisting in the efforts to capturing criminals. The assistance of the media, law enforcement, and the general public is very important. There is also a sense of reluctance when it pertains to the general public getting involved in capturing criminals. Men and women alike who are responsible for committing crimes against humanity need to face justice. Women are more inclined to turn themselves in to law enforcement because they feel safe and secure and relieved because at least the burden is completely off of their backs.

The men that are with them are aiding and preventing these women from facing the people that they have wronged personally. The men are involved because they are harboring criminals. The men who are involved in criminal activities tend to be more nonchalant than women. They are more apathetic, discontent, unconcerned for personal safety, and are reluctant to deal with their problems. Men are not cognizant of the circumstances and in some cases, aren’t aware themselves that they have committed a crime. There are times, they talk about it boastfully as well as women, but they refuse to deal with the problem. Thank you for reading my report.

Excommunication and Persecution

Excommunication and Persecution

What is excommunication? Let’s look at what it really feels like to be excommunicated for a brief moment. Excommunication is when someone is not being spoken to. There is not any contact whatsoever. A person can feel excommunicated inside of their own home with their own family. Whenever there is an altercation or argument, people inside of the residence do not communicate with each other until there is a resolution to a specific problem. Just because a person is writing about this, does not mean there is a specific problem. There are solutions when it comes to excommunication. First, find out where it is coming from and resolve it. How I personally feel about it, I have been going through this in my own personal life for a very long period of time. There are issues in my own family that are not resolved, but I rely on God or a Power greater then myself to resolve it. Second, it is really up to the individual who is going through this to deal with this in a way that is constructive.

For example, there are counselors that are available for those who are in extreme dire need. Third, animals and nature are a very effective way of dealing with hurt and pain. An example of this consists of having animals as a means of healing. Animals as pets are therapy!!! Animal therapy as an alternative is extremely effective!!! Do you know that having a cat or dog inside of the home, heals a person and it provides unconditional love between animal and human. However, there are those who enjoy critic sizing others through the words from their own mouths, that backbiting itself is a sin. In the book of Ecclesiastes 11:11, it talks about a snake that is not charmed that is capable of biting. This is no different when it comes to people. People will bit you in the same way that a serpent would. This is the reason why others wait on their Eternal Blessing from God Himself. When God bless a person with that special someone, it is forever.

What is persecution? Persecution is when one is condemned by others for reasons that are unknown. Persecution can affect people in many different ways. It affects them physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, financially, spiritually, and personally. Persecution can also become self inflicted!!!! A person can persecute themselves because of a lack of motivation and effort to progress. Persecution can also affect others by the way they are treated inside of their own community. People can mistreat others due to the misunderstanding of another. If this person is not confronted face to face over this problem that they are having towards another, it is not the victims fault. It is the fault of the one who is afflicting the damage towards another.
Physical persecution is when someone uses measures that are in peril against themselves. For example, this also can mean that a person refuses to deal with issues that are affecting them.

There are also other reasons why people hurt themselves. A person can hurt themselves based on the pressures of life that are extremely difficult for them to deal with!!!! Furthermore, this also means that there are others that are bothering them so bad that they also need to be confronted. It is really not the person’s fault to begin with!!! This is also the fault of the other person who is causing physical, mental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual torment towards another. There are many people who just do not want to see another person happy. This is called discontentment!! This form of discontentment is called jealousy to begin with. Someone can resent you based on who you are as a person. People can dislike you based on what you can do for yourself.

This is an extreme profound fear of another person’s success is the fault of the persecutors themselves. If there is a fear of someone else being successful and you are not, it is your fault after all. This means that you have a real problem with your own self that you are really afraid to deal with.
Mental persecution is when a person says things that can hinder them from their own successes. An example of this is saying I can’t!!!! Another example of this is telling yourself that you cannot do anything because you are afraid of failure. There are friends and members inside of your own family that can hinder you from success.

This is classified as mental abuse!!! Mental Abuse is words from the mouth of another that are extremely painful that it inhibits another person from freedom. Sometimes people can tell you out of their own mouth that they love you when they really do not. This can also be classified as mental torture!!! Why be around others who are always a negative influence on you to begin with. Inside of a relationship, if your spouse or significant other is really putting you down all of the time, why deal with them. If it is your own choice as a man or woman to deal with someone who is bad for you, this is really your fault.

Spiritual Abuse is when a person does not give God a chance to begin with. When a person does not give God a chance to be involved in their lives, this is not God’s Fault, it is the fault of the individual. You already know that God is always there whenever you really need Him. This really means that God and Jesus Christ should be the focal point in anyone’s life. God and Jesus Christ are involved in my life right now because I want it!!! I crave God and Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I read my Bible and say my prayers each and every single day. I also attend church services on a regular basis. I am not saying that I am the Most Perfect Person when I am not.

I am just like everyone else, I am a human being. According to Charles Darwin, human beings are called Social Animals. A social animal is one who uses a language that is audible and is heard from others. Language can be spoken both verbally and nonverbally. Being called a social animal is not to offend anyone. This is based on theory from a person who had atheist views to begin with. This person did not believe in God to begin with. He did but his viewpoint had changed over a specified period of time. Giving God more of your time each day as well as prayer and meditation really helps.
In conclusion, I want to mention all of this because I really feel that life is really what a person makes of it. It is based on chances and efforts that we make in our own lives. I really feel at this time that God is the one who can bring about change in anyone’s life.

As long as you give God and Jesus Christ a chance to really clean up your own life. Things will get better for you. At least I can say that all of my mistakes from the past have been erased by God Himself. However, inside of the eyes of a man or woman, I will always go through stress and strain. This is because they do not know the real person inside of me. This means that they did not know me personally to begin with. They criticized me when they really did not know me. My relationships from the past were life’s lessons to me. This means that the women who were involved in my life did not appreciate me for the person that I am to begin with.

I was never appreciated nor accepted as a member of the human race by them anyway. This includes the online relationship that I have had with women in the past. There was never a purpose in the relationship. These were women who had taken advantage of someone who was only doing God’s Work. Anytime that a women deceives an honest man by telling him what they really need instead of addressing the problem to begin with, this person did not like him in the first place. Therefore, if a person is going to establish a relationship with the member of the opposite sex, it should be based on honesty, truth, love, peace, happiness, and dedication. Loyalty is very important in a relationship.

This means that people need to be just dedicated to spend the rest of their lives with the person that they are willing to deal with. This is extremely important. No matter what a person goes through in their own personal life, God will repair all damages. Man and Women will have to accept the fact that relationships are based upon effort, time, dedication, and the willingness to spend quality time with that special someone. Just being there emotionally, physically, mentally, and physically, and spiritually is extremely important.

Cohabitation vs Traditional Marriage

Cohabitation vs. Traditional Marriage

This is a report on the advantages and disadvantages between cohabitation and a traditional marriage. Let’s look at what are the two as a whole. The definition of cohabitation is when two people either male or a female live together inside of one house. On the other hand, both men and women can live together for one common purpose. It is based on necessity and its sole purpose is to survive by putting all of your resources together and maintain a specific place to live. If it applies to non-married couples, the only thing that is accomplished is the bills are getting paid. For example, the utilities, food, and rent are being paid by someone who has income coming from a specific source. On the other, anyone at any age usually cohabitate as a means of testing the waters. This is to determine whether the person that they are currently living with is suitable for marriage.

This is done on a trial and error basis. Anyone who agree with cohabitation as a means to figure out whether this person is a candidate for marriage, then good luck!!!! As far as a traditional marriage is concerned, it is when a man and woman who has done things the right way, and they are ready to settle down and join a life partnership. A certificate from the state of which the union has been official is required. It does require a great deal of planning and responsibility when it comes to both men and women. Some people pay for their own wedding all by themselves. There are others who would prefer to have others to assist in this process. A wedding planner or ministers of a church are examples of people who will assist in this process.

We are not saying that family members could not help. It varies according to how family members accept the bride or groom as a member of the family. Now each member of a cohabitated family household as well as a traditional marriage must have some financial stability. This means that each member of the household must carry their own weight on a financial basis. You cannot have one person carrying the full load all by themselves. If this is the case, then you will have conflict inside of the residence. This is not a laughing matter. This is because women are stronger than men when it comes to maintaining a specific household.

This is because they are organized and straight to the point when it comes to paying bills as well as buying food. Women are better planners when it comes to dealing with childcare, but they cannot do it all by themselves. This is the reason why men should be able to keep up when it comes to learning how to listen to women. If not, then a man who does not know how to manage the affairs of a household and children will always have trouble. This is because some men tend to allow women to pay for all of the bills and they also are controlling inside of a cohabitated or a traditional marriage environment.

For more information about this, try looking into your law enforcement statistics as well as issues pertaining to domestic violence. This is not to say that there is not any equilibrium or equality inside of the household. Therefore, good communication skills are necessary when it comes to maintaining a household of any kind. It is always very important to understand that there are more women and men who have decided to try the cohabitation method. Why is this, this is because it is much easier on them than getting married.

This is simply because an average person will have to find out how you are personally before they will decide to get married. This is the feeling out process. It is a feeling out process because it enables men and women to find out all about each other. Like they say, you have to find out what is sand from soil. If a person does not know the difference between sand and soil then this is a problem. Traditional marriages are not lasting very long for young people between the ages of 18 to 40. The reason why is because there is a breakdown in communication and there are times that both men and women hold on to emotional baggage from the past. If there is baggage from the past, then it is very difficult for couples to have a successful relationship.

Men and women are different when it comes to communication in the first place. If a man is afraid to share with his spouse or significant other about his personal feelings, then there is a problem. This means that his ego is inside of his body and he is hiding his true self. A man’s ego is like a cage that he tends to hide inside of whenever there is a conflict inside of the home. Men on the other hand are supposed to become leaders inside of an average cohabitation or traditional marriage household. If he is not a leader, then why is a woman so reluctant allowing him to spread his wings and fly? I guess women tend to fear that they cannot find another man to replace the one that was lost. This is an insecurity on their part because like they say, people can do things all by themselves.

People will have to become secure within yourself. By becoming secure, this means to gain confidence and become more responsible for your own actions as an adult. Cohabitation has its disadvantages, by saying this; it means that men and women might not get married in the first place. There is not a purpose. You are just living inside of a home and paying the bills. What do you have to share with each other? I guess nothing much!!! What are you intentions in your cohabitated home environment? Evaluate yourself as a person and ask your spouse or significant other to do the same.

Disadvantages in a traditional marriage are unemployment, a lack of childcare resources, extreme poverty, and breakdown in communication between husbands and wives, as well as active addiction issues. In a traditional marriage, men and women refuse to be honest with each other about their personal needs. This also applies to a cohabitation environment. There is so much dishonesty and a lack of harmony that it causes men and women to separate and go their own separate ways.
Departure is extremely difficult in cohabitation and a traditional home environment. If men and women are not honest and truthful from the very start, then problems will arise and there will never be a purpose or a set foundation for success in any of these relationships. Cohabitation and a traditional marriage is really what you make of it. If your life at the present is not up to your expectations, then try attending church and request for God’s help. It is God who provides us with the air that we breathe each day. It is God who gives us our life and bless us with the people who we choose to share our life with. God Bless You!!!

That flavor would create a sucking response. What the midwives were doing was creating a thirst and a desire for more food. It gave the children a hunger to eat. Our job as parents is to develop in our children a hunger, taste, and desire for God and His Word. This does not mean we can force-feed our children the Bible. That never works. We must teach our children early in life the excitement of the true stories found in the Bible and the joy that comes from studying about God and knowing Him. What is the purpose of this training? “Train up a child in the way he should go…” The whole book of Proverbs is about wisdom. Wisdom is loving God, knowing God, finding God’s will and doing it. That is the way we should all go. We are all born wanting to go our own way, but we should train children to go in the way they “should go,” not in the way they would want to go. So many parents cling to the last part of this verse, “…Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” This is a proverb…a reliable principle, not a promise. Generally speaking, even though children may stray away at times, they will never go totally away from God if they truly know Him. I absolutely believe that a person who truly knows Jesus will never completely turn from faith in Him. However, for many parents this verse has become a sledgehammer of guilt. They have a prodigal child and wonder what they did wrong. Just because we train our children up in the way they should go does not mean that is the way they will go. There are exceptions to this principle. Kids grow up and have a mind of their own. Even God’s first children, the Israelites, rebelled against Him; and He is the only perfect Father. There is only one thing we are in control of as parents and that is the way we train our children. The rest we must leave up to God, remembering that He loves our children more than we ever could. Dear Father, I want to be very intentional with giving my children spiritual direction so that they know how to follow you. Are We Redeemed By The Blood of the Lamb?

Anthony Joseph Hopkins January 12, 2021
Do you know what it means to be redeemed? Because if you fully understand what Calvary means in the life of a Believer, then you are proud to say, “I AM REDEEMED by the blood of the Lamb!”

Psalm 107:2, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy…”

When Jesus went to Calvary’s Cross, He willingly traded His flawless life for yours. Your life was riddled with guilt and shame, and yet the stench and filth of your sins was instantly traded for a robe of purest white. You gained the opportunity to have your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life by accepting Christ as your Savior and thus earning eternal redemption.

There are two redemptions. The one we earn here on earth; and the one we will earn as an eternal reward. Both are because of the shed blood of Calvary’s Cross.

As a sinner, you should have been condemned to die. But Jesus, the precious Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, died in your place. He redeemed you from all unrighteousness and set you free from death, hell and the grave (Revelation 1:18). He set you free from sickness and disease (Psalm 91:10). He set you free from the pain of the past and the fear of tomorrow (Matthew 6:26-34). And whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36)!

That is just a snapshot of what it means to be redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ! He has completely redeemed every aspect of your life. He has even promised to fight your battles for you (2 Chronicles 20:17). You are precious to Him!

So, what are you doing with this priceless gift? Are you wasting time wallowing in self-pity? Stop! You are redeemed! You have better things to do!

Psalm 72:14, “He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; and precious shall be their blood in His sight.”

God is from everlasting to everlasting. There is no shadow of turning in Him (James 1:17). What He has done in the past, He can and will do again. Redemption is forever! This single act not only changed the course of history, but the future for each and every one of us!

Isaiah 63:16, “…You, O Lord, are our Father; our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.”

Are you distraught? Tied to the pain of your past? Worried about all of the wrongs you have committed; thinking you can never be of any use to the Kingdom? Wrong! You are redeemed! Your sins are forgiven, never to be remembered against you any more…not because you deserve it, but because His grace is greater than your sin (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Ephesians 1:7, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

You are purified and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. The royal blood of heaven flows through your veins.

1 Corinthians 1:30, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption…”

Hebrews 9:22, “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”

Praise God for what He has done! His goodness is from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 90:2)! His mercies are renewed every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on us!

Luke 1:68, “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people…”

Who is redeemed? YOU are redeemed! Jesus has redeemed all of us, regardless of our past, regardless of our faults. He came that we ALL might have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Revelation 5:9, “…You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation…”

And the Church will be redeemed once again. When Jesus Christ comes to call us home, it will be the greatest day in the life of every Believer. In the twinkling of an eye we will be called up as the trumpet sounds. Our Redeemer will be calling us home to spend an eternity worshipping Him!

Luke 21:27-28, “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

What is the greatest thing you can celebrate today as the walls of life come crashing down around you? When you are celebrating the greatest mountain-top victories or trudging through the deepest valleys, you have reason to celebrate every moment that you have breath in your lungs. Why? Because He lives and you can face tomorrow with great hope that the very best is yet to come!

Job 19:25, “For I know that my Redeemer lives…”

I know that my redeemer lives!!  I want to inform all of you that I love all of you very much.  I know that this is a very short essay.  I realize that my life at this time was pleasant and gracious.  I want to say to everyone that I am recovering from the Covid 19 virus right now.  It has been a very bumpy ride.  The Lord has been with me throughout my journey.  I am redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb.  My Doctor stated to me that I can catch this all over again.  By the Blood of the Lamb, I am redeemed!!

By the blood of Christ we are redeemed, forgiven, and we enjoy God in the Holy of Holies!

https://i1.wp.com/agodman.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/sunshine2.jpg?resize=300%2C225Hallelujah for the precious blood of the Lamb! This morning I was filled with appreciation for the blood of Jesus Christ – an eternal blood (since He offered Himself to God through the eternal Spirit), an efficacious blood, a prevailing blood, and a speaking blood! His blood speaks more than the blood of Abel (which spoke revenge from the ground) – His blood speaks “forgiveness” and “cleansing”!

When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, He fulfilled the types of all the offerings – He offered Himself to God as an all-inclusive sacrifice on the cross to take deal with all the negative things in the world! On the cross He shed His blood – which is for our redemption, for our forgiveness, and so much more!

Here are some aspects I enjoyed regarding the blood the Lord Jesus shed for us on the cross:

  • The Blood of Christ is the blood for our redemption. We were lost and sold ourselves under the usurpation of Satan and even under the law, but through His death on the cross and based on His blood, Christ redeemed us back to God! For the redemption to be proper, Christ had to be the perfect sacrifice – through His life and death on earth He fulfilled all the righteous, holy, and glorious requirements of God, and He then paid the ransom for us. He who had no sin nor ever tasted sin was made sin for us – to redeem us out of the curse of the law and out of the usurpation of Satan! Through His blood we have been redeemed!
  • Christ’s blood is for our forgiveness. As the Lamb of God, Christ died for us and shed His blood. With the shedding of blood, now there is forgiveness of sins! Someone died on our behalf and shed His blood so that we may be forgiven! This is the perfect blood of the perfect God-man, washing away all our sins and trespasses! We have the blood of Christ applied to us not only initially when we receive the Lord – but even daily whenever we come to the Lord and He shines on us, we cooperate with Him and confess our sins – the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ washes away any sin and cleanses us from sins (1 John 1:9)!
  • The blood of Christ is the blood of the covenant, even the blood that enacted the new covenant! A covenant is an agreement between two parties, and to enact this covenant there is the need for the shedding of blood. God enacted the old covenant and blessed the people of Israel for keeping it – because of the blood that was shed by their sacrifices on the altar. In the New Testament, God wants to give us a new covenant – He wants to Give Himself to us (all He is, all He has accomplished, all He has obtained and attained – everything) as a covenant! He wants to give us a new heart and a new Spirit to seek Him and to love Him! When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, His blood enacted the new covenant – now we can enjoy God as our portion and as our everything! Through the blood of the covenant, we are now entitled to come to Christ, our portion, and claim Him as our life, our supply, our everything! The blood of the covenant brings us into all the divine blessings!
  • The blood of Jesus Christ brings us into the Holy of Holies – it brings us into God! In Heb. 10:19 it says, Having therefore, brothers, boldness for entering the Holy of Holies in the blood of Jesus. The Holy of Holies is the place where only the High Priest could enter in the Old Testament, and he went in there not to “do something” for God, but just to be with God and be infused with God. Today God wants us to come all the way into the Holy of Holies based on the blood of Jesus Christ – to spend time with Him in our mingled spirit and be infused with God! The blood of Jesus Christ made all this possible – we can now enjoy God, we can behold His beauty, and we can receive His infusion! Here in the Holy of Holies the blood is sprinkled – God looks at the blood and He is satisfied, and He can be with us and He can infuse us! Enjoying God in this way produces us as God-men, men of God, men with the divine life and nature fully expressing God and shining Him out!

Daily we can turn to the Lord and have fellowship with Him – and as we come into the light, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from every sin! Even more, we can “wash our robes and come to eat of the tree of life” – we can come to the Lord to enjoy all His riches! He is so rich, so full, so all-inclusive!

Christ is our portion – He has been covenanted to us, and based on the blood of Christ, we can enjoy Him! We can come forward with boldness to the throne of grace in the Holy of Holies in the blood of Jesus! Hallelujah, we can spend time with God to be infused with Him and behold His beauty!

Do you know what it means to be redeemed? Because if you fully understand what Calvary means in the life of a Believer, then you are proud to say, “I AM REDEEMED by the blood of the Lamb!”

Are we Redeemed?

Are We Redeemed?

By: Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Praise The Lord Saints!! Praise The Lord!!  How are you doing today?  Fine, I hope.  I have a very important question to ask all of you.  Are we redeemed?  The answer to this question is yes.  Jesus Christ died for the sins of all people.  He died for me so that I can be saved.  What is the definition of the word redeem?

In Christian theology, redemption (Greek: apolutrosis) refers to the deliverance of Christians from sin. … Most evangelical theologians and Protestant denominations reject Origen’s argument that God paid the ransom price of redemption to Satan.  The actual definition of the word redeem means as follows: compensate for the faults or bad aspects of (something).  “A disappointing debate redeemed only by an outstanding speech gain or regain possession of (something) in exchange for payment. His best suit had been redeemed from the pawnbrokers.

Next, I want to inform all of you that God is doing for all of us more than we are doing for ourselves.  This is the truth!!  I am saying this because Jesus Christ died for all of us so that we can have a chance at reconciliation.

Moreover, I want to inform all of you that you are my brother and sister in Christ Jesus.  Even though, I might not live in the same city as most of you, but I really love you.  I am really praying for everyone.  I am praying for my brother because he has not spoken to me since 2017.  My brother did not speak to me since July 28, 2017.  It really hurts me because I have called him as well as send text messages to him, but he has not responded whatsoever.  My other siblings and I get along very well.

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins.  Are we redeemed?  Yes, I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.  I am saved because I have confessed all of my sins to Him.  I have been forgiven.  I have forgiven others as well.  Proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way they should go, when they get old, they will not depart from it.  I grew up attending church by my grandparents.  My mother also attended church with me as well.

In Addition, I want to inform all of you that I believe that Jesus Christ was born in the flesh, lived among us, and died for all of our sins.  He also was risen and He sits in the Right Hand of God.  I am very happy that I am redeemed.  Jesus Christ is my Personal Savior.  I am happy because God is getting ready to do some new things for me.

Also, I want to say that Jesus Christ suffered while He was in the flesh.  I am free because my chains are broken.  I am free in Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ did not die for all of us to be miserable.  I am a person who really love people.  I love you, even I do not know you.  What does God have in store for me?  I know that I am a very intelligent man, who have common sense.  I am a man, who loves all people.  I have come a very long way in my personal journey in Christ Jesus.

Finally, I want to say that I really appreciate everyone.  I want to inform all of you that Jesus Christ has been wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  I really believe it!!  He took the punishment for me.  I am redeemed because I am reconciled with God once again.  I have been baptized on Sunday February 15, 2015.  I have confessed of all of my sins to Jesus Christ.

In Conclusion, I want to inform all of you that I am very happy as a Christian man.  It is the Lord that knows all of my steps.  He counts all of our steps.  The air that we are breathing does not belong to any of us.  The money that we earn each month does not belong to us.

In Summary, are we redeemed?  Yes, we are redeemed because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  I am very happy that Jesus Christ is my Personal Savior.  I love him because he has never stopped loving me as a person.  Psalms 56:8 says: You numbered my wanderings, put my tears inside of your bottle; are they not inside of your Book?  The answer to this question is yes.  God knows exactly how long we are going to live.  He understands all of us.  He even knew all of us even when we were inside of our mother’s womb.  I love all of you very much.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Thank you for reading my essay.

What Does Titus 1:7 Mean?

Verse of the Day ▼ Devotions ▼ Search Home Verse Of The Day Titus 1:7 ◄ What Does Titus 1:7 Mean? ► For the overseer must be above reproach as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, Titus 1:7(NASB) Verse Thoughts Paul was a bondservant of the Lord Jesus Christ, and his calling as God’s appointed apostle to the Gentiles was to furnish the elect of God with a knowledge of the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ. Paul was an apostle of Jesus, who was called to equip believers with godly attributes which would glorify our Father in heaven. Titus was a young man who, like Timothy, demonstrated some special spiritual characteristics which had proved him to be a reliable helper and fellow workman for the sake of the gospel of Christ. Paul considered Titus to be his son in the common faith, and to him was given the responsibility of overseeing the activities of the local churches, on the island of Crete. In this short epistle, we discover that Paul had left Titus in Crete and entrusted him with the practical oversight of the churches around the island. Indeed, he was given particular responsibility to ordain church elders and select godly overseers in every city, “for the overseer must be above reproach as God’s steward. He must not be self-willed; not quick-tempered; not addicted to wine; not pugnacious and not fond of sordid gain.” In this epistle, Paul lays out the norm for church elders. They are to be men of outstanding character, with demonstrable leadership qualities and spiritual maturity. Every born-again child of God is a member of the body of Christ and each have their own God-appointed gifts and abilities… so that they are enabled to carry out the roles and responsibilities for which each has been called. Not everyone is gifted to preach and teach, and similarly, not everyone is called to be a church elder or the overseer in a local fellowship. It should not be a position that is decided by a self-appointed committee, but a person who has been divinely enabled and is personally willing to undertake the responsibility of shepherding God’s people. Elders are instructed to care for the people of God and to be vigilant in preventing false teachers and false doctrines from infiltrating their congregations. An overseer should also be a man who is willing and able to lead by example and not by his own, personal dictates. He should not be someone who becomes an overseer or a church elder… simply because he is good at book-keeping, organising an office, repairing the building infrastructure, or a ‘whiz’ at booking good speakers! The sort of man that is qualified and equipped to become an elder, is one that sees his role as humbly overseeing God’s people through the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. A man should not become an elder in order to further his career… or to furnish his own honour, popularity, or credentials. He should humbly recognise that he is a servant of God whose heart should be blameless before the Lord and who should be both doctrinally sound and above reproach in his public and private life. A self-willed individual, who likes to dictate the rule of law, or who exhibits violent behaviour or crude thinking, is totally inappropriate for this role of overseer, but so also is the man who is too timid and fearful to stand up for that which is right and true. Rather, an overseer should be sober-minded, prudent, and discrete in word and deed… as well as a man who is both trustworthy and led by the Spirit of God. The qualities of the overseer that are outlined in this epistle to Titus are, in effect, the characteristics that every child of God should seek to emulate. May we reflect on these godly qualities that Paul gives to Titus and examine ourselves to see if we are above reproach as God’s steward – not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, and not fond of sordid gain. My Prayer Heavenly Father, I want to be the sort of person that is pleasing in Your sight. Help me to examine myself to see if there are any areas within my own life and character that could be displeasing to You. Furnish the church fellowships of our nations with godly overseers who will take responsibility to care for the flock of God, and use them, and me, in whatever way You may choose, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN. ◄ Previous: Titus 1:6 Next: Titus 1:8 ► Choose a Verse from Titus 1 12345678910111213141516 Isaiah 45:22 Joshua 10:12 Titus 3:10 1 Timothy 2:1 Follow us Titus 1:7 Further Study Titus 1:7 in the Parallel Bible Titus 1:7 in the Thematic Bible Titus 1:7 Cross References Titus 1:7 Treasury of Scripture Knowing Titus 1:7 Sermons Titus 1:7 Prayers Titus 1:7 Images Choose Chapter Subscribe to the Verse of the day Today’s Devotionals The Meaning of Christ 1 Thessalonians 5:23 2 Chronicles 6:18 Rest In Him The Opened Sight Resting In Him (Easter Reflections – (10) The Arm of Love Doctrinal Statement / Privacy Policy / Use of Pictures / Donate / Contact Us © Copyright [2011 – 2021] Knowing-Jesus.com – All Rights Reserved ×

Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18(NASB) Verse Thoughts The second book of Timothy was written near the end of Paul’s life as he faced certain execution at the hands of Rome. He had received increasing opposition to his ministry from legalists and other enemies of the gospel, who vigorously opposed his teaching. And he sadly reported that all the Christians in Asia had forsaken him, including some of his closest friends. In this letter to the young pastor, we discover that Paul was suffering greatly for the sake of the gospel of Christ. However, despite his difficult trials and mounting tribulations, Paul was able to rejoice that the Lord had stood by him and strengthened him in his hour of desperate need. But the important message that he wanted to relay to Timothy was faithfulness – to faithfully continue to preach the Word, to be ready in season and out of season, to be prepared to reprove, rebuke, exhort, and encourage other believers with great patience and godly instruction. Paul knew that his earthly life was soon to end, and he wanted to remind Timothy to remain faithful – to faithfully endure to the end and to preach sound doctrine. But he also wanted to warn him, for the last time, of the fast-approaching spiritual apostasy that was already infiltrating the church. Paul knew that evil men and satanically inspired seducers would wax worse and worse – not only deceiving others but being deceived themselves. He urged the importance of knowing and studying the God-breathed Scriptures, which are given by inspiration of God and are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteous living… and the single most important tool to equip and thoroughly furnish the saints of God in all good works. Warning this young pastor to contend earnestly for the faith was uppermost in his mind as Paul penned his final letter to Timothy. But as Christianity was coming under even greater attack in multiple ways and from numerous sources, he also wanted to be sure that despite the shocking things that were happening both the Christian church and the world at large, Timothy would not be worried or concerned over Paul’s safety, but would trust in God, no matter what happened. Paul wanted to encourage Timothy and assure him that God is faithful to keep His promises, that the Lord would rescue him from every evil deed and every corrupt happening, and that God would bring him safely to his heavenly kingdom, for in Christ is all the power and all the glory forever and ever, amen. This encouraging comment from the apostle Paul is as relevant today as it was in those early destructive days of the newly formed Christian church. We have the assurance of almighty God that the Lord will rescue us from every evil deed, for He has promised to bring all who trust in the name of Christ to the safety of His heavenly kingdom. Although we live in a sin-sick world that is at enmity with God and at war with His anointed Son… and although we see the most shocking corruption saturating the highest offices of government, God is faithful to fulfil His many precious promises to those that are His. And although we are witnessing a satanically-inspired hatred for the things of God, an utter contempt and disdain for the glorious gospel of Christ, and a Church that is deceiving and being deceived in so many ways… we need not be afraid, for Christ has won the victory on our behalf and we have this promise, “the Lord will rescue me from every evil deed. He will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom – to Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen.” My Prayer Heavenly Father, what an inspiration to read this final letter that Paul wrote to Timothy and to realise that despite all the terrible things that he was facing, he encouraged us all to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word, which can never be broken. Thank You, Father, that You have promised to rescue all Your children from every evil deed and to bring us safely home into our heavenly inheritance in Christ. To You be all praise and glory forever and ever, AMEN. ◄ Previous: 2 Timothy 4:10 Next: Titus 1:1 ► Choose a Verse from 2 Timothy 4 12345678910111213141516171819202122 Joel 2:12 2 Corinthians 1:20 1 Corinthians 2:8 John 15:7 Follow us 2 Timothy 4:18 Further Study 2 Timothy 4:18 in the Parallel Bible 2 Timothy 4:18 in the Thematic Bible 2 Timothy 4:18 Cross References 2 Timothy 4:18 Treasury of Scripture Knowing 2 Timothy 4:18 Sermons 2 Timothy 4:18 Prayers 2 Timothy 4:18 Images 2 Timothy 4:18 Devotionals Choose Chapter Subscribe to the Verse of the day Today’s Devotionals The Child-Like Way Of The Cross Psalm 60:4 Luke 10:42 Powerless Recipients Intercessory Introspection Sacrifice and Offering (Easter Reflections – (9) An Intimate Silence Doctrinal Statement / Privacy Policy / Use of Pictures / Donate / Contact Us © Copyright [2011 – 2021] Knowing-Jesus.com – All Rights Reserved ×
