Who am I?

 Who am I? My name is Anthony Hopkins and I am originally from Dayton, Ohio. Although this is my hometown, but I have to recite that I have lived here for a period of time. I lived in the Charlotte, NC area for over 12 years. Although I am only visiting here trying to resolve issues with my own family, but it appears that these issues will never get resolved. It is time to move on!!! It is time for me to get the hell out of this town and move somewhere where people appreciate me for the person that I am. Anyway, back to the subject at hand, who am I? I am an honest, truthful, peaceful, kind, respectful, nature loving, and I am concerned about family. Family is very important to me, especially if you have one of your own. In my own family of origin, there is a dysfunctional form of behavior that I have to give directly to God. The so called friends as well as those women that I had been involved in relationships with, I have given all of this to God. It is God and Jesus Christ that I am totally giving all of these issues to. It is the Power of Prayer that changes things each day.

Prayer can directly change things for anyone who is willing to give all to God. I am also intelligent, studious, giving, an animal lover, and one who believe that animals and nature heals people. Just by spending time outside and allowing the rays of the sun to touch you each day, it has healing benefits. The environment itself as well as the animals inside of it, has a great deal of benefits. This is true because it is a whole lot better than relying on medication. This in itself will heal you to the point that it will sooth your soul. For those who refuse to understand me personally, nor take the time to fully understand me for the person that I am, it is your fault. This means that you had an agenda that was already different than mine. This means that you and I were never on a level playing field anyway. This applies to anyone as well as those who are literally player haters. This is the real truth!!! I am the type of the person who will tell you directly to your face how I feel about you.

No matter whether you like it or not, it is your choice. If another person’s opinion offends you, then I am really sorry. I am going to keep it totally real!!!! I am action minded and concerned about civil rights and liberties. I am also all about diversity and equality for everyone. I am also a person who is for women’s rights and the issues that they are concerned about. This is the truth because if a man respects his parents, then he will respect his female spouse or significant other. If a man is concerned about children as well as his own siblings, nieces, and nephews, then he is totally concerned about family. I am very sorry that I have been underestimated as a person, but this is not my fault.

This means that others had been jealous, discontent, and emotionally suppressed themselves. I am a person that will let everything out of my mouth. I will tell you how I feel no matter whether others like it or not. I have always been outspoken, opinionated, but not loquacious. I am a person who enjoys religious services. I am also a person who loves and respects culture. I respect diversity to the utmost!!! I enjoy reading, writing, using the computer, traveling, and spending time with the one’s that appreciates me fully. If anyone has a problem with me, I will listen to you directly in your face. I will also respect your opinion. I do not like to argue!!!! I will debate with you in a peaceful manner.

If a debate gets to out of hand, I will shake your hand, and tell you to have a nice day. I just find that people have never taken the time out to listen to me anyway. This is not my fault. This is the fault of the other person. This means that you are bearing emotional baggage from your past and present that you are not dealing with in a constructive manner. This applies to those who live inside of their own deceit. If you are deceptive and enjoy telling lies all of the time, then I will pray for you, but I have to leave. I cannot allow a person who has a corrupt way of living to disrupt my lifestyle and my way of living. I am a private person. I am also a person who does not take any mess from anyone. This means that your life is completely disrupted with chaos and disasters.

Your chaos and disasters is something that I am trying to avoid right now. I am a direct person who will go directly to the source as well as the horse’s mouth to deal with the problem. Therefore, it is time to keep it real because I am going to tell you how I truly feel. If women have a problem dealing with someone like me who is direct and straight to the point, then please stay your corrupt self away from me. I am keeping it real!!! This is who I am as a real person. This applies to both men and women who have a tendency to player hate and live inside of the past. I cannot live your life and mine simultaneously. Stay true to yourself and learn how to remove your head out of you, body and smell reality!!!! I am very bold and brave!!!! I am also one who will gain all of the facts to each and every story. Everyone will have to show me better than you can tell me!!!!!! I like to research and gain information because this is what I am.

 I am a researcher and a fact finder myself. I also like to tell others things well in advance before they get into their own troubles about life and its consequences. If you deal with consequences and repercussions, you cannot say that I did not tell you in advance!! Stay true and keep it real all right!!!! Let me be perfectly frank, I am not going to chase down a social animal because what you do is on you!!! I am a person who has a whole lot of common sense. I am a free thinker and one who will think about the things that I do long in advance. Always think before you act!!!

What does it mean to make amends with God and others?

            Hello Everyone!! I hope that everyone is having a good day today.  I would like to start this off by asking a very important question.  What does it mean to make amends with God and others?  An amends is when someone apologizes for a wrongdoing and change the behavior afterwards.  For instance, when a person commits a wrongdoing, a person is supposed to confer with God first and foremost.  Afterwards, repent for your sins and forgive yourself in the process.  Afterwards, you are supposed to apologize with anyone that you have done wrong to.  Saying I am sorry is really not enough.  You have to change your behavior for the better. 

 An example of this is when I told my family members about my brother’s problems, without asking him first.  Some would say that I am a backbiter or a two faced person.  I did not have any business telling my brother’s problems to others.  This is because my brother is getting ready to have a total of 4 children.  I have told him that selling drugs will not pay the bills.  He will have to get a job and keep it for the rest of his life. 

 To be honest, I do not have any children because I know that I can barely take care of myself.  Therefore, I would prefer not to have sex with any woman, until we get married.  I would prefer to have a friendship with everyone, man or woman.  This is what I am supposed to do for the rest of my life.  An amends is when you are supposed to admit to your mistake, ask for forgiveness, rectify the wrong, and eventually change the behavior.  It takes a very long time to modify a specific behavior, and change it for the better.  I know that in my case, my family members are not the forgiving type of people. 

 I have to ask God to intervene in this matter.  There are a few of my friends, who would rather not have anything to do with you.  When that happens, that is it and it is final with some people.  Some people do not know how to make amends with anyone, or with God the Father.  I also want to inform everyone that I have a brother right now that I really have not spoken to in 24 years.  It hurts me because he does not want anything to do with me.  It is his fault for calling me a female dog at my Great Grandmother’s funeral on August 19, 1994. 

 It hurts me because I have to be the better person by apologizing to my brother for fighting him.  He did not understand that my Great Grandmother raised me, while my mother was being treated for Post-Partum Depression.  It also hurt me when my own father died.  I was not notified about him or his death.  I asked my Aunt, where was I during the time my father died? 

 I am hurt and devastated because I have not had a chance to resolve any of my active issues with anyone.  Currently, I am puzzled because I have not had a chance to resolve any of my active issues with everyone in my personal life.  I have a cousin who fought me for 9 years.  I am not at the liberty of mentioning his name because of confidentiality issues.  We fought each other as children and teenagers over petty issues.  My biological father is his father’s cousin.  My best friend is really my cousin because our fathers were brothers.  My family members do not really know it.  My own biological father was a light skin man.  I thought my father was fair skinned just like me.  It is going to take God to help me to resolve all of my active issues with each other.  For the moment, my brothers and sisters are not speaking to each other right now.  Please pray for me and my family members because we are not speaking to each other anymore.  Thank you for reading my blog.

The Essence of Man, Woman, and Child!!

        This is an essay that pertains to the essence of man, woman, and child.  The definition of the word essence is the basic nature of something.  When we look at the basic nature of man, woman, and child; it is composed of the fleshly nature of being.  The fleshly nature of being consists of dust and clay.  The existence of mankind is derived from the earth.  This means that our existence is made up of the dust, clay, organs, cells, bones, as well as blood and plasma that comes from the composition of both parents. 

        Next, when it comes to my personal existence, my blood type is AB+.  This means that my father’s blood type is A, and my mother’s blood type is B+.  Therefore, when you put the two blood types together, you get AB+.  During the past 27 years, I used to donate plasma from 1983-2010.

 I used to earn money from donating my own plasma for money.  The money that I used to receive was nominal.  The definition of the word nominal means relatively very small.  This means that I did not earn very much.

        Moreover, when it comes to the makeup of our existence, an average person have a total of 610 muscles and 208 bones.  An average person has 23 chromosomes and the DNA structure that is derived from both parents.  According to 1^st Corinthians 11^th Chapter, it states that woman comes from man and man from woman.

 Both men and women are independent of each other.  However, woman comes from the womb of man; in Genesis 2^nd Chapter.  Whenever a child is born into this world, it has 46 chromosomes from both parents.  The blood type of the child varies.

 A chromosome is any of the microscopic rod shaped bodies carrying the genes.  A gene is any of the units of chromosomes by which heredity characteristics are transmitted. 

Further, I want to say that nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the Lord; this comes from 1^st Corinthians 11:11.  The two might be different, but both man and woman become one flesh.  According to Genesis 3:20, Eve is the mother of the living.  Adam is the father of mankind.  In modern times, a mother is the head of the household.  The father is the breadwinner.  In a single parent home, usually, the mother is the head of the household and is the breadwinner.

The essence of men, women, and children are very important when it comes to creation.  Currently, some children consider their father’s as a sperm donor.  This is an insult to the father himself.  It is up to both parents to raise their children.  There are times when parents would consider co-parenting. 

This is a process itself.  This means that an average child or children would spend time with both parents equally.  In most cases, children would prefer to spend most of their time with their mother. 

Finally, the essence of man, woman, and child is very important.  In my estimation, the creation itself is very important.  I know that it is very important for men, women, and children to get along with each other.  During the last days, things are going to get worse.  I understand that the essence of mankind is based on man’s existence on earth.  It is very important for everyone to relate well with each other and oblige each other as well.  I want to be perfectly honest with everyone, I have a total of 36 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.  I do not have any children because of an injury that I had sustained back in 1979.  I was playing football and I got speared inside of the breadbasket.

In Conclusion, my parents admonished me when I was growing up, and they eventually told me not to have any children.  I am not saying that it is too late for me to become a father, but God has other plans for me.  I know that the essence of man essay is very important to me as well as others that are involved in my life right now.  To be perfectly frank with everyone, man determines the sex of any children.  It varies according to the type of woman that man is connected with.  Everyone has to be very careful when it comes to making a child.  Thank you for reading my essay.

This is a special report concerning a very important issue. The question that we must ask ourselves is how do we control government spending and taxes? First, we must learn how to reduce the national debt. What is the national debt? It is debt that is owed to other nations that the United States has borrowed money from in the past. In most cases, the national debt that the United States has right now, has a lot to do with the amount of damages that we as a country has done during our conflicts with other nations. The national debt itself has a lot to do with the amount of money that is owed to citizens that was not collected in the past as well as monies that is owed to industries for mass production.

The national debt right now is well over three trillion dollars. This is very serious!!!! We as a nation have to find out what the United States owe to other countries officially as well as how much are we allowing other countries borrow from us and keep track of that as well. Other things that we need to take into account is the amount of programs that are available as well as any stimulus spending that has not been utilized at the present time.

The national debt has been a big topic of discussion for over 30 years. At this time, the national debt is an issue that will never get resolved. The economy has been over emphasized as a topic of discussion for so long that no has not done anything to resolve this problem. How do we solve this problem with the economy? The answers are right in front of us. We must first find out what are the things that we need to keep and take away as far as spending is concerned. Understand one thing; we are all impacted by this problem. I really think one thing that we can do at the moment is speak with our local, state, and national representatives to find out what is really being done to solve our social ills in society.

Second, the money that is spent on education is being dispersed in lump sum payments for rebuilding schools as well as maintaining athletic facilities. Are these funds being spent in a way that it satisfies everyone in need? Third, let’s look at stimulus spending projects for this fiscal year for a moment. Our cities infrastructure is crumbling at the moment. Where is the money for this as a project? How much money is being sent to each of the 50 states to repair its infrastructure? Hopefully, I am assuming at least 200,000,000 dollars or more for this massive repair project. How about repairing houses in inner city neighborhoods? Where is the money for neighborhood revitalization projects? I would think at least $100,000,000 dollars should go towards this as a means of improving neighborhoods.

At least it will improve the quality of life for everyone that lives inside of these neighborhoods. What about job creation for those who do not have jobs at the moment? There are over 20,000,000 million people right now that are out of work or who have lost their jobs within the past 6 months. There is a large increase of unemployment claims being filed each day. Where is the money for those who need it at the present time? At least try to decrease taxes by reducing the amount of money that is sent for overseas projects at the moment. Instead of sending billions of dollars to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and the rest of the middle east, please allocate these funds to the cities in the United States that really need them.

First, a needs assessment need to be performed to determine what items as far as spending that need to be addressed. For instance, we have to look at the reason why we as a nation is raising taxes and why are we hurting those who really need the help. An example of this is the programs that are available to assist those in need. Such as those that are benefitting the wealthy need to be reduced. There are resources that are utilized by the wealthy and members of the lower class that are used to assist them. All of this needs to be evaluated. By raising taxes for those that earn over $250,000 dollars per year still would not help.

It will cause an offset in taxes for the middle class and workers that earn less than $50,000 per year. We have to look at the amount of venues that are being built each year. This also causes an increase in excise taxes. These are taxes that are being used to tax everyone for construction projects such as new stadiums, arenas, new schools, houses, condominiums, and luxurious hotels. Another tax that has been over emphasized is the use of energy. The energy that is used for electricity, natural gas, and coal has increased dramatically since the year 2000. There has also been an increase in energy taxes because the demand has increased for electricity.

The cost of land use for annexation and rezoning in specific areas in the city, county, and state has also increased since 1990. This is because there are so many people that are losing their properties due to foreclosure and other active issues that it is even making things difficult for industries to pay their land taxes. Housing costs has changed because of the economic demand that has been placed on all Americans. This also applies to everyone worldwide. Let’s work on reducing taxes for everyone and assist everyone in need.

Could Someone Please tell me whether this is true?

            Hello! How are you doing today? Fine, I hope.  I have a very important question.  Could someone please tell me whether this is true?  I will admit that there are dysfunctional families worldwide.  It is that, in my case, I keep constantly arguing with my family members all of the time.  For instance, I want to tell all of you that I have a brother that I have not spoken to in over 24 years now.  This is simply because we got into a fist fight over the simple fact that he called me out of my name.  What he did not understand that my brother did not know that my great grandmother raised me from the time that I was a baby until I was 7 years old.  When it comes to my love life, I really did not have a love life.  This is because the women in my life took advantaged of me.  Even though I had worked during all of my relationships.  When I look at this picture, it reminds me of a dysfunctional relationship.  It reminds me of a couple who got finished arguing with each other.  Do you know that most couples argue over sex and finances?  I do not know why couples argue over sex and finances, but when it comes to these topics, it causes married couples to get a divorced.

            My problem consists of working to support the family.  I also want to inform all of you that I had to work 3 jobs in Charlotte, NC because the cost of living was a whole lot higher than Dayton, Ohio.  I know that there are family members rarely contact me; even during the time that I was involved in my relationships.  I want to inform all of you that I really love these blogs.  The word sin means to miss the mark.  We are born sinners.  I want to inform all of you to please keep me in your prayers because I am losing my eyesight.  This is the first time I have used borders in my blogs.  Anyway, when it comes to my own family, it is not very easy.  This is a way for me to make amends to God and myself.  I want to inform all of you that the definition above really makes sense. 

            Moreover, I want to inform all of you that I have come a very long way.  I want to inform everyone that I am guilty of starting a lot of stuff in the past.  I am just like my mother.  If I do not have anything nice to say to someone, I would rather say nothing to the next person.  I know that I have a lot of friends as well as family members.  It makes perfect sense for me to pray for someone who are arrogant and rude.  Before I went to the library this afternoon, there was a young man, who was pugnacious.

This is a special paper concerning politics and diversity.  First, what do we mean by politics?  The definition of politics is the activity and methods of a political party.  What are these activities that we are talking about?  We are talking about people who represent our state, city, or government.  We are talking about people that represent a specific group or cause that has a reflection on human behavior.  Second, these are members of government that are supposed to assist the people and for the people of America or a specified country or nation.  The people represent us as mayors of city council, senators, members of the House of Representatives, as well as other members of a diverse group that represent American Politics or Worldwide Global Communities.

Next, when it comes to American Politics, it is made up of 435 members of the House of Representatives and 100 U.S, Senators.  Today, the Republicans are the dominant party right now.  However, I want to inform all of you that the 2018 Midterm Elections are November 6, 2018.  Americans will be voting for members of the House of Representatives and half of the US Senators. 

Further, what is the definition of the word diversity? The definition of this word means a difference or a variety.  It is also a set of unlike characteristics having various forms or qualities.  The diversity here pertains to how many men and women who make up of the Political System in the United States.  Moreover, diversity is unique because it has an impact on its members.  An example of this are the issues that are being addressed that concerns the Citizens of the United States.  The rules and regulations that are enacted in Congress have a bearing on human behavior.  Politics and Diversity are intertwined.  I say this because actions that are politically driven are decided legislatively through a process called Majority Rule.

In Addition, a majority rule process when it pertains to bipartisanship does not work.  When there is a majority rule, it is not very easy to establish bipartisanship.  The bipartisanship is an agreement along party lines, but it has a yes or no to it.  Whereas a consensus is when all of the parties involved agree to resolve an issue together and everyone is completely satisfied at the end of their discussions.  When it pertains to majority rule in the political arena itself, this is a one complete party dominance.  This one party dominance usually last for a specified period of time.  This is true because there are elections after specific terms for each of our members of government.

Diversity in politics is very important.  I want to inform everyone that there are a group of people that represents race and culture as it pertains to politics.  For instance, there are more men in politics than women.  However, there is a majority and a minority culture when it comes to politics.  There are at least 13% African Americans in Congress and 80% Whites in Politics and another 11% Hispanics and Asians who are involved in US Politics.

If you really want to read your Bible you will. If you really want to spend time with God, you will. If you really want to be faithful in your finances, you will. If you really want to worship, and serve, and be sent, and grow as a disciple, you will. This desire to win inevitably leads to the discipline that’s required to win. You have to pay a price to be a winner, and discipline is the currency you need to pay that price. Discipline is what we need most in our life but want the least. At the end of the day, it is the difference between ability and achievement, between potential and the prize. I’ve never met anyone who was very successful in life that always did only what they pleased and only what they wanted to do. Zig Ziglar said, “When you do what you need to do, when you need to it, then you can do what you want to do when you want to do it.” Do you have a desire to win at life? Do you have the discipline it takes to stay committed and to keep running after what God has for you? My hope is that if you don’t, you would pray and ask the Lord to give you that desire and that discipline starting today. Dear Lord, I want to win at this life you’ve given me. I want to be successful by your standard. Give me the desire to be a winner and grant me the discipline necessary to persevere and to press on in pursuing what you have planned for me. Consensus Vs Majority Rule

This is a report on the differences between consensus and majority rule.  What is a consensus?  Let’s start off by asking ourselves what is an actual consensus?  A consensus is when everyone totally agrees on a specific issue or cause.  A consensus is officially decided when each and every person who is in a specific situation has finalized an agreement on certain things.  This is simply because it is a win-win situation.  This is a win-win situation because it makes everyone happy and satisfied.  Whereas a majority rule is voted and the person or persons who have the majority votes on a certain issue or cause, usually wins.  There are losers in a majority rule.  A majority rule here in the United States Political System does not work.  There are winners and losers.

 In the US Senate and House, politically speakers as well as officials will have to have a 60% majority to override a presidential veto as well as vote on a specific bill in Congress.  Bills and Laws are passed based on a majority rule.  Unfortunately, this is not working here in the United States.  A consensus form of government needs to be established here in the United States Political System.  There is too much fallout and issues when it pertains to a majority rule.  When it comes to these two subjects, it is very important to focus on what will actually work here in the United States.  An assessment must be made first and foremost to determine if a system of consensus would actually work here in the United States as well as in any body of government. 

At least with this in mind, it is very important to focus on compromise as well as learning how to listen to others.  Active listening is a skill that must be learned and mastered by everyone.  A consensus is not only a compromise, but an agreement that satisfies everyone and this is something that should be enacted here in the United States as well as in human relationships all together. Do you know if men and women who are involved in relationships should learn how to listen to each other instead of taking the other person’s side all of the time.  You do not have to submit to the authority of another simply because he or she is the dominant sex or the actual breadwinner in the household.

 This means that you will have to respect the opinion of others and not lash out because someone is telling their side of their own story.  This means that listening is extremely important.  Each person must learn to gain the main ideas of the subject and to fully understand what the other person is saying.  However, a majority rule only causes additional conflict and pain.  This means that there are more people or another person has more information than you.  This means that you are not gaining any additional facts pertaining to your subject on your own.  This means that if another person has tangible evidence that is used against you or can override your decision in any way, this means that you had stolen your information that you had gained against another.

  Just because someone’s social economical status is different than yours, does not mean that you are supposed to yield to them.  You must be yourself regardless of your situation.  Stand up for what is right for you.  Just because someone is earning more money than you, does not give them power or dominion over you. 

This means that if someone is gaining additional information from you, through methods of theft by deception, this means that they are dishonest in their efforts to obtain their own information.  Just remember, theft by deception is a very serious crime.  I can prove what I have as evidence.  Whereas, those who are stealing your personal information by this form of practice are dishonest people and deceptive individuals.  I would like to add that computer hacking, which I call safecracking is a serious crime.  I am talking to those who are personally hacking and stealing others personal information for a living.  If you are personally enjoying wrecking the lives of those who are trying to have an honest living, then you should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.  This means that you need to be incarcerated for the rest of your lives.  I am personally talking to everyone who is a safecrackers and using others information for their own personal gain.  This is also a call for all of those that are involved in any criminal activities to stop it immediately.

 This applies to men, women, and children.  This is very serious!!!!  I am saying this because there are those who I know personally who are involved in crimes at the present, to please turn yourselves into the authorities right now.  You are only making things worse for your own selves.  Remember, a consensus form of government will work a whole lot better than majority rule.  This is the truth because our government is involved in a total gridlock of boggled up minds and those who are holding political positions are having a hard time making an agreement on things.  Also, those who continue to judge others based on reputation alone instead of meeting with them face to face, I am talking directly to you as well.  If one person has a problem with another, confront them face to face and resolve the problem in a constructive manner.  This means having a positive end to a dreadful conflict or mild argument.

 Therefore, I am talking to all of those who are disgruntled and do not have a life of their own, and living inside of the gossip of others, I am talking directly to you as well.  Get a life of your own!!!!  Stop listening to another person’s story that it causes a disruption in your own life.  You need to examine your own self!!!!  Stop listening to hearsay and deal with your own personal baggage!!!!  I am speaking directly to those who enjoy judging others instead of meeting them face to face and confronting them about the problem or issue yourself.  Stop telling others what they need when you do not have your own house in order!!!!  Please keep your mouth shut if you have something negative to say about others all of the time.  Remember we are grown people and not children.  If you want to play on the school grounds by yourself and act like a child, please be my guest.  You will be right by yourself. This applies to all of the individuals who I have had issues with in the North Carolina and Ohio during the past 3 years.  It is time for all of us to talk!!!

What is the difference between a sin and a transgression?

        This is a comparison and contrast paper that compares two definitions.  The first word is sin and the second is transgression.  What is the definition of the word sin? A sin is an immoral act that goes against divine law.  Whereas, a transgression is an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct; an offense. 

        Next, when we think of a sin, it has a lot to do with wrong doings in a person’s life.  A transgression is when a person does something wrong intentionally.  When we think of a transgression, this is something that is done with or without malice.  The definition of the word malice is the intention or desire to do something evil.

        Moreover, in some cases, a transgression is an intentional act or action on the part of a person, place, or thing.  Sin itself is an intentional act as well.  There are times when people do things without thinking.  For example, on May 30, 1973, I had taken my first drink of alcohol.  My mother told me and my siblings to stay away from the refrigerator.  Instead, I opened the refrigerator anyway just to see what was inside of it.  As soon as I opened the refrigerator door, I saw my mother’s Miller’s Beer. 

        Afterwards, I opened a can of beer.  I had taken one sip of beer, and I was intoxicated.  I didn’t like it; I acquired a taste for it.  As soon as my mother got home from the Club, she asked all of us in a sarcastic manner; who had drunk a can of her beer?  I flat out denied it!!  She smelled my breath, and she smacked me in my face.  She told all of us to stay away from the refrigerator, but I had other intentions.  Therefore, I had become an alcoholic; simply because of curiosity. 

        Eventually, my stepfather took me to the Club with him.  I met all of my mother and stepfather’s friends at the Club.  I was around grown people anyway.  When it comes to sins and transgressions, I have had my share of them.  From 1972 to 2015, I have had 43 years of troubles.  I have done so much in my life that my own family members do not talk to me anymore.

Anyway, the difference between a son and a transgression is that both of them are bad.  On the other hand; the intentions of sins and transgressions tend to vary according to behavioral action.  There are times when people do things without thinking about the consequences of their actions.  In my case, I ended up joining street gangs, smoking cigarettes and marijuana at the age of 9.  I ended up getting into trouble at school because I was hanging around the wrong crowd.  When it comes to a sin and a transgression, we must look at the Bible.

In the Bible, it states that our sins has separated us from God.  However, I want to inform everyone that God is merciful and just.  He is slow to anger and abounding in mercy.  I want to say that God has been good to me for the past 53 years.  Even though, I have made a lot of mistakes during a 45 year period.  God has given me a second chance at life.  I am very happy that I have made amends with my mother and my siblings.  I want to say that I am a whole lot happier right now than I was when I was in the streets.

        God is good!!  Please give Him a chance!! I had given Him a chance to be involved in my life.  Currently, I am attending church on a regular basis.  I am also reading the Bible, sharing the Good News with others, and making amends with everyone that I have wronged in my life.  I have even made amends with all of my enemies.  Thank you for reading my essay.

What is the Difference between Grace Vs Mercy?

        This is a comparison and contrast essay that is based on the definition of two words.  The first word is grace and the second is mercy.  The definition of the word grace is good will or favor.  When it comes to grace, the Lord always shows us good will and favor when it comes to all of us.  Whereas, the definition of the word mercy is refraining from harming others.  It also means showing kind or compassionate treatment.  It also means the power to forgive.

        When it comes to the Lord God; He always shows everyone compassion and understanding towards us.  I remember when I was a high school student, I became truant and missed over half of the 1981-82 school year.

       The reason why I became truant was because I was involved in street gangs and I also smoked marijuana.  During that time, I had to appear in court for not attending school.  The Juvenile Court Judge stated to me in my face that anytime a person does not go to school, they are considered as crazy!

        Moreover, I want to inform everyone that I managed to change my ways by attending Job Corps in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The Juvenile Court Judge gave me a second chance.  I will admit that I was a B+ to C average student in school.  I exceeded my expectations by graduating from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio in 1993 and 1995 respectively.  It was not very easy, however, I did very well.       I want everyone to know that in spite of my pass mistakes,     God had never left me nor forsaken me.

Definition of God’s Grace – How do theologians define it? “What is grace? In the New Testament grace means God’s love in action towards men who merited the opposite of love. Grace means God moving heaven and earth to save sinners who could not lift a finger to save themselves. Grace means God sending His only Son to descend into hell on the cross so that we guilty ones might be reconciled to God and received into heaven. ‘(God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him’”

He was there every step of the way.  I will admit to making a lot of mistakes in high school from 1979 to 1983.  Therefore, I graduated from high school at the age of 20 years old.  I was one of the oldest high school students to receive a high school diploma at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Dayton, Ohio.  My graduation class had over 300 students. 

        In Addition, I want to inform everyone that I am a 53 year old man who have a lot of common sense.  I am a person who has learned from all of my mistakes.  I want to be honest with everyone that God has shown me both grace and mercy during my 53 years of existence.

         I also want to give credit to Judge McCullough for giving me a second chance at life.  I want to thank her for being lenient but firm on me.  I have admitted guilt for the crimes that I have committed in the past.  I want to also thank countless of others for seeing the potential in me.  I want to thank everyone in the Charlotte, NC and Toledo, OH for helping me to shine when I need to.

        Further, I want to thank everyone at the University of Toledo for allowing me to enroll in college; in spite of my bad grades in high school.  I also want to thank everyone at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for allowing me to work at the J Murray Atkins Library for 8 straight years.  I want to thank everyone that God have placed in my life because they have seen great potential in me.  It is God that is doing for me more than I am doing for myself.

        Finally, I want to say that grace and mercy goes hand in hand with me personally.  I thank Jesus Christ for being the Lord in my life right now.  I will admit that I have been baptized 9 times within the past 20 years.  I had dedicated my life to Jesus Christ on February 15, 2015.  I am very happy to be born again.  I owe it to my personal Savior Jesus Christ and many others for helping me along in my journey to success.  I want to say that Grace and Mercy is very serious when it comes to God.  I always take my life serious when it comes to God’s grace and mercy.
