This is an essay that is based on the encouragement for the troubled heart. First, let me inform everyone that whenever a person has a troubled heart, it is either a broken spirit or a form of depression. There are times as human beings that we might suppress our feelings. Therefore, there are times that we do not allow others to enter our personal space. The only person who is able to comfort us is Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Second, I have a very important question to ask everyone right now. Who comforts us in our afflictions? The answer is Jesus Christ. This is the reason why I trust Him on a daily basis for everything in my personal life. We should trust Jesus Christ, who has died for the sins of mankind. There are times when there is strength inside of our weaknesses. God is by nature an encourager. He uplifts us and we should take advantage of it.
Third, I want to inform everyone that there is a real need to talk to our heavenly Father. God feels exactly what we all our going through. God wants us to talk to Him about all of our problems. He also wants us to praise Him as well. Whenever, I read the Bible, it enlightens me personally. God talks to all of us through His word. There are also times when the Bible is an implication of my daily walk with Him. God also reveals Himself to all of us in prayer. He also seals our heart, and helps us. You cannot beat talking to Jesus Christ. Fourth, when it comes to the word of God; He
searches our heart and spirit. I want to tell everyone that my heart and spirit has been revived. God is a good God. He encourages us in all of our afflictions. He is always available 24 hours per day. God is forever unending because He is always there for us. This reminds me of the footprints inside of the sand poem. He is always strive with us. He is there to comfort us. God enjoys building into our lives by encouraging us; so that we can encourage someone else. We must learn how to get out of our own self-pity. God enables us by being there for us. We just need to take the initiative to be there for others. We cannot allow sin to overwhelm us.
Fifth, we always hear God speaking to us. Being thankful is a learned behavior. It does not matter how far we are in despair, God and His son is always there for us. He is there to rescue us. The Holy Spirit will be able to help us in our time of need. Finally, it begins with the very first step by asking God to save us. We have to allow Him to speak to our heart. There is someone who will pull you out of the grips of stress and despair. Jesus Christ will help you. God also uses others to encourage us in our time of need. God knows what we are all about personally. He always keeps His promises.
This is an essay that will ask a very important question. What does it mean to examine our ways and heart? This is a plan for repentance and renewal. Turn Back!! Repentance in the Old Testament prophets is often expressed by the verb To Turn!! Lift our hearts and hands: Lifting hands was a common posture in prayer.
According to Lamentations 5:21: The one word turn can summarize God’s message to His rebellious people. In one of Jeremiah’s earlier messages, he had exhorted the people to turn to God no less than seven times. Return means to “Return” to God in faith.
When it comes to repentance, I have to completely stop what I had done wrong, and give it to the Lord God. The definition of the word repent means to turn back. As it pertains to the topic of discussion, this gives us an opportunity to examine carefully who we are in the eyes of God. It also enables us to write down on paper all of our positive and negative things about ourselves. We have to speak with the Lord privately first and foremost. Before we seek wise counsel with others, we first must confess our sins to the Lord.
Next, in this case, this means that everything that we did wrong in our personal life, we ask God to forgive us. As far as our ways and heart is concerned, we must take a real long look at ourselves. Do you really like what you see? This is a question that we really need to ask ourselves right now. For instance, in my case, I tend to ask myself this same question every single day. I have a lot of health issues right now. I am taking 22 prescription medications that I am currently taking is Remron, Prozac, Vistaril, Trilafon, and Phenobarbital. I have been taking these medications for over 20 years now.
Further, I currently take these medications for seizures and depression. How do you feel about yourself right now? I feel pretty good about my outlook on life, and my overall behavior as completely changed since taking the medications. In Step 10 in Alcoholics Anonymous states that we continue to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
We review our day at its entirety. Do we have to make amends with anyone else or God? Sometimes the answer to this question is yes. For me personally, I have to examine all of my character defects and disclose them with God or with my A.A. Sponsor. Right now, I have to write an essay each day of the week just to cope with a mental illness. I have to pray and read the Bible each day of the week.
When we examine our ways, we look at every little thing that makes us tick. For Example, we focus on having an intimate relationship with God. Are you ready to have an intimate relationship with God?
The definition of the word examine means to look at carefully. I am the type of person who is very intelligent, nice, kind, polite, patient, considerate, warm, brave, clean, and meticulous.
Finally, we are ready to have an intimate relationship with God by confessing our sins to Him!
As soon as I say that I am ready to do your will Lord. First, I must confess all of my sins to the Lord God. I might even write them down on a piece of paper and tell God exactly what is burdening me. Also, one thing that I can say is that I feel much better when it comes to releasing all of my negative energy to Him. I also ask Him what he wants me to do right now and in the future. I ask the Lord to please let me hear His voice. God already know the things that you need long before you ask Him. He will supply all of your needs.
Are you glad that we serve an understanding God? I am glad that I serve Him for myself. Please continue to pray for me each day because I suffer from glaucoma and cataracts as well.
Is there anything too hard for God? By Anthony Joseph Hopkins June 12, 2021
Is there anything too hard for God? The answer is no!! I want to inform all of you that it is mankind who makes things too hard for themselves. Jeremiah was asked by God whether anything was too hard for Him? The answer again is no. When it comes to people, we tend to complicate things all of the time.
I just had a disagreement with a fellow female Christian woman. I want to say that this is a frivolous matter because she stated that she wanted to buy my book, but subsequently, she changed her mind because she felt that the book might get stolen from the female shelter. I want to say to this young lady that I am very sorry if she felt compelled to buy the book. I was only giving it away. Meanwhile, there is nothing too hard for God.
Currently, I am not upset. I am just disappointed that I had to lose a friend over a misunderstanding. If someone is giving me something from their heart, that means that they want you to really have it. Is there anything too hard for God, the answer is no. Jeremiah did not respond to God because he knew for himself that there is nothing too hard for God.
Next, in this set of Bible verses, Sarah laughed at God because He told Sarah that she was going to have a baby in her old age of 90. Abraham and Sarah became parents because God said so. God is only looking out for our best interest. Sarah had a son named Isaac. Jeremiah did what God told him to do by warning the people in his time that God was going to destroy Judah.
Jeremiah was called the Weeping Prophet because he cried out to the people. Jeremiah did not want anyone to perish. Unlike Jeremiah and Sarah, God asked both of them a very important question. Is there anything to hard for Him? The answer to this question is no.
Deuteronomy 22:5: And What It Means to All People!! By Anthony Joseph Hopkins October 29, 2020
This is an essay that is pertaining to one Bible verse. The Bible verse is Deuteronomy 22:5: Says A Woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a Man put on Women’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. I personally understand that it is the 21st Century. It is that men and women are not reading the Bible.
Next, this Bible verse is very simple. A man is not supposed to wear anything that belongs to a woman, and a woman is not supposed to wear anything that belongs to a man. This is the reason why there is something called unisex.
21st Century
Today, Women are wearing Men’s clothes and shoes today. I have noticed that mean is getting sex change operations. Men are dating other men, whereas, Women are dating each other.
Further, less than 10% of the United States Population are transsexuals. In Addition, Men and Women are dating the same sex.
I have selected this topic because we are living in the Last Days Worldwide: according to the Bible. During the President Obama Administration, the United States Supreme Court approved of same sex unions in the United States. The Supreme Court has been biased when it comes to their decision-making processes.
Moreover, during the past 30 years, textile industries have been making unisex clothes. There are certain things, or customs that are socially acceptable for both men and women today. I want to inform everyone that when it comes to outer apparel, companies are making coats and jackets for both men and women. I even know that it seems like our society has accepted a same sex agenda.
In Addition, I want to say that certain equipment that we use for general purposes are now unisex equipment. When it comes to Deuteronomy 22:5, this Bible verse is being ignored today. I say this because people are doing exactly what their hearts desired.
Furthermore, I want to say that everything has changed so much that it is leading to a state of demoralization right now. To be honest, I really think that the same sex agenda should be abolished in the United States.
Finally, I want to inform all of you that everyone should read this Bible verse. This is the reason for the Torah. The Torah means Mosaic Laws. The Laws from the Old Testament in the Bible. The Bible verse that I am talking about is simple. Men should practice things that pertains to men, and women should practice things that are feasible for women. We have to learn how to be transparent in our behavior and actions.
This is an essay that will focus on the importance of how long man will live. I would like to start things off by asking a question. Is it true that God knows how long we will live? The answer to this question is not very easy to respond. However, according to Psalms 139:16 it says your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed. And in your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Next, I did not know that God knows how long we are going to live according to His word. This is very unusual because I thought that if we take care of ourselves and modify our lifestyle, we can live long on earth. Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the plans that I have toward you. Plans to prosper and a purpose. Some translations states that for I knows the thoughts that I have towards you, plans to prosper and a purpose. I really did not take things seriously regarding my life until May 2, 1990. I started praying to God for a complete change in my personal life.
Further, I want to inform all of you that it was not very easy for me growing up in Dayton, Ohio. This is because I used to get beaten up by my sister, and other kids in school. I know that I fought everyone for 28 years. I even fought myself. I just did not realize that the Bible has over 6,000 promises that are very true. Anyway, I did not even know that God knows when we are going to see Him personally.
Psalms 56:8 says; You number my wanderings, put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in your book? This means that God knows exactly what we are doing at all times. This also means that God knows where we are going and when we rise in the morning. He even knows the people that we are going to be with today. God even knows so much about us that we cannot even understand it. Job 27:3 says; As long as my breath is in me, and the breath of God in my nostrils. Honestly, the things that we have as far as possessions are concerned, are worldly. The air that we breathe does not belong to us. God Bless You!! Thank You for reading my essay.
Proverbs 23: 13-14: And What it means to All People!! By Anthony Joseph Hopkins November 4, 2021
Are we supposed to use a rod to punish a child? A rod is a metal object that is used in construction. A rod is a thin straight bar especially that is made up of wood or metal. When it comes to disciplining a child, a belt is used. According to WHIO TV Channel 7 in Dayton, Ohio. On Thursday October 28. 2021, a father of a ten-year-old child was sentenced to 51 years in prison for killing his son.
The mother and friend of the family received prison sentences for participating in the crime. Recently, another child was beaten 200 times with a belt in Springfield, Ohio. A Biblical example comes from Proverbs 23:13. This Bible verse says Do not withhold correction from a child for if you beat him with a rod he will not die. I guess the two examples of the incidents in the State of Ohio proves that the parents took things too far.
Next, when it comes to these Bible verses, the parents did not exercise better judgment. Another example of violence took place in Hamilton, Ohio. A parent of a 6-year-old boy killed her son by dragging him with her car. She attempted to give the child to the authorities prior to killing him, and throwing his body inside of the Ohio River. Proverbs 23:14 says You shall beat him or her with a rod because you are delivering his or her soul from hell. Is this a true statement? Some parents are taking his too far.
Proverbs 20:11 says Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. This Bible verse is true. I say this because a child learns how to sin from watching their parents. When it comes to Proverbs 23:13-14, parents will have to exercise self-control. In 2021 standards, some parents consider their children as their best friend.
Teach us, Lord, to walk in the light of your Word and with due regard to our circumstances. Circumstances are not an excuse to compromise your truths, we know, but they will affect how we apply those truths in a specific instance. Give us the wisdom to see what you would have us to do in each situation and the courage to do it. Amen.
1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”
4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed
9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written: “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name.”
10 Again, it says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”
11 And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol him.”
12 And again, Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope.”
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Paul the Minister to the Gentiles
14 I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another.
15 Yet I have written you quite boldly on some points to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me
16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
17 Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.
18 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—
19 by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.
20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.
21 Rather, as it is written: “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”
22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.
Paul’s Plan to Visit Rome
23 But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to visit you,
24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to see you while passing through and to have you assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while.
25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the Lord’s people there.
26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem.
27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.
28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this contribution, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way.
29 I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.
30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.
31 Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there,
32 so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
Directions how to behave towards the weak. (1-7) All to receive one another as brethren. (8-13) The writing and preaching of the apostle. (14-21) His purposed journeys. (22-29) He requests their prayers. (30-33)
Verses 1-7 Christian liberty was allowed, not for our pleasure, but for the glory of God, and the good of others. We must please our neighbour, for the good of his soul; not by serving his wicked will, and humouring him in a sinful way; if we thus seek to please men, we are not the servants of Christ. Christ’s whole life was a self-denying, self-displeasing life. And he is the most advanced Christian, who is the most conformed to Christ. Considering his spotless purity and holiness, nothing could be more contrary to him, than to be made sin and a curse for us, and to have the reproaches of God fall upon him; the just for the unjust. He bore the guilt of sin, and the curse for it; we are only called to bear a little of the trouble of it. He bore the presumptuous sins of the wicked; we are called only to bear the failings of the weak. And should not we be humble, self-denying, and ready to consider one another, who are members one of another? The Scriptures are written for our use and benefit, as much as for those to whom they were first given. Those are most learned who are most mighty in the Scriptures. That comfort which springs from the word of God, is the surest and sweetest, and the greatest stay to hope. The Spirit as a Comforter, is the earnest of our inheritance. This like-mindedness must be according to the precept of Christ, according to his pattern and example. It is the gift of God; and a precious gift it is, for which we must earnestly seek unto him. Our Divine Master invites his disciples, and encourages them by showing himself as meek and lowly in spirit. The same disposition ought to mark the conduct of his servants, especially of the strong towards the weak. The great end in all our actions must be, that God may be glorified; nothing more forwards this, than the mutual love and kindness of those who profess religion. Those that agree in Christ may well agree among themselves.
Verses 8-13 Christ fulfilled the prophecies and promises relating to the Jews, and the Gentile converts could have no excuse for despising them. The Gentiles, being brought into the church, are companions in patience and tribulation. They should praise God. Calling upon all the nations to praise the Lord, shows that they shall have knowledge of him. We shall never seek to Christ till we trust in him. And the whole plan of redemption is suited to reconcile us to one another, as well as to our gracious God, so that an abiding hope of eternal life, through the sanctifying and comforting power of the Holy Spirit, may be attained. Our own power will never reach this; therefore where this hope is, and is abounding, the blessed Spirit must have all the glory. “All joy and peace;” all sorts of true joy and peace, so as to suppress doubts and fears, through the powerful working of the Holy Spirit.
Verses 14-21 The apostle was persuaded that the Roman Christians were filled with a kind and affectionate spirit, as well as with knowledge. He had written to remind them of their duties and their dangers, because God had appointed him the minister of Christ to the Gentiles. Paul preached to them; but what made them sacrifices to God, was, their sanctification; not his work, but the work of the Holy Ghost: unholy things can never be pleasing to the holy God. The conversion of souls pertains unto God; therefore it is the matter of Paul’s glorying, not the things of the flesh. But though a great preacher, he could not make one soul obedient, further than the Spirit of God accompanied his labours. He principally sought the good of those that sat in darkness. Whatever good we do, it is Christ who does it by us.
Verses 22-29 The apostle sought the things of Christ more than his own will, and would not leave his work of planting churches to go to Rome. It concerns all to do that first which is most needful. We must not take it ill if our friends prefer work which is pleasing to God, before visits and compliments, which may please us. It is justly expected from all Christians, that they should promote every good work, especially that blessed work, the conversion of souls. Christian society is a heaven upon earth, an earnest of our gathering together unto Christ at the great day. Yet it is but partial, compared with our communion with Christ; for that only will satisfy the soul. The apostle was going to Jerusalem, as the messenger of charity. God loves a cheerful giver. Every thing that passes between Christians should be a proof and instance of the union they have in Jesus Christ. The Gentiles received the gospel of salvation from the Jews; therefore were bound to minister to them in what was needed for the body. Concerning what he expected from them he speaks doubtfully; but concerning what he expected from God he speaks confidently. We cannot expect too little from man, nor too much from God. And how delightful and advantageous it is to have the gospel with the fulness of its blessings! What wonderful and happy effects does it produce, when attended with the power of the Spirit!
Verses 30-33 Let us learn to value the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous. How careful should we be, lest we forfeit our interest in the love and prayers of God’s praying people! If we have experienced the Spirit’s love, let us not be wanting in this office of kindness for others. Those that would prevail in prayer, must strive in prayer. Those who beg the prayers of others, must not neglect to pray for themselves. And though Christ knows our state and wants perfectly, he will know them from us. As God must be sought, for restraining the ill-will of our enemies, so also for preserving and increasing the good-will of our friends. All our joy depends upon the will of God. Let us be earnest in prayer with and for each other, that for Christ’s sake, and by the love of the Holy Spirit, great blessings may come upon the souls of Christians, and the labours of ministers.
The apostle in this chapter pursues his exhortation to mutual affection and forbearance, notwithstanding their different sentiments about the use of meats, and observation of days; excuses his writing so freely to them, which they might bear with, in consideration of his being an apostle, especially an apostle of the Gentiles, and which office he magnified and fulfilled everywhere; gives them the reasons why he had not as yet been with them though he greatly desired it, encourages them to expect, a visit from him; and concludes with earnestly entreating them that he might have a share in their prayers: and first, as an inference from what he had said in the preceding chapter, he lays it down as a duty incumbent on himself, and all that were strong in the doctrine of Christian liberty, to bear with the infirmities of weak Christians, and not please themselves, but others, Ro 15:1, which he enforces, from the usefulness of it, it being for the good and edification of others, Ro 15:2, and from the example of Christ, who pleased not himself, Ro 15:3, and which is proved from a passage of Scripture in Ps 69:9, the pertinency of which passage, and the citation and application of it to Christ and the present case, are vindicated from this consideration, that whatever was written in former times, was for the use of the saints under the Gospel dispensation, Ro 15:4, and that the exhortation might have its effect upon them, be puts up a prayer to God for them, that such a temper of mind might be in them, which would be for the glory of God, Ro 15:5,6, and then he repeats his exhortation, Ro 15:7, that they would affectionately receive one another; which he urges by the example of Christ, who had received them to the glory of God; and that they might glorify him, and this was one way of doing it: and that this argument might have the greater weight with both parties, he observes, that Jesus Christ had a special regard to the Jews, and was their minister, sent unto them to fulfil the promises made unto their fathers, and had received them; and therefore though they were weak, they were not to be despised, grieved, and offended, Ro 15:8, and as for the Gentiles, it was a clear case that God had had long ago a design of mercy to them, and that they were to be, and were now received by Christ, and so under obligation to glorify God for his mercy; and therefore not to be judged and condemned, though they did not conform to the ceremonial law; and this he proves in Ro 15:9-12, from several passages of Scripture in \Ps 18:49 De 32:43 Ps 117:1\ Isa 11:10, and closes this argument he had so long insisted on with a prayer to God for them, that they might be in the exercise of faith and hope; and, in the exercise of those graces, be filled with joy and peace, Ro 15:13, and in order to prevent an objection that might be made to these prayers and exhortations of his, that they suggested that they were wicked and ignorant men, devoid of affection, and knew not how to behave to each other, nor to exhort one another, the apostle softens such a resentment, by calling them brethren, and by expressing his persuasion of their abundant goodness, knowledge, and abilities, Ro 15:14, and excuses the freedom he took with them by observing, that he only acted the part of a monitor, Ro 15:15, and the rather this freedom might be allowed him, on account of the great gifts bestowed upon him, qualifying him to be an apostle of Christ; and especially as he was an apostle of the Gentiles and so their apostle, Ro 15:16, and on account of his office, gifts, and usefulness, he had reason to glory; though through Christ only, and in things relating to God, and not himself, Ro 15:17, when he takes an occasion to enlarge on his ministry, and magnify his office; partly from the end and success of it, bringing the Gentiles to the obedience of Christ, Ro 15:18, and partly from the means and causes of such success the preaching of the word, working miracles, and the power of the Holy Ghost; and from the extent of it, reaching from Jerusalem to Illyricum, Ro 15:19, and from the difficulty which attended it, he preaching in places where the Gospel was never preached before, and which he chose to do, Ro 15:20, and which was necessary to be done, according to a prophecy in Isa 52:15, which he cites, Ro 15:21, and observes, that it was his preaching in these many and distant parts that was the reason of his not having been with the saints at Rome, Ro 15:22, but now gives them reason to expect his coming; partly because he had finished his travels in those countries, and partly because of the vehement desire he had to see them, Ro 15:23, and besides, an opportunity seemed to be offering, he intending to take a journey to Spain, when it would lie in his way to come to Rome, and be for his advantage, Ro 15:24, in the mean while he informs them what he was engaged in, to carry the contribution of the Macedonian and Asian churches to Jerusalem, for the poor saints there, Ro 15:25, on which contributions he enlarges, showing not only who made them, and for whom, but the source and spring of them, they arose from their good will and pleasure, Ro 15:26, and yet they were debtors, and under obligation to do what they did; it was but a piece of justice and equity, since those churches had received of the spiritual things of the Jews, Ro 15:27, and as for his coming to them, he acquaints them of the time that it would be, when he had finished the above service and labour of love, and when he should come into Spain, as he had before signified, Ro 15:28, and of the manner in which he should come, of which he was fully persuaded, as that it would be with the fulness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ, Ro 15:29, and then with great importunity desires them to pray for him, and that very earnestly, Ro 15:30, particularly that he might be delivered from his enemies in Judea, and that the saints there would accept of what he brought them from the Gentiles, Ro 15:31, and that, if it was the will of God, he might come to them and be refreshed with them, Ro 15:32, and then closes the chapter with a salutation of them, or a wish that the God of peace might be with them, Ro 15:33.
Does the Lord direct our steps? The answer to this question is yes. The Lord God makes it possible for all of us to walk, talk, and breathe His air. This is because the air that we breathe each day does not belong to us. If a man’s steps are of the Lord, how come man’s immortality rates are higher than child birth? When it comes to man, God is always there to help him. Although man’s sense of direction is questionable.
I say this because man cannot do everything all by himself. This is the reason why man needs a mediator between him and God. If you want know the truth, we are all holding onto God’s right hand. I have another question. Is it true that man does not know his own way? This is a question for someone who has a Theology Degree to answer. John 3:27 says John answered and said A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. Therefore, all things are given to man in advance.
Do you know that man uses 50% of his own efforts when it comes to God? Yet, man is exhausted and tired after completing a task that God has for him. I am a man myself, and I will not be able to understand God like some of us. According to Isaiah 55:8 says My thoughts are higher than your thoughts and My ways are higher than your ways. man, himself was created by God while inside of our mother’s womb.
Another question that I have to ask. Does God really want man to understand him? In order for man to understand God, he must submit to His will. Will man ever get an opportunity to understand God? Is it true that we have to submit to God’s will in order to understand him? Is there a middle ground? The answer to this question is no. I only write blogs and essays just to cope with a mental illness.
It is not too late to ask God for wisdom and knowledge. God has granted me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change. Please give me the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Just for today!! I only wanted to fully understand God, but that is impossible. I have submitted to His will on February 15, 2015. For the past eight years I have yielded to God myself. I have to put Him first in my life.
Ephesians 5:1-2: And What It Means to All People!! By Anthony Joseph Hopkins October 31, 2020
Praise the Lord Saints!! Praise the Lord Everyone!! How are all of you doing today? Fine, I hope. I would like to start this essay off by asking a very important question. How do you go by becoming an imitator of Jesus Christ? I am asking this question because I had to learn how to become an imitator of Jesus Christ from being around my mother, grandmothers, aunt, and from my grandfather.
Next, I want to say to everyone that I really need your prayers right now. I want to be transparent by saying that I had to start all over again. This is because I am a hoarder; I am a very lazy person. I also want to say that my apartment is very messy. I have been very generous to everyone else except myself.
Furthermore, I also want to say is that I help others more than myself. I realize that right now that the money that we earn each month does not belong to us. Our money belongs to God. The air that we breathe out of our mouth does not belong to us. According to Psalm 144:4 says: Man is like a breath. His days is like a passing shadow.
How do we learn to become imitators of Jesus Christ as dear children? First, we have to make an honest omission and confession to God, to ourselves, and to others. We have to let go and let God. We have to give God an opportunity to work in our lives. I will admit that I hear voices that others do not hear. These voices are not the Holy Spirit. I listen to secular music from Mary J. Blige because it soothes me from hearing the voices.
Frankly, I suffer from a mental illness called schizoid affective disorder. This means that I suffer from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder at the same time. I do not want to be labeled as a double minded person. I have been listening to church sermons rather than secular music. I am very overwhelmed by the voices that I hear that other people do not hear.
I am completely ready to submit to God. I have to learn how to take salvation very seriously. Another Example, is that my neighbors, who live inside of my apartment building play loud music all night long. They also drink alcohol, and smoke marijuana. I have been living inside of my apartment for almost 10 years now.
In Addition, I attend Fort McKinley United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio. I have been a member of the church for almost 6 years now. I am a Christian man. I am confessing my faults and trespasses to everyone. My neighbors keep me up all night by playing loud music. They smoke cigarettes inside of the hallway inside of my apartment building. It bothers me because I suffer from asthma right now.
Finally, I still have a question to ask. How do you really deal with very difficult people? My neighbors, who live on my floor are very apathetic. I really need help this time around because I am trying my best to stay out of trouble. Thank you for understanding me as a person. I have been praying to God about my personal problems but God does not hear me because I am viewed as a sinner myself.
