Good Day Everyone!! I have a very important question to ask all of you. Why People are the way they are today? The answer is the times are changing. I am beginning to realize that we live in a changing society. For Example, people who comes from dysfunctional families go through changes more than others who come from non-dysfunctional families. I understand that our personalities are formed while we are inside of the womb of our mothers.
Next, I want to say that my life has changed dramatically because I am thinking for myself. Today, one of my family members got very unhappy with me because I did not call her on a daily basis. Why people are the way they are is because of a shift in behavior, and authority. I am saying all of this is because I have been taking 24 prescription medications, and I have been sleeping a whole lot. I take a medication called Ativan, and this medication makes a person very tired and sluggish.
Further, I want to say that our expectations have changed. He who is without sin, cast the first stone. This is a Bible verse that has a lot of meaning. Why are people acting the way they are is because of a changing society. For Instance, our problems tend to get the best of us. Why people are behaving in a way that is different than the average person, has a lot to do with the violence that occurs inside of our society. I know that for me, I ask God to follow me everywhere I go. I ask the Lord to help those who are worse off than me.
Moreover, why are people the way they are is simply because of our tremendous burdens that we carry for ourselves? I know that our communities are changing. People are changing. Feelings are changing. I will admit that I used to carry a lot of burdens on myself. God has been responsible for changing behaviorally for the better. The Lord loves all of us. We just need to cast our burdens.
Finally, I am asking this question again. Why people are the way they are? I really do not know, but I can say that we are living in the very last days right now. I was at Church yesterday, and the teenagers were being very disruptive during the service. The teenagers were acting the fool while the Preacher was expressing the sermon. On a personal note, I do not have any children. In a way; I am glad that I do not have any children because of a football injury that I sustained during the time that I was a teenager. I was speared and tackled after I caught the football during a game.
In Conclusion, I do not have anything right now to show for myself but a college education. I am happy that I have earned my education right now because I am able to do anything through Christ that strengthens me. Why are people acting the way they are right now. It is simply because our children have too many expectations inside of their households.
Proverbs 22:6 says train up a child in a way they should go, when they get old, they will not depart from it. I am glad that I have been raised to attend church on a regular basis. It is that God has not found a suitable female for me to get married. I will admit that I have been rebellious in my teenage years. I have changed immediately after I have asked the Lord to remove the desire to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. I prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday May 2, 1990 to change me for the better. I am happy that my personality has changed because I do not have a desire to argue, and use vulgarity anymore.
In Summary, why people are the way they are? The answer is inside of our behavior and personality. Do you know that God can change anyone as long as you are serious enough? God has changed me because I wanted Him to change me.
The King Saul Effect and how it relates to my Personal Life!
I would like to start off by saying that the King Saul Effect has a whole lot to do with disobedience. Frankly, I will admit that I am guilty of disobeying God’s word myself. For example, I am solely responsible for looking at porn in the past. However, I have been consulting with psychics and numerologists on a daily basis.
The reason why I am expressing about this particular topic is simply because I have made a whole lot of mistakes throughout my personal life. An example of my disobedience consists of having sexual relationships with harlots from 1986-2010. Currently, I am no longer engaging in sexual intercourse with harlots.
Let’s look at King Saul right now, he is responsible for disobeying God by not destroying Amalek. Next, I want to say that the King Saul Effect applies to my personal life right now. The reason why I am saying this is because I have been hearing voices for the past 9 years. I suffer from schizophrenia right now. I feel at this time that my spirit has been broken because of my disobedience and my mental illness.
Further, I want to inform everyone that this can happen to anyone anytime. Right now, I have been rendered powerless because I am hearing voices that are not the Holy Spirit. Moreover, I want to say that my physical and mental problem cannot be cured right now. The voices have really changed my whole life.
In Conclusion, I also feel that God is punishing me for all of my wrong doings. Even though I have been baptized on Sunday February 15, 2015; I feel that God is still mad at me for wasting my seed numerous of times within the past 39 years. In Summary, the King Saul Effect applies to me personally because I have been disobedient all of my entire life.
Finally, I would like to say that I feel that my Holy Spirit has been removed from me. I am losing my memory right now because I hear voices. I will also admit that I have sent $16,977 dollars to people that I did not know. I will admit that I am hearing voices because I have been behaving terribly during the past 21 years. I also admit that have put people’s names on my report in vain. I will admit to having numerous of pictures of women in my past. I also have a chemical imbalance inside of my brain right now. I feel that having a mental illness have made me a very strong person. I have casted all of my burdens on the Lord. Thank you for reading my essay.
Hello, Everyone!! How are you doing today? Fine, I hope. I want to inform all of you that I am writing about the subject called: You cannot stop the rain. Colossians 3:25 says in the King James Version; but he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. You cannot stop the rain is a metaphor. A metaphor is an implied comparison.
This has a whole lot to do with the judgment that we are about to receive in the near future. First, I want to say that I am guilty of using foul language towards others. I am guilty of committing crimes as well. We are not saints. The point is that we are willing to grow along spiritual lines.
This means that I am relying on a power that is greater than myself, which can restore me to sanity. The definition of the word sanity means to have a clear conscious, or to become suitable and proper in making judgment.
Next, I want to inform everyone that our bodies as well as the air that we breathe does not belong to us. Ecclesiastes 12:7 says then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the Spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
You cannot stop the rain because we are responsible for our own behavior while we live. Moreover, I am saying that all of us are held accountable for our personal behavior. You cannot stop the rain literally because it waters the earth. The rain that I am referring to is God’s wrath upon man. Remember one thing, God has the last word. The only thing that we can do, while God is talking to us is simply be quiet. You cannot stop the rain when it comes because it has a purpose in life just like our human existence.
In essence, this is a writing exercise because it gives me an opportunity to receive feedback. I am not trying to preach to anyone. I am sending a message that the Son of Man is coming back very soon. We must prepare ourselves in advance.
Matthew 12:36-37 says: But I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. (37.) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. You are not able to stop the rain because God is evaluating all living things. Mankind will be held accountable for our speech, works, and is we are inside of the Lambs Book of Life.
Acts 2:38 says: Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You cannot stop the rain when it comes because it is time to repent of all of our sins. It is time to get in right standings with God. I want to inform all of you that God is watching all of us from His Throne in heaven. You cannot stop the rain when it comes because we need to prepare ourselves in advance.
I pray that all of us will be saved. I am only flesh and clay out of the ground. God even knows how long we shall live on earth. God knows everything in advance about all of us. In Addition, you cannot stop the rain in many ways because it will come when we least expect it. For me personally, I have been clean and sober for the past 29 years now. I asked God to remove the desire from me to drink and smoke and He did.
The rain that I am also referring to is the latter rain. It is a community of believers, who are sharing God’s message to all people. This community of people are responsible for being an example to everyone else. You cannot stop the rain because it is going to come; no matter if we are prepared or not. I am doing my very best to save those who are lost, the spiritually blinded people, double minded people, and baptizing others in the name of the Father, Son, and The Holy Ghost.
Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart: that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10.) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. As soon as the rain comes, man cannot control it. I am doing my best to govern my own behavior because I know better than to use vulgarity in any state, fashion or form.
Ephesians 4:29 says: Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good for the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers. When it comes to the Lord, I am no different than anyone else. I will be judged according to my works, and what I have done for Kingdom of God. This means that I have to become an imitator of Christ Jesus. I cannot son whatsoever. I cannot listen to secular music as well.
You cannot stop the rain, nor control it when it comes. There is two types of rain. First, the latter rain, and second, the physical rain that waters the earth. There is a third kind of rain that will come and that is rain consisting of fire coming from the sky. The end is coming very fast. I would like for everyone including myself to get prepared to meet God. I love all of you very much. I am concerned about all of you.
Philippians 2:9-11 says: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. (10.) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth. (11.) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. You cannot stop the rain when Jesus Christ comes back to the earth for the second time. Are you ready for Jesus to meet and dine with you?
Isaiah 43:10 says: Ye are my witnesses saith the Lord and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. This means that we are His witnesses and servants to whom God has chosen to his goodwill. In contemporary times, we are God’s and His Temple.
The fundamental definition for Christian discernment is a decision making process in which an individual makes a discovery that can lead to future action. In the process of Christian spiritual discernment God guides the individual to help them arrive at the best decision.
Next, I want to inform all of you that the definition of Spiritual Discernment is separating what is worldly from spiritual. It is distinguishing the spirit of truth from the spirit of error. This means that if someone is saying something that does not make sense, please look at the Holy Bible for the answers to all of your questions. We are supposed to decide what the truth is. One of the things that I actually do is consult with my personal Savior Jesus Christ about what I have heard to see if it lines up in the Bible.
Further, I want to inform everyone that the Lord Jesus Christ will guide you and lead you in the right path. It is that when it comes to Spiritual Discernment, we have to understand that there are false prophets out there, and we have to expose them. I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things. I also realize that it is not me who is doing the work. It is the Holy Spirit that is inside of me that is doing all of the work. I used to hear voices that were not the Holy Spirit for 10 years. I know that God’s word tells me the truth. God’s word also talks to me.
Moreover, I want to inform all of you that having Spiritual Discernment is very important. This means that you really understand what is true from what is actually false. I am a type of person, who pay close attention to what the Pastor is saying on the pulpit. I have received total acceptance from God. Spiritual Discernment comes from the Lord Himself. I know that this is something that is not acquired overnight. It takes a lot of prayer, reading the Bible, and becoming a doer of the word of God.
In Addition, possessing the gifts of the Holy Spirit is very important. It enables all of us to distinguish the full truth that comes from God. I know that I have been baptized almost 5 years ago. As soon as I got baptized, I have felt a complete change inside and outside of me. Spiritual Discernment gives me an opportunity to fully understand God’s message. I know that I am still a Work in Progress according to God.
I know that I am going to make mistakes in my life. I truly want to say that I no longer destroy my own Temple by drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana every single day. I know for me personally, I have been clean and sober for 30 years from marijuana as of January 21, 1990. I have been clean and sober from alcohol since Wednesday May 2, 1990. Spiritual Discernment had to really grow on me. This is simply because I used to let people take full advantage of me. I used to be a Yes Man. I used to concur everything that someone says out of their mouth; without fully thinking all about the consequences in my personal life.
Also, I want to say that I have learned a whole lot about real life, and real life situations. I used to be a person that did not understand what Spiritual Discernment until the very last minute. This is simply because at one point, I dwelt inside of the world. I obviously did what others did inside of the world. Spiritual Discernment gives you a sense of maturity. It will really make you aware of all things. What is the definition of awareness? Awareness is knowledge or perception of a situation or fact. “We need to raise public awareness of the issue” concern about and well-informed interest in a particular situation or development. “A growing environmental awareness”.
Awareness is the state of knowing something, such as the awareness that the sun comes up every morning. The adjective aware gets turned into a noun when the suffix -ness is added, so awareness is the state of being aware, or having knowledge of something. Definition of discerning. : showing insight and understanding: discriminating a discerning critic. There are three different types of awareness. There is prompted awareness: when asked, people tell you they know the organization when picking them off a list. There is unprompted awareness: when asked, people come up with the organization on their own without having to look at a list to say “Oh yeah, I know. “
Finally, I want to say that having discernment is very important to everyone. This is simply because our job is to know the truth. We have a job of spreading the Gospel, casting out evil spirits, and to make disciples of everyone. I have invited people to Church all of the time. Sometimes, people come, and there are times when they did not come to Church. I have been very understanding to everyone. I share the Gospel with everyone. I share the Gospel online and in my personal life. What is Spiritual Discernment? Spiritual Discernment is a learned behavior. God will have to give this to you. I know that it has taken me years to have Spiritual Discernment. Being able to distinguish the truth from error takes a lot of practice.
In Conclusion, I want to inform all of you that this is not a very easy gift to acquire. God has to bless you with this gift. I know that I have always been aware of things that people do; whether it is right or wrong. This is something that takes a lot of experience. I will admit that I used to be a follower for 18 years of my personal life. From 1972 to 1990, I did exactly what everyone else was doing. I concurred very easily because I used to be easily influenced by people, places, and things. Currently, I am a person that has changed my behavior for the better. My relationships took a lot of time. Relationships takes time. Spiritual Discernment is a gift that someone has to be blessed with it.
Postscript: I want to inform everyone that God has given me wisdom and grace. I have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior. I really love people. I know that it has not been very easy learning about Discernment that comes from God. We have God’s Spirit inside of us. I want to inform all of you that Spiritual Discernment is a very careful walk with the Lord. We have to take an inventory about everything that we have done in my life. We have to take an inventory when it comes to being around other people. We have to make the most of our time because the days are evil. We have to be very careful how we spend our personal time. God loves you and so do I.
Please take good care of yourselves. Please keep me in your prayers. I really love all of you very much. Please take good care of yourselves. I really mean it. God and Spiritual Discernment is what I have in my life right now. Whenever, you have Discernment, it means that you cannot believe everything that people tell you. We all have to ask God for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 To God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people—
5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel
6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.
7 You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,
8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,
10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,
12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
The Supremacy of the Son of God
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—
23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Paul’s Labor for the Church
24 Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
25 I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness—
26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people.
27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.
29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
This epistle was sent because of some difficulties which arose among the Colossians, probably from false teachers, in consequence of which they sent to the apostle. The scope of the epistle is to show, that all hope of man’s redemption is founded on Christ, in whom alone are all complete fulness, perfections, and sufficiency. The Colossians are cautioned against the devices of judaizing teachers, and also against the notions of carnal wisdom, and human inventions and traditions, as not consistent with full reliance on Christ. In the first two chapters the apostle tells them what they must believe, and in the two last what they must do; the doctrine of faith, and the precepts of life for salvation.
The apostle Paul salutes the Colossians, and blesses God for their faith, love, and hope. (1-8) Prays for their fruitfulness in spiritual knowledge. (9-14) Gives a glorious view of Christ. (15-23) And sets out his own character, as the apostle of the Gentiles. (24-29)
Verses 1-8 All true Christians are brethren one to another. Faithfulness runs through every character and relation of the Christian life. Faith, hope, and love, are the three principal graces in the Christian life, and proper matter for prayer and thanksgiving. The more we fix our hopes on the reward in the other world, the more free shall we be in doing good with our earthly treasure. It was treasured up for them, no enemy could deprive them of it. The gospel is the word of truth, and we may safely venture our souls upon it. And all who hear the word of the gospel, ought to bring forth the fruit of the gospel, obey it, and have their principles and lives formed according to it. Worldly love arises, either from views of interest or from likeness in manners; carnal love, from the appetite for pleasure. To these, something corrupt, selfish, and base always cleaves. But Christian love arises from the Holy Spirit, and is full of holiness.
Verses 9-14 The apostle was constant in prayer, that the believers might be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, in all wisdom. Good words will not do without good works. He who undertakes to give strength to his people, is a God of power, and of glorious power. The blessed Spirit is the author of this. In praying for spiritual strength, we are not straitened, or confined in the promises, and should not be so in our hopes and desires. The grace of God in the hearts of believers is the power of God; and there is glory in this power. The special use of this strength was for sufferings. There is work to be done, even when we are suffering. Amidst all their trials they gave thanks to the Father of our Lord Jesus, whose special grace fitted them to partake of the inheritance provided for the saints. To bring about this change, those were made willing subjects of Christ, who were slaves of Satan. All who are designed for heaven hereafter, are prepared for heaven now. Those who have the inheritance of sons, have the education of sons, and the disposition of sons. By faith in Christ they enjoyed this redemption, as the purchase of his atoning blood, whereby forgiveness of sins, and all other spiritual blessings were bestowed. Surely then we shall deem it a favour to be delivered from Satan’s kingdom and brought into that of Christ, knowing that all trials will soon end, and that every believer will be found among those who come out of great tribulation.
Verses 15-23 Christ in his human nature, is the visible discovery of the invisible God, and he that hath seen Him hath seen the Father. Let us adore these mysteries in humble faith, and behold the glory of the Lord in Christ Jesus. He was born or begotten before all the creation, before any creature was made; which is the Scripture way of representing eternity, and by which the eternity of God is represented to us. All things being created by Him, were created for him; being made by his power, they were made according to his pleasure, and for his praise and glory. He not only created them all at first, but it is by the word of his power that they are upheld. Christ as Mediator is the Head of the body, the church; all grace and strength are from him; and the church is his body. All fulness dwells in him; a fulness of merit and righteousness, of strength and grace for us. God showed his justice in requiring full satisfaction. This mode of redeeming mankind by the death of Christ was most suitable. Here is presented to our view the method of being reconciled. And that, notwithstanding the hatred of sin on God’s part, it pleased God to reconcile fallen man to himself. If convinced that we were enemies in our minds by wicked works, and that we are now reconciled to God by the sacrifice and death of Christ in our nature, we shall not attempt to explain away, nor yet think fully to comprehend these mysteries; but we shall see the glory of this plan of redemption, and rejoice in the hope set before us. If this be so, that God’s love is so great to us, what shall we do now for God? Be frequent in prayer, and abound in holy duties; and live no more to yourselves, but to Christ. Christ died for us. But wherefore? That we should still live in sin? No; but that we should die to sin, and live henceforth not to ourselves, but to Him.
Verses 24-29 Both the sufferings of the Head and of the members are called the sufferings of Christ, and make up, as it were, one body of sufferings. But He suffered for the redemption of the church; we suffer on other accounts; for we do but slightly taste that cup of afflictions of which Christ first drank deeply. A Christian may be said to fill up that which remains of the sufferings of Christ, when he takes up his cross, and after the pattern of Christ, bears patiently the afflictions God allots to him. Let us be thankful that God has made known to us mysteries hidden from ages and generations, and has showed the riches of his glory among us. As Christ is preached among us, let us seriously inquire, whether he dwells and reigns in us; for this alone can warrant our assured hope of his glory. We must be faithful to death, through all trials, that we may receive the crown of life, and obtain the end of our faith, the salvation of our souls.
The Colossians, to whom this epistle is written, were not the Rhodians, by some called Colossians, from Colossus, the large statue of the sun, which stood in the island of Rhodes, and was one of the seven wonders of the world; but the inhabitants of Colosse, a city of the greater Phrygia, in the lesser Asia, near to which stood the cities of Laodicea and Hierapolis, mentioned in this epistle. Pliny {a} speaks of it as one of the chief towns in Phrygia, and {b} Herodotus calls it the great city of Phrygia; it is said to have perished a very little time after the writing of this epistle, with the above cities, by an earthquake, in the year of Christ 66, and in the tenth of Nero {c}; though it was afterwards rebuilt; for Theophylact says, that in his time it was called Chonae. When the Gospel was brought hither, and by whom, is not known, nor who was the founder of the church in this place; for the Apostle Paul was not, since his face had never been seen by them, Col 2:1, though it is said that Epaphras, the same name with Epaphroditus, was fixed by him pastor of this church; and others say Philemon was set over it by him. The occasion of this epistle was this, Epaphras, who had preached the Gospel to the Colossians, and very likely was the first that did, came to Rome, where the Apostle Paul was a prisoner, and gave him an account of them, how they had heard and received the Gospel, and of their faith Christ, and love to the saints; and also declared to him in what danger they were through some false teachers that had got among them, who were for introducing the philosophy of the Gentiles, the ceremonies of the law of Moses, and some pernicious tenets of the followers of Simon Magus, and the Gnostics; upon which the apostle writes this epistle to them, to confirm them in the faith of the Gospel Epaphras had preached unto them, and which was the same he himself preached; and to warn them against those bad men, and their principles; and to exhort them to a discharge of their duty to God, and men, and one another. It was written by the apostle, when in bonds at Rome, as many passages in it show, and about the same time with those to the Philippians and Ephesians; and the epistle to the latter greatly agrees with this, both as to subject and style. Dr. Lightfoot places it in the year of Christ 60, in the second of the apostle’s imprisonment, and in the sixth of Nero’s reign.

\\INTRODUCTION TO COLOSSIANS 1\\
This chapter contains the inscription of the epistle; the apostle’s usual salutation; his thanksgiving to God on behalf of the Colossians for grace received; his prayers, that more might be given them; an enumeration of various blessings of grace, which require thankfulness, in which the glories and excellencies of Christ are particularly set forth: and it is concluded with an exhortation to a steadfast adherence to the Gospel, taken from the nature, excellency, and usefulness of the ministry of it. The inscription, and the salutation, are in Col 1:1,2, and are the same with those in the epistle to the Ephesians, only Timothy is joined with the apostle here, and the Colossians have the additional character of brethren given them. The thanksgiving is in Col 1:3-5, the object of it is God, the Father of Christ; the time when made, when in prayer to him; its subject matter, the faith and love of the saints; to which is added, their happiness secured for them in heaven, their hope was conversant with: and whereas the Gospel was the means by which they came to the hearing and knowledge of it, this is commended from the subject of it, the doctrine of truth; from the spread of it in the world; and from its efficacy in bringing forth fruit in all, to whom it came in power, and that with constancy, Col 1:5,6, and also from the testimony of Epaphras, a faithful minister of Christ, and theirs, who was dear to the apostle, and of whom he had the above account of them, Col 1:7,8. And then follow his prayers for them, that they might have an increase of spiritual knowledge, and that they might put in practice what they knew; and for that purpose he entreats they might be blessed with strength, patience, and longsuffering, Col 1:9-11. And in order to excite thankfulness in himself and them, he takes notice of various blessings of grace; of the Father’s grace in giving a meetness for eternal glory and happiness, by delivering from the power of darkness, and translating into the kingdom of his Son, Col 1:12,13, and of the Son’s grace in obtaining redemption by his blood, and procuring the remission of sins, Col 1:14, which leads the apostle to enlarge upon the excellencies of the author of these blessings, in his divine person, as the image of God, and the first cause of all created beings, Col 1:15, which he proves by an enumeration of them, as created by him, and for his sake, by his pre-existence to them, and their dependence on him, Col 1:16,17, and in his office capacity, as Mediator, being the head of the church, the governor of it, and the first that rose from the dead; by all which it appears that he has, and ought to have the pre-eminence, Col 1:18. And this is still more manifest from his having all fulness dwelling in him, to supply his body the church, of which he is the head, Col 1:19, and from the reconciliation of all the members of it to God by him, Col 1:20, which blessing of grace is amplified partly by the subjects of it, who are described by their former state and condition, aliens and enemies, and by their present one, reconciled by the death of Christ in his fleshly body; and partly by the end of it, the presentation of them holy, blameless, and irreprovable in the sight of God, Col 1:21,22. Wherefore it is a duty incumbent on such to abide by the Gospel of Christ, which brings the good tidings of peace and reconciliation, and is the means of faith and hope; and the rather, since they had heard it themselves, and others also, even every creature under heaven; and the apostle was a minister of it, Col 1:23, and on his ministration of it he enlarges, by observing his sufferings for the church on account of the Gospel, which he endured with pleasure; and therefore they should, by his example, be encouraged to continue in it, Col 1:24. Moreover, he argues the same from his commission of God to preach it for their sakes, Col 1:25, and from the nature and subject matter of it, being a hidden mystery, and containing riches and glory in it; yea, Christ himself, the foundation of hope of eternal glory, Col 1:26,27, and from the end of preaching it, which was to present every man perfect in Christ; which end the apostle laboured and strove to obtain through the power and energy of divine grace, which wrought in him, and with him, Col 1:28,29.
Luke 6:35-36 and what does it mean to all people!!
This is an essay that ask one very important question. What does Luke 6:35-36 mean to all people? First, I want to say that I used to have a problem with this particular Bible verse because people have done me so wrong that I felt humiliated in my own hometown.
I will admit that my life during the past 33 years consisted of ups and downs behaviorally speaking. I will also admit that I used to be the type of person who used to retaliate on other people; especially when they did wrong to me. However, during the past 30 years, my life has truly change for the better. I also will admit that I have done so many things in my personal life. For example, I have lend so much money to other people, and just like the Bible verse states that we do not ask for our money back.
Next, I want to inform everyone that I had to completely humble myself in front of Jesus Christ, who is my personal Savior. When I was inside of the world, I did exactly what the world was doing. I have changed when I received my annulment from my marriage because my ex-wife cheated on me with another man. I have forgiven her for what she has done wrong. I have a clean heart right now.
In Addition, I want to inform everyone that Jesus Christ has changed my behavior because I desired for Him to so. I was at a point in my personal life that I felt like giving up back in the year 2010. This is simply because I got scammed out of $16,977 dollars in Western Union Funds by scammers and computer hackers. I will admit that at one point that I felt desperate and lonely. I had a desire for a wife. It did not work out because I only wanted to have a relationship just like everyone else.
Luke 6:35-36 means to me that God will bless me with the things that I need. I know that I have changed because I had realized by reading the Holy Bible that I have the Holy Spirit inside of me. When it comes to this Bible verse, it means that I have to do for all of my enemies. I have to lend them money and still forgive them. I will also admit that I am the person who forgives everyone very easily. For instance, my baby brother did not forgive me of my past. I still have beef with him, but I have learned to pray for him.
Moreover, I do not have a desire to argue and quarrel with anyone. I would rather forgive you for what you have done wrong to me. If I do something wrong to anyone, I am quick to apologize to anyone. I will not exchange insults with anyone, nor slander anyone. I am a peaceful person right now. I have been through so much in my life that I am on the verge of writing an autobiography about my life. I really love people, animals, and nature. I have this appreciation for life itself. I love the things that on earth. I am a whole lot humble than ever before.
Finally, I want everyone to know that I truly love you. I have a deep appreciation for everyone. This is the reason why God is watching all of us. I want to say that I pray every single day of the week and read the Bible all of the time. I share the Gospel of Peace to everyone. Praise the Lord!! I would like for everyone to please keep me in your prayers because I suffer from multiple health problems right now. Luke 6:35:36 can be very difficult for some people. For me personally, I am more honest and truthful with everyone. My life belongs to Jesus Christ right now.
In Conclusion, I want to inform everyone that I used to run away from my problems in the past. Right now, I face them. I am able to accept constructive criticism very well. My life itself has changed because I really got tired of the high cost of low living. There are some of my family members and friends who are completely surprised because my complete transformation. I feel a whole lot better right now.
If anyone did not tell you that they did not love you; I love you and accept you for the person that you really are. If you need anything, please do not be afraid to ask me. My life is good. There are people who do not like me because of my past, but I pray for them anyway. Life right now is better for me because I have Jesus Christ inside of me. I have given my life to Jesus Christ on February 15, 2015. I attend Fort McKinley United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio. I have been clean and sober since May 2, 1990. I am a 57 year old man who have a lot of common sense. I am very intelligent, kind, compassionate, polite, smart, helpful, friendly, and respectful. I respect people even when they do not respect me in return.
Praise The Lord Saints!! Praise The Lord!! How are you doing today? Fine, I hope. I have a question to ask everyone. What does Job 31:1 Mean to you? What it means to me is that I have to be very careful.
Next, I want to inform all of you that this is really pertaining to men of the world. I want to inform all men that we cannot always consider women as sex objects. Women are designed as a man’s helpmate. Therefore, they are a companion for man himself. I think the reason why this Bible verse exist because men tend to stray with their eyes, and they do not know it.
Moreover, I want to say that I even have to be very careful on how I actually look at women. For Instance, I remember working at the Skyline Chili Restaurant, and there was a young lady that I actually had a crush on. She was one of my co- -workers. Anyway, I stared at her every single day for at least three months. Afterwards, she called one of her brothers to confront me. I would have fought this young lady’s brother. So, I ended up apologizing to her by saying that I am very sorry for starring at her for three consecutive months.
In Addition, I want to say that it was my fault for looking at my co-worker in a sexual manner. However, I have been involved in relationships that were not feasible for me. I was only involved in the relationship to satisfy my sexual appetite. I know that Job was married to his wife, but he lost his children because Satan had killed them.
Further, I want to say that I used to purchase sex from female prostitutes from June 20, 1986 until July 3, 2010. I have spent an undetermined amount of cash on sex. I know that this is wrong. Currently, I am being very careful myself because I have over 5,000 female friends on Facebook, and 7,000 female friends on Mocospace.
I know that I am only a work in Progress. I really need prayer in this area right now. I know that I have a whole lot of female friends. I do not have a crush on them. Some of them were my Church members. I know that even looking at a woman the wrong way would cause a man to end up in jail. The charge is called Aggravated Menacing. This is the reason why I am being very careful of my own personal behavior.
Also, I have not had sex in almost 10 years right now. I know that I have spent a lot of money on female prostitutes. I even had sex with married women. I would like for all of you to please keep me in your prayers because I am asking God to help me in this area of my life. I know that it takes years to recover from a sexual addiction. This is a life- long process. I also know that I grew up being scared of women. I did not have sex for the very first time until I was 20 years old.
Finally, I am actually scared of women. I do not want to be around women or anyone who quarrel. Even though it might be my fault for causing the argument. I only need time to redeem myself personally. People might call me out of my name for being a hypocrite in one way or another. I am only sharing my personal experiences concerning women and Job 31:1.
The Old Man vs The New Man by Anthony Joseph Hopkins
November 14, 2020
This is a comparison and contrast paper concerning the Old Man vs The New Man. First, I would like to place emphasis on the Old Man. The Old Man is a person who ignores God. The Old Man is a person who pays attention to his deceitful lusts.
Next, according to Ephesians 4:22 Says: That you put off concerning your former conduct, the Old Man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts: The Old Man is a person who constantly gets into trouble with the law. This Bible verse is saying that we put off the former conduct the Old Man, which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.
Further, the Old Man is a very immoral person. The Old Man is a person who does not attend church on a regular basis. The Old Man is a person who makes bad decisions and choices. The Old Man is a person who places emphasis on worldly things. The Old Man is a person who has a lot of possessions.
Moreover, The Old Man has a whole lot of women. The Old Man is a person who does not pay tithes and offerings to the church. The Old Man is a person who does not know how to take care of his responsibilities. The Old Man is a person who is disrespectful. The Old Man is a person who does not love himself or other people.
In Addition, The Old Man tends to have a lot of personal items. The Old Man rarely attends college and graduate from college. The Old Man hardly works for a living. The Old Man is disrespectful towards women and children.
Also, The Old Man rarely pleases God in any way. The Old Man is a man who is involved in all sorts of immorality. Immorality pleases the Old Man a whole lot. An Old Man tend to have a lot of younger women. The Old Man only does things to please other men and women. The Old Man, even though, is a law-abiding citizen in his own country. The Old Man makes advances when he gets ready.
Ephesians 4:23 Says: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Whereas, when it comes to renewing the spirit of your mind, this is a change from the inside out. The Old Man will have to make a change for the better. This means that an Old Man who is inside of his former conduct must have a complete change in his lifestyle, behavior, and conduct.
Frankly, The Old Man must come to his senses and ask God to change him for the better. This change will not occur overnight. This change will come gradually overtime. When it comes to making a transition from the Old Man to the New Man, a man, woman, or child must be ready by God for this change.
However, when it comes to the New Man; a New Man is a God-fearing man. The New Man is a Man who has respect for all people. A New Man is a person who listens emphatically to other people. The New Man attends Church on a regular basis. The New Man is a Man who does not use vulgarity whatsoever. The New Man imitates Jesus Christ in his behavior every single day.
The New Man knows how to talk to his wife all of the time. The New Man is a man who thinks before he acts. The New Man is a law-abiding man. The New Man has a lot of common sense.
According to Ephesians 4:24 Says: And that you put on the New Man, which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. This Bible verse means that we need to imitate the behavior of Jesus Christ at all times. We were created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. This really means that we were created by God. We are supposed to have a new mind and a new spirit. We must strive for perfection in the same way Jesus Christ did while He was on earth. When it comes to the New Man, we are supposed to speak in a way that pleases God. The New Man is a man who is clean all of the time. A new man does not have a lot of possessions.
Finally, The Old Man and The New Man are two different people. The Old Man is concerned about himself. The New Man is a Change Agent. This means that the New Man is an ambassador for Jesus Christ. The Old Man thrives in his own deceitful lusts. When it comes to The New Man, he is a man who knows how to survive with God’s help.
In Conclusion, The Old Man and New Man are very unique individuals. The Old Man things about himself the majority of the time. In most cases, the New Man always think about everything that he says right out of his mouth. The New Man places emphasis on other people. The New Man works for God.

When it comes to the New Testament, it specifically states that we are Temples of the Living God. Our Bodies are the Temple of God. I would like to express myself for a few moments. I would like to say that I am a Born Again Christian. I have totally submitted myself completely to His Will. I also will admit that I am sinful flesh, but I am still a Child of God. I want to ask another question. Matthew 22:14 states that for many are called, but a few are chosen. What does this Bible verse mean? I would like to receive both positive and negative feedback on this question.
Next, I would like to continue pondering on this question about Matthew 22:14. Do anyone know what does this Bible verse mean? The answer to this question is that God has called all of us to do according to His Will. I begin to realize that God still loves us for who we are as people. He only want us to repent of all of our sins. He want all of us to live for Him. The Lord is slow to anger, and is abounding with grace. I understand that the First 144,000 are going to be considered.
Moreover, I want to inform everyone that we all still have a chance to be His chosen people. When it comes to being called by God, it gives me an opportunity to live for him and serve Him. This means that I must become Christ-like in my manner of living and completely change. I have dedicated my life for Him by writing and sharing my personal testimony with others. I am at the realization that I still have more to do for Him. For Instance, I have to make amends with everyone that I have wronged in my personal life.
In Addition, I have to be willing to forgive every one of all of their trespasses. I have to be willing to share His word with others. I have to commune with the assembly of the Saints. I have to dedicate myself to reading His word to everyone. I have to have an intimate personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Therefore, I want to say that my relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me right now. I want to inform everyone that I am willing and ready to work out my salvation with fear and trembling.
Further, I want to say that my favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 32:27 which states; behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me? God asked Jeremiah the Prophet this question in the Old Testament. I want to say that my life has done a complete 180 degree turn because I do not have a desire for the things of the world. I am ready to go back to work and earn a decent wage. If the Lords Will, I will seek employment somewhere within the next 6 months.
Finally, I want to say that I have given up the street life. I have been clean and sober for 28 years right now. My sobriety date is May 2, 1990. I have given up the high cost of low living. As it relates to the question at hand, I feel that I am ready to step up to the plate and become a real man. I am ready to share the Gospel with everyone that I meet personally. I also want to inform everyone that on February 15, 2015, I have rededicated my life to Jesus Christ. I have been baptized on that day, and a total of 8 other times. I am in the Lambs Book of Life right now, and I have a record of baptism in several churches.
In Conclusion, I want to say that I am a Born Again Christian and I really feel that I am chosen by God to serve Him and share my personal testimony with everyone. I am guilty of robbing God of my tithes and offerings. I have to submit my income to God. I am very sorry for placing emphasis on my household rather than giving to God. Please pray for me because I have too many bills to pay in my household. I have a student loan from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte that is in collections right now.
Let’s ask this very important question. Why do criminals avoid prosecution? The reason why criminals avoid prosecution is simple. First, they are afraid of suffering. The reason why there is a sense of apprehension on the criminals’ part is because their sense of consciousness has eroded. Another reason is they are afraid of facing their victims.
They are afraid of facing their victims because they are not able to repay their personal debt to them. Another reason is that suffering is far greater for the defendant than the victims themselves. Suffering is a method that most defendants face each day by avoiding prosecution. This is because of the fact that society prefers incarceration than entering into a work release program.
Second, another reason why criminals avoid prosecution is simply because they are afraid of getting shot and killed. This is because they are afraid of showing their faces to the public that hiding is the better alternative. Men are afraid of facing prosecution because they have a tendency to hide out much longer than women. Men are prone to avoid prosecution, and in some cases would prefer a harsher punishment when captured. Women on the other hand, have a sense of conscious and they are apt to turn themselves in much quicker than an average man. It is not that women have a profound fear of prosecution; it’s that women tend to reflect on the consequences and repercussions to criminal justice.
Why is it that women are more than likely than men to turn themselves in to the authorities than men? The answer to this important question is that they tend to reflect on their future and their families. Men are the opposite. Men reflect on the negatives and they tend to possess a nothing to lose attitude. There are some women who might possess this disposition, however; if women have a family or a concern for their own personal safety, then this is the reason why this tend to exist.
Third, men and women alike tend to avoid prosecution for various reasons. In some cases, both men and women are not aware of their set of circumstances to begin with. This is because women who tend to explore more alternatives than men. The alternatives to avoiding prosecution are using an alias. There are women who use multiple names to avoid dealing with the authorities. There are men who engage in this behavior on a daily basis. Why are men and women using aliases more than usual? The answer is very simple. This is because they are really reluctant to face their victims.
The victims themselves prefer justice that is feasible to their personal needs. It is not that the criminal justice system is flawed, there are times that it works and times when it does not work. However, hard work pays off as long as a plaintiff represents themselves professionally in court, a positive outcome is possible.
Fourth, men are always avoiding prosecution simply because they are the cowards of society. They are afraid of facing anyone they have a personal problem with on a daily basis. It is not that women are following suit. Gender is specified in this case because women tend to think of the circumstances and the nature of the crimes itself. Men on the other hand, tend to take an aggressive stand when it comes to facing members of law enforcement. Maybe it’s that men are reluctant to facing a much stiffer sentence. Women usually take a different approach when it comes to avoiding prosecution. For instance, women tend to hide with men who they are not familiar with.
Women who are on the run have a tendency to hide with other criminals themselves. Over 50% of the women who are captured in the United States are with a significant other that is not married to them. Oftentimes, women are hiding inside of other countries and cities just to avoid getting prosecuted. The statistics are according to the United States Department of Justice.
Recent statistics also reveal that women who are on the run are around males with an extensive criminal history themselves. Women who are on the run even for minor offenses are more than likely to hide in other cities and deny the existence of their crimes. Both men and women are in denial when it comes to even having an involvement with the persons that they are accused of hurting in the first place.
Finally, what are the alternatives for these criminals? The answer is getting them to justice by getting the general public involved. Also, the media is an outlet when it comes to assisting in the efforts to capturing criminals. The assistance of the media, law enforcement, and the general public is very important. There is also a sense of reluctance when it pertains to the general public getting involved in capturing criminals. Men and women alike who are responsible for committing crimes against humanity need to face justice. Women are more inclined to turn themselves in to law enforcement because they feel safe and secure and relieved because at least the burden is completely off of their backs.
The men that are with them are aiding and preventing these women from facing the people that they have wronged personally. The men are involved because they are harboring criminals. The men who are involved in criminal activities tend to be more nonchalant than women. They are more apathetic, discontent, unconcerned for personal safety, and are reluctant to deal fwith their problems. Men are not cognizant of the circumstances and in some cases, aren’t aware themselves that they have committed a crime. There are times, they talk about it boastfully as well as women, but they refuse to deal with the problem. Thank you for reading my report.
