Grace and Mercy

Grace and Mercy: What does it means to all people?

This is an essay that ask one very important question.  What does grace and mercy means to all people?  To start things off, I would like to give a definitions of the words grace and mercy.  What is the definition of the word grace?  Grace is Grace is a gift from Heavenly Father given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The word grace, as used in the scriptures, refers primarily to enabling power and spiritual healing offered through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. … The grace of God helps us every day.  Whereas the definition of the word mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.

Next, the Lord has compassion of forgiveness towards us.  Even though we dwell in our sinful nature.  Jesus Christ died for the sins of all people.  He died for me in advance.  I was not even born and He died for me.  It really means something to me because He knew me when I was inside of my mother’s womb.  The significance of the cross means to me that God gave us His Son Jesus Christ because; God grieved that He had made man in the first place.

According to Genesis 6:6 says:  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Moreover, I do not want God to be mad at me because of the things that I have done in my personal life.  I am very sad and depressed because of the things that I have done wrong in the eyes of God.  The Lord has been very good to me all of my life.  It is that I have done somethings that were distasteful in His precious eyes.  Matthew 25:46 points out

When it comes to grace and mercy, God is giving all of us one last chance to repent and ask Him for forgiveness of all of our sins.  I am ready to live for Him for the rest of my entire life.  I do not want to die like that because it means that I will not have a chance in my life.

Finally, I know that I am not a righteous man, but a sinner.  I am a person who have come a very long way in my personal life.  When it comes to God’s grace and mercy, this is exactly what I am striving for right now.  I want to say that I really need everyone’s prayers and support in order to get my life back on track.  Grace and Mercy gives me another chance in the eyes of God.  I am a very forgiving person.  God has forgiven me a very long time ago.  It is that I have made so many mistakes in my personal life that I deserve death.

Please continue to keep me in your prayers!!  I love all of the creation of God.  This includes mankind.  I am asking God to please give me another chance because I need help in my life.

Keep on Praying

Keep on Praying

Why be persistent? Why is it that answers sometimes don’t come immediately?

Why should I keep on praying when the answer doesn’t come in my time table?

A purpose of prayer is to turn our focus toward God and away from our circumstances—our eyes off the problem and our eyes on Him—so we can talk to Him and not at him. Prayer will help us maintain a positive outlook of hope, gratitude, patience, and peace in the midst of our trial. Col. 4:2 says Prayer does not require eloquence, but earnestness.

Prayer is essential.  The Bible says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Phil. 4:6-7

Begin by Praising God. Why should we praise God? Because he is worthy of our praise.  Matthew 6:9 (TEV) This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven: May your holy name be honored; We can all find things in our lives for which we can praise him.

Pray with a clean heart.  Confess your sins, and ask God to bring to your mind any unconfessed sin so you can deal with it with Him and He will hear your prayer.  Isa. 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.  Also see 1 Peter 3:7.

Even when we’re ‘at out wits end’ and don’t know how or what to pray…
Remember, as believers–those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior—God sends his Spirit, the Holy Spirit, into our lives.  When we don’t know what to pray, the Holy Spirit will pray for us!  Romans 8:26 (Msg):  God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter; He [the Holy Spirit] does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

Be forgiving.  In your life, you will be hurt by others; sometimes intentionally; sometimes unintentionally.  How you handle that hurt determines your happiness.

The Bible says forgive and be forgiven. In fact, Jesus says “if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done.” (Matthew 6:15, TEV) They’re inter-related.  You might say, “I just can’t forgive that person!  They hurt me too badly.”  If that’s the case, then I hope you never sin.

For your own sake, let go of the past.  If somebody hurt you, let go of it, release them. That’s one of the values of prayer.  It helps you unload. Forgiveness is the only way to get rid of the past.  Forgive them and let it go.  Get on with life.  Forgiveness erases the videotape of that hurt memory that keeps playing over and over in your mind.  You must learn to forgive.  If you’re struggling with forgiving, tell God you want to forgive but need his help in letting go.

God already knows your needs. Matt. 6:7-8  [Jesus speaking] “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as some people do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. 8Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

God wants us to see Him alone as the source of our needs. When we have to pray about something over and over, who do we look to?  We look to the Lord.  Persistent prayer focuses our attention.  Have you discovered that we like to look to everybody else to solve our problem except the Lord?  We look to our friends, we look to our family, we look to counselors, we look to the government, we look to anybody–except the Lord. God often delays an answer to force you to focus on Him.

Keep on praying when there’s no answer, because persistent praying helps me focus on God. God wants me to remember that He alone is the source of my answers to prayer. The Bible says in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

  • If your request is wrong, God says “no.”
  • If your timing is wrong, God says “slow.”
  • If your character is wrong, God says “grow.”
  • If your request is right, God says “go.”

Persistent praying also clarifies my requests. A delayed answer a lot of times gives me time to clarify ‘what do I really want?’ Time separates deep longings from mere whims. I’ve prayed for things and sometimes during the delay decided I didn’t really want or need them after all.

God sometimes delays the answer to test you. It’s not that He doesn’t want to give it to you, He wants to know if you really want it.  Do you want it enough to keep praying?  Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Nothing worthwhile is accomplished with half-hearted prayers.

Persistent prayer will prepare me for the answer. God usually wants to do more than you are praying for. Surprise! God wants to do it greater and He needs time to get you ready for it. There are changes God wants to make in you. Ephesians 3:20 “Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us, is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.”

It’s been said, “Prayer changes things.”  Of course we know it is God who does the changing.  But praying changes you.  And God is more interested in you than He is in circumstances. Often as soon as you’ve made the change in your life the doors of heaven open and the answer comes.  Expect a miracle.

Persistent praying strengthens and develops your faith. A mark of maturity is how long can you wait.  Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”  God is saying, “Hang on!  Be patient!  The harvest is coming.  Don’t give up!  Look up!”

And pray “according to Your will, God.”  This is the confidence we have in approaching God –that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us 1 John 5:14. We should always desire and strive to be in the center of His will.

Recruit others to help in prayer support.  Contact other believers and ask them to be praying for you.  Be proactive; you’ll otherwise be depriving yourself of prayer support.  Let others be blessed by both involving them and keeping them updated.

Keep a Prayer List.  Write down your prayer requests and note by each item the date you began praying; you’ll see God answer your prayers as you trust him fully.

Pray Believing.  The person who asks trustingly does not determine how God will answer, but he or she can be confident in knowing that God will answer. The person who asks doubtfully should not expect to receive anything from the Lord because the request was not genuine. When our loyalties are straightened out, God’s answers to prayer are restored to us (see James 1:6-7).  With God all things are possible (see Matt. 19:26).

Listen for God’s responses.  God speaks to us through His Word, through prayer, devotionals, through Christian speakers, Christian radio and TV, through circumstances and events he brings into our lives, and through nature itself, his beautiful creation.  When you receive an answer and wonder about it, ask God to confirm it.

The great tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer. So I encourage you to take time daily to focus on God, reading His word, The Bible, and talking to Him.  Relate this to dating, where we spend time with someone to learn more about them, to get to know them better.  Likewise, we need to spend time with God daily to get to know Him better.

In Happy moments, PRAISE GOD; in Difficult moments, SEEK GOD; in Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD; in Painful moments, TRUST GOD; in Every moment, THANK GOD (1 Thes. 5:16). No matter what, we should always pray, as Jesus did, “Not my will, God, but Yours” (Mark 14:36)

Online Scamming And The Organized Criminal Element

Understanding Online Scamming and Criminal Element

Let’s look at this for a moment. We already know that human behavior is learned. When it comes to dealing with a criminal element, this is very different. What is a criminal element? A criminal element is based on systems, and representatives that are involved in street enterprises and a specified family of members that engage in crimes against humanity. This enterprise itself has many members that represent a hierarchy and a subculture that is very powerful. An element is a constituent part. This constituent part is made of many systems. Criminals themselves are members who are responsible for engaging in activities that is against the normal when it comes to human behavior. The definition of a criminal is one who commits acts that are forbidden by law.

Let’s tie all of this together. A criminal element is a cohesive unit consisting of divisions of people and its purpose is to obtain a specified amount of resources and or wealth from those who have worked so hard to obtain them. This is not to say that all of these people are not hard working people themselves. They just make bad choices. Some of these choices that are made are for the sake of themselves. This means that they are only trying to gain something from someone else and forget what the next person thinks. Next, the hierarchy will be emphasized here for a moment. This hierarchy is a chain of command consisting of members unlike those working for an industry.

Well, to begin with, there is a president, or one who is in charge of an operation such as a criminal element. This is a person who directs and gives orders to his members. The members are outlined as follows: President, Vice President, Generals, Captains, Lieutenants, Financial Advisors, War Counselors, Master at Arms, Sergeant at Arms, Sergeant, and Foot Soldiers. The foot-soldiers themselves are responsible for bringing in the money for the operation that I am talking about. In addition, the online scammers and criminals that are involved start off engaging in a meeting themselves. This is like a think tank session; which consists of a closed meeting to others as well as the general public.

The objective is to find out what avenues to take and how to comprise of a specified mission. This is broken down into stages. The stages themselves consist of training for new members. The members themselves are hired by a specific enterprise consisting of the above members. The stage that is specified is recruitment. A recruit is a new member learning how the criminal element works itself. They are trained by foot soldiers that are responsible for teaching others how to engage in specific organized crimes in order to benefit this enterprise.

Moreover, when these members are online unlike those who are responsible for scamming me out of $15,559 dollars, they are using pictures of women who are previously online to lure other men to converse with them. What these intended victims do not know is that they are being used by not only the women involved in the picture, but the men who are hiding behind them. The women themselves will have to prove their innocence in a court of law. This for them is not easy. The men who are responsible are those who they are involved with in the present or those from their past.

This is classified as stalking. These women are involved because they are responsible for setting up telephone conversations with their intended victims, for the sole purpose of gaining money from them. However, what these women do not know is that they are being used as bait themselves for others. The men in the criminal enterprise should have been honest and truthful themselves from the very beginning. Now, remind you that these women as well as the male victims have been placed under illegal surveillance and their phones have been wiretapped. Women are more than likely than men to become victims of this crime. Some of them know, but there are those who do not know they are being under surveillance.

Some of the equipment that is used is home computers to other sophisticated equipment that is used to perform special operations in the military. Online scamming and the criminal element behind it come from the individuals themselves who are primarily stalking their intended victims online by observing their every move. Some of this goes by undetected. The women who have pictures online are victims themselves of identity theft and fraud that is being perpetrated by men who have illegally obtained their information by hacking it. As we speak, there are at least, 65,000 to 100,000 websites that are used by online scammers each day.

The funds themselves that are obtained by these men come from the cash that their intended victims have sent them. I am people who have been scammed because I have sent electronic wire funds to what I have thought to be a real woman.

It turns out that all of my money was illegally intercepted by other women who have used the name of a specified person. The men and women who have received my money had made a complete fool out of me in the process. I am sharing my personal story because it’s very important for those who are online to meet honest people. There are those who are involved in this money making scheme must answer to another person. This person is a higher ranking official or officials themselves. It’s that they have taken money from hard working people, but have deprived the enterprise, to whom they are involved with. Let’s look at some of the intimidation techniques that are used by these organized criminals and scammers.

First, there is a technique called emotional and mental telepathy. This is a universal band of emotions consisting of many people who are angry at the person that is responsible for hurting them. How does this work, is that an act or an offense itself has taken place. The person or persons involved become victims because the parties involved do not want to engage in any acts of violence themselves. Next, there is a method called channeling. Channeling is when a group of people themselves with emotions consisting of rage, anger, aggression, and fury use their minds as a means of nonverbal communication.

This technique is very effective and it is a nonviolent approach. However, it also hurt others because this universal energy is penetrated inside of the mind or psyche of the victim itself. This is a form of emotional abuse to the intended victim because of the fact that the perpetrators themselves are reluctant to confront the people who have harmed them. As soon as the people involved in any dispute with each other are together, it would be nice to meet at a very safe place so that all issues can be resolved peacefully.

However, in some cases, this is something that is used to intimidate people. I can say this; there are signals from the human brain of others that can be used as a means of intimidation or to hurt others. This is a channeling method of behavior that comes from those who are aggressors to their intended victims. It wears down the energy of others to the point that they feel sleepy all of the time.

In essence, it can also be used as a means of deception. There are scientific approaches that have been used to deal with human behavior, at this time, it will not be discussed. Let’s look at the tracking devices that are used by organized criminals for a moment. These devices that I am referring to are those that come from specified software that is used by members of law enforcement. The latest tracking devices that are used by professional hackers come from the satellites themselves. At least they are responsible for hacking into the systems by gaining signals and information from personnel who are using them. However, there are so many people involved in this online scamming situation that the names of those involved are held confidential until their innocence are proven in court.

Let’s understand one thing, online scammers and those who are related to this criminal element are responsible for taking advantage of their victims. Allow me to remind you that this is a subculture that exists worldwide. The members themselves are responsible for altering and illegally changing the information of their intended victims and in some cases use it as their own.

For instance, many of the victims just like me are having a really hard time trying to recover from being scammed out of a large sum of money. I also want to say that there are women who are victims of this crime by the men who they have been involved with in the present as well as in their past. This is because of their personal information that was given to the perpetrator was in confidence. I really didn’t expect to get taken advantage of by both men and women. Sometimes it takes many years to recover from the irreparable damage that comes from being scammed out of money.

Organized criminals and those of the online scamming variety are responsible for committing crimes against humanity. What are these crimes that I am speaking of? These crimes are murder, robbery, bank fraud, identity theft, identity fraud, social security fraud, and stealing bank accounts of their intended victims. There are other crimes that online scammers commit besides fraud.

There are other crimes that are committed such as money laundering, racketeering, as well as common assaults against other people. In most cases these perpetrators commit witness intimidation and assaults from either the verbal and nonverbal communication methods that they use on their intended victims. There are acts of coercion and extortion that are being used by suspects to intimidate victims as well as witnesses before appearing into a courtroom setting. First of all, to be honest, a person who walks on earth should always be able to do the things that they intend to do. To be honest, there are individuals who are so slick that they have a tendency to try to brainwash their victims to doing things that they normally would not do.

This applies to those who are kidnapped victims who are held captive by their suspects until rescued by law enforcement. I really do not understand why someone would try to influence the behavior of another person to engage in a specified form of deviant behavior or behaviors. Why would someone control the mind of another or even influence another person in a negative way?

Witness intimidation as well as other forms of intimidation of others exists when it comes to a certain group of people. This is a behavior that is used by those who are excessively controlling.

This is a domineering person that I am talking about who is responsible for scamming me out of my money. This person is a man that is between the ages of 35 to 50 years old. This person that I am referring to comes from a country which is densely populated and is one who is of African Descent. This gentleman has numerous of people that are in his company right now. This person is one of those who are responsible for scamming as many as over 100,000 to 2,000,000 people within the past 20 years. I am talking about the person who has scammed me as well as their cohorts. These people as well as his members of his specified group are classified as cyber-stalkers, cyber-cheaters, and cyber-bullies in the process. Seriously, these people as well as their associates are located anywhere in the United States or around the world engaging in violent crimes.

Their still obtaining electronic wire funds from other men worldwide. This illustrious group also engages in computer hacking when it comes to internet systems. Illegal wiretapping is also used in most cases. Although this group has the capability of also interrupting the bio computers of their intended victims, they are still armed and dangerous. A bio computer is the human brain. The brain itself is a very sensitive organ that is capable of processing and receiving data just like the analytical machine which is called the computer. The person who invented the computer is named Charles Babbage. Why would criminals enter inside of the bio computer of human beings? The answer to this question is to intimidate others or to injure them in some kind of way. In some cases, this is also used to distract or disrupt the lives of others. This also invades their personal privacy.

Leviticus 25:35-37 Meaning and Interpretation

Leviticus 25:35-37: Meaning and Interpretation of The Bible Verses.  It says as follows; If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you.  Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that they may continue to live among you. You must not lend them money at interest or sell them food at a profit.

What does it mean to Do Things in Order

Good Day Everyone!! I would like to start this essay off by asking one question. What does it mean to do things in order? First, let’s obtain the definition of the word order. The definition of the word order is the sequence of words in a sentence, especially as governed by grammatical rules and as affecting meaning. Another definition of the word order has a lot to do with setting boundaries and limits when it comes to behavior. Next, I want to add that order when it comes to the Bible has a lot to do with obeying God’s word. I know that when a child is growing up, they learn how to do certain things from being around their parents. For example, a child is supposed to listen to their parents, and others that are involved in their life. As long as the guidance is conducted in a positive manner. When it comes to following God’s word, it is imperative for all of us as human beings to listen and obey God in the same way we did our earthly parents. Moreover, I want to inform everyone that I am a Born Again Christian man who adheres to God’s Holy word. I will admit that I am not perfect. I will say that I am a follower and a doer of the word of God. Some might judge me and say that I am a borderline Christian. I do not view myself as being inadequate in any way. It is that I will admit that I have allowed myself to fall for the foolishness of this world. In Addition, I would like to apologize to everyone for the things that I have been doing that were distasteful to God Himself. Like they say, only God can judge me. Mankind only have an opinion about me as a person. God has the final word. I would like to say that I am a very good person who has a lot of common sense. I also want to mention that it is our job to do the Great Commission. I will say this that I still need help and prayer along in my journey to serve the Lord and spread the latter rains to everyone that I come in contact with each day of my life. Finally, I want to mention to everyone that our bodies belong to God. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; that is inside of me right now. Therefore, I am me and I am okay with myself today because I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have been clean and sober from alcohol and drugs for the past 28 years. My sobriety date is May 2, 1990. I take my recovery and life very seriously. I love all of you very much as people. I love all of you in the same way that Jesus Christ loves everyone. I will say that I am a human being and a Child of God first and foremost. In Conclusion, I want to say that the poem that I have on the next page pertains to all people. It is called the I am Me Poem. When it comes to maintaining order for God, I take that very seriously. Order to me gives me an opportunity to get things right before I leave earth. I know that I have had a lot of things to do in order to change for the better. I am very happy to have Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

Prayer for the rough times

Dear God, I pray that in the tough times and in the times thing might not make sense, may you remind me of the bigger picture. When I have to let go of things that do not glorify you, no matter how much they mean to me, may you remind me of the bigger picture so I do not get caught up in fear or regret. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Jeremiah 16:17-18 And What It Means for All People.

Jeremiah 16:17-18, and What It Means for All People.

By: Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Jeremiah 16:17 Says: For mine eyes are upon their ways: they are not hiding from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.  This means that God even knows when we are sinning.  There are times when He will confront us in our face.  He will make things very difficult for you if you keep disrespecting Him.

There are times when I thought that God was not watching me sin, but He was recording it.  This is very serious because God can put an end to Mankind anytime He wants.  This is simply because of disobedience.  One of the reasons why God is angry is because of same sex marriages.  A man and a woman cannot marry the same sex.  It is inside of the Holy Bible.

Next, I want to inform all of you that man is not in charge of this world.  I understand that God gives us a choice and a free will.  It does not mean that a man can sleep with another man, as if the other man is a woman.  The same applies to women.  To be perfectly frank with all of you, God is mad at all of us.

There are times when God will allow you to be in a depraved mind as if in Romans 1:28-32.  This is a very serious problem.  There are some who will join Him in Paradise.  I want to join God and Jesus Christ inside of the Paradise that they are talking about.  If you want to know the truth, Romans 3:23: All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.  This includes myself!!  I am a sinner who needs God’s grace and mercy.

For my eyes are on all their ways.  They are not hidden from my face neither is their iniquity concealed from my eyes.  This is very serious.  I want a chance to join God in heaven.  I will admit that I have been listening to music just to drown out the voices that I hear each day that are not the Holy Spirit.  I have been hearing voices for 13 years now.  The voices are demonic in nature.  I did not do anything to deserve this form of punishment.

Further, I would like to share the definition of the word iniquity.  An iniquity is immoral or grossly unfair behavior.  This is something that is totally distasteful to God and human beings alike.  It is a behavior that is very hard to discuss online.  Whereas, a transgression is an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct; an offense.  God is taking everything very seriously.  What is the definition of the word sin?  A sin is an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct; an offense.

What is the full meaning of sin?

an offense against

noun (1) ˈsin.: an offense against religious or moral law.: an action that is or is felt to be highly reprehensible.

Jeremiah 16:18 Meaning and Interpretation

Jeremiah 16:18 WEB Says: First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.  The definition of the word recompense is to make amends to (someone) for loss or harm suffered; compensate. A compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered or effort made.

Therefore, God will have to clean everything up Himself.  God is willing for man to repent of their sins.  God is going to stop his wrath against Mankind.  Man, Women, and Children will have to yield to God.  Mankind will have to completely change their behavior.  This means that the US Government will have to revise everything as far as their laws is concerned.  Mankind will have to stop acting like savages.

In Conclusion, the entire planet will have to submit to God’s Will.  This means that all sin must cease.  God will have to make sure that man cannot back down on their agreements.

Marriage

Dear God, I commit my marital life into your hands. Father, when it comes to finding a spouse, I pray that I find someone who loves you as much as I love you. May you always be involved in every decision we make and every step we take. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Songs of Praise

1 In that day you will say: “I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation.”

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

In that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.

Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”

Isaiah 12:6 - Joy

Isaiah 12 Commentary

Chapter 12

This is a hymn of praise suited to the times of the Messiah.

– The song of praise in this chapter is suitable for the return of the outcasts of Israel from their long captivity, but it is especially suitable to the case of a sinner, when he first finds peace and joy in believing; to that of a believer, when his peace is renewed after corrections for backslidings; and to that of the whole company of the redeemed, when they meet before the throne of God in heaven. The promise is sure, and the blessings contained in it are very rich; and the benefits enjoyed through Jesus Christ, call for the most enlarged thanksgivings. By Jesus Christ, the Root of Jesse, the Divine anger against mankind was turned away, for he is our Peace. Those to whom God is reconciled, he comforts. They are taught to triumph in God and their interest in him. I will trust him to prepare me for his salvation, and preserve me to it. I will trust him with all my concerns, not doubting but he will make all to work for good. Faith in God is a sovereign remedy against tormenting fears. Many Christians have God for their strength, who have him not for their song; they walk in darkness: but those who have God for their strength ought to make him their song; that is, give him the glory of it, and take to themselves the comfort of it. This salvation is from the love of God the Father, it comes to us through God the Son, it is applied by the new-creating power of God the Spirit. When this is seen by faith, the trembling sinner learns to hope in God, and is delivered from fear. The purifying and sanctifying influences of the Holy Ghost often are denoted under the emblem of springing water. This work flows through the mediation of Christ, and is conveyed to our souls by means of God’s ordinances. Blessed be God, we have wells of salvation opened on every side, and may draw from them the waters of life and consolation. In the second part of this gospel song, ver. ( 4-6 ) , believers encourage one another to praise God, and seek to draw others to join them in it. No difference of opinions about the times and seasons, and other such matters, ought to divide the hearts of Christians. Let it be our care that we may be placed amongst those to whom he will say, Come, ye blessed of my Father, receive the kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of the world.

Chapter Summary

INTRODUCTION TO ISAIAH 12

This chapter contains a song of praise and thanksgiving for redemption and salvation by Christ, of which the preceding chapter Isa 11:1-16 is a famous prophecy. It begins with an account of the church’s former uncomfortable and now comfortable state and condition, Isa 12:1 the foundation of whose comfort was Christ her salvation and strength, and so her song, which engaged her trust, and dispelled her fears, Isa 12:2 hence encouragement to others to apply to the fulness of Christ for grace, and fresh supplies of it, to be had with joy, Isa 12:3 and then follow certain mutual exhortations to praise, exalt, and glorify Christ, with reasons enforcing them, Isa 12:4-6.
