        Praise The Lord Saints!!  Praise The Lord!!  How are all of you doing today?  Fine, I hope.  What does the Bible say about the word doctrine?  What is an example of doctrine? An example of doctrine is the Truman Doctrine that said the US would work to contain the Soviet Union. Doctrine is defined as a principle or group of principles which are taught by a religion or political party. An example of doctrine is the teaching of the Ten Commandments in Christianity. 

Doctrine (from Latin: doctrina, meaning “teaching” or “instruction”) is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions, taught principles or positions, as the essence of teachings in a given branch of knowledge or in a belief system. The etymological Greek analogue is “catechism”.  What is the true doctrine?

Celsus’s own beliefs, the “true doctrine” referenced in his title, is that of Platonism which from a modern materialist perspective has its own issues of supernatural and thus unproved claims and assumptions. Yet this Platonism is not central to his critique of early Christianity.

       Are we supposed to use a rod to punish a child?  A rod is a metal object that is used in construction.  A rod is a thin straight bar especially that is made up of wood or metal.  When it comes to disciplining a child, a belt is used.  According to WHIO TV Channel 7 in Dayton, Ohio.  On Thursday October 28. 2021, a father of a ten-year-old child was sentenced to 51 years in prison for killing his son. 

The mother and friend of the family received prison sentences for participating in the crime.  Recently, another child was beaten 200 times with a belt in Springfield, Ohio.  A Biblical example comes from Proverbs 23:13. This Bible verse says Do not withhold correction from a child for if you beat him with a rod he will not die.  I guess the two examples of the incidents in the State of Ohio proves that the parents took things too far. 

Next, when it comes to these Bible verses, the parents did not exercise better judgment.  Another example of violence took place in Hamilton, Ohio.  A parent of a 6-year-old boy killed her son by dragging him with her car.  She attempted to give the child to the authorities prior to killing him, and throwing his body inside of the Ohio River.  Proverbs 23:14 says You shall beat him or her with a rod because you are delivering his or her soul from hell.  Is this a true statement?  Some parents are taking his too far. 

Proverbs 20:11 says Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right.  This Bible verse is true.  I say this because a child learns how to sin from watching their parents.  When it comes to Proverbs 23:13-14, parents will have to exercise self-control.  In 2021 standards, some parents considers their children as their best friend. 

Are we sticking to a script in our daily lives?

        I have a very important question to ask everyone.  Are we sticking to a script in our daily lives?  When it comes to a parenting relationship, an average mother and father stick to their roles as parents of children.  This is because a person is trying to guide another person in the right direction.  When it comes to a script, it is a set of behaviors that are designed to gain an advantage or changing the behavior of another. Do not let anyone laugh you out of doing God’s work.

 John 10:10 says the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  This is because Satan and demonic spirits are sticking to a script.                  Its purpose is to annihilate everyone on earth.  They also have a program of destruction with the use of mind games. Therefore, Satan is the master deceiver. 

Currently, there are a very small number of individuals who are incarcerated or are sent to institutions to serve a sentence for crimes that they have committed. Satan is the accuser of the brethren.

 There are those who are deemed as mentally ill or have a psychosis.  Let’s look at the definition of the word psychosis.  The definition of the word psychosis is when someone who has lost touch with reality.  Some would say that the behavior fits the crime.  However, if a person exhibits a specific behavior, in some cases, it does not mean that they are unfit to be in society.

 It is that they are in need of additional help.  Therefore, these individuals are assigned to a Case Manager.  A case manager’s job is to stick to a script consisting of modifying the behavior of their clients.  At least this is what they are trying to do.  Even though I have been perceived as mentally ill.  If the Lord’s Will, my job is to study and to analyze human behavior myself.

  I want to inform everyone that I have experience in working as a Youth Counselor from 1993-1996 while living in Toledo, Ohio.  I have maintained a license as a Social Work Assistant from the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board from 1993-2010.  I also would like to inform all of you that I have experience working in College and University Libraries.  I have a total of 12 years of experience.

The Beatitudes by Anthony Joseph Hopkins

        Good Day Everyone!!  My name is Anthony Joseph Hopkins and I am discussing the Beatitudes in the Book of Matthew 5:3-10.  First, I want to inform all of you that the Beatitudes are great for the soul.  I want to say that the Beatitudes are an excellent source in the Bible.  Starting with the first Beatitude is Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  When it comes to this Beatitude, it means that the poor in spirit shall inherit the kingdom of heaven.  What does it mean to be poor in spirit?  The answer to this question is as follows:

 The poor in spirit is ‘Poor in spirit’ is an odd phrase to modern ears, outside religious circles anyway. The traditional explanation, especially among evangelicals, is that it means people who recognize their own spiritual poverty, their need for God. Blessed are those who mourn is taken to mean people who repent and mourn for their sins.

Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.  This means that whenever we mourn over our love ones, we are being comforted by God.  The word mourn means to become sorrowful or crying.  Feel or show deep sorrow or regret for (someone or their death), typically by following conventions such as the wearing of black clothes.

        Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.  The word meek means humble.  What does Jesus mean by Meek? We now come to the third Beatitude:

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Meekness is not a word typically seen in your average Facebook status or Twitter post. When people do use this word, they generally mean submissive, easily lead, or impressionable.  The word meek means quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness sake, for they will be filled.  The phrase for righteousness sake means to endure persecution for the sake of righteousness requires uncompromising faithfulness to God despite every threat and pressure.

Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.  The work mercy means compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.  So, to me, mercy is a “love that responds to human need in an unexpected or unmerited way.” At its core, mercy is forgiveness. The Bible speaks of God’s love for sinners – that is, for all of us. But the Bible also relates mercy to other qualities beyond love and forgiveness.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.  The Pure in Heart Means to “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). “This verse means people that go all out, not halfway, will see God,” says Matthew, age 9. … “If your heart is good and doesn’t think bad things, you shall see God,” says William, 10. 

A pure heart is a heart that has warmth and comfort, that will make others feel cared for and in safe hands. This heart does not have a limit in giving, it does not limit welcoming others, and its doors will always be open for those who are in need.  Blessed are the peacemakers for Peacemakers‘ Mean? 1 Peter 3:14 says But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.  Do not fear their threats, do not be frightened.  There is a gentleman, who is afraid himself.  He has a weapon and doesn’t know how to use it.  This young man is angry with me because he lost his job over a misunderstanding.  All this is a misunderstanding between two people that are going in different places in life.  The first person is myself.  The second is one of my accusers.  At least he had a job and a promising future.  Me, myself, I have written two books in one year.  My books are not selling right now.  Perhaps, I should have put more effort into it.  Whereas, the other person feels depressed right now.  Mom always told me to never allowed a monkey to stop my show.  I say that, just to say this if a man doesn’t work, he doesn’t eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10.  Meanwhile, I was truthful in my matters.  All I am saying is never allow a misunderstanding to get worse.  It’s a sore that doesn’t heal.  The sore itself gets infected. The battle is not yours but God’s.

The Battle has already been won, long before we all were born.  Frankly, I have been shot before.  When a man looks directly at his accusers, he has already been identified by God.  It looks like I am taking a little trip.  It happened before, on October 19, 1979, I was a freshman in high school when my closes friend shot me in the right leg.  At least I have something to remember it by.  I had surgery to repair a problem that is 40 years old.  I remember on Monday October 30, 2006, I had jaw surgery on my right side of my face.  I didn’t know that my right mandible was fractured.  I guess if I didn’t go to the dentist, I would have bled to death.  My bone marrow was leaking from my jaw.  What makes this situation different is that we are two African American Men, who are going through different paths of life.  Frankly, I took advantage of what the US Government has given all of us.  That is called Stimulus Money.  I decided to use my money to publish two books.  I got into trouble for fraud, but My charges were dropped because I used my stimulus money to publish two books.  The first one is called Essays and the second one is called My Grace is Sufficient for Me.  It was a present for myself.  The battle is not yours but God’s.  I have my tax documents to prove that I have earned money from selling my Intellectual property.  I didn’t earn very much money.  I guess it was the thought that counts.

Today is a brand new day for all of us.  It is an opportunity to make things happen in a positive way.  Lord God, I want to thank you for waking me up this morning.  I thank you for keeping it real with me.  Lord God I laugh right now because life itself is precious.  Life is really what you make out of it.  Life is a course that we choose to make.  At least for me, I have had it all.  To lose it it is a choice that I make for myself.  Right Now, I prefer to share my love and wealth.  This is an opportunity for two men to make a life for themselves.  All that we have is today.  Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.  If you read Proverbs 27:1 it states that do not boast about tomorrow for you never know what a day may bring forth.

Ephesians 5:1-2: And What It Means to All People!!  By Anthony Joseph Hopkins October 31, 2020

        Praise the Lord Saints!!  Praise the Lord Everyone!!  How are all of you doing today?  Fine, I hope.  I would like to start this essay off by asking a very important question.  How do you go by becoming an imitator of Jesus Christ?  I am asking this question because I had to learn how to become an imitator of Jesus Christ from being around my mother, grandmothers, aunt, and from my grandfather. 

Next, I want to say to everyone that I really need your prayers right now.  I want to be transparent by saying that I had to start all over again.  This is because I am a hoarder; I am a very lazy person.  I also want to say that my apartment is very messy.  I have been very generous to everyone else except myself.

Furthermore, I also want to say is that I help others more than myself.  I realize that right now that the money that we earn each month does not belong to us.  Our money belongs to God.  The air that we breathe out of our mouth does not belong to us.  According to Psalm 144:4 says: Man is like a breath.  His days is like a passing shadow.

How do we learn to become imitators of Jesus Christ as dear children?  First, we have to make an honest omission and confession to God, to ourselves, and to others.  We have to let go and let God.  We have to give God an opportunity to work in our lives.  I will admit that I hear voices that others do not hear.  These voices are not the Holy Spirit.  I listen to secular music from Mary J. Blige because it soothes me from hearing the voices.

Frankly, I suffer from a mental illness called schizoid affective disorder.  This means that I suffer from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder at the same time.  I do not want to be labeled as a double minded person.  I have been listening to church sermons rather than secular music.  I am very overwhelmed by the voices that I hear that other people do not hear.

I am completely ready to submit to God.  I have to learn how to take salvation very seriously.  Another Example, is that my neighbors, who live inside of my apartment building play loud music all night long.  They also drink alcohol, and smoke marijuana.  I have been living inside of my apartment for almost 12 years now.

In Addition, I attend Fort McKinley United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio.  I have been a member of the church for almost 8 years now.  I am a Christian man.  I am confessing my faults and trespasses to everyone.  My neighbors keep me up all night by playing loud music.  They smoke cigarettes inside of the hallway inside of my apartment building.  It bothers me because I suffer from asthma right now.

Finally, I still have a question to ask.  How do you really deal with very difficult people?  My neighbors, who live on my floor are very apathetic.  I really need help this time around because I am trying my best to stay out of trouble.  Thank you for understanding me as a person.  I have been praying to God about my personal problems but God does not hear me because I am viewed as a sinner myself.

Is it True That God knows How Long We Will Live?

        This is an essay that will focus on the importance of how long man will live.  I would like to start things off by asking a question.  Is it true that God knows how long we will live?  The answer to this question is not very easy to respond.  However, according to Psalms 139:16 it says your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed. And in your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.

        Next, I did not know that God knows how long we are going to live according to His word.  This is very unusual because I thought that if we take care of ourselves and modify our lifestyle, we can live long on earth. Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the plans that I have toward you. Plans to prosper and a purpose.  Some translations states that for I knows the thoughts that I have towards you, plans to prosper and a purpose.  I really did not take things seriously regarding my life until May 2, 1990.  I started praying to God for a complete change in my personal life.

        Further, I want to inform all of you that it was not very easy for me growing up in Dayton, Ohio.  This is because I used to get beaten up by my sister, and other kids in school.  I know that I fought everyone for 28 years.  I even fought myself.  I just did not realize that the Bible has over 6,000 promises that are very true.  Anyway, I did not even know that God knows when we are going to see Him personally.

Psalms 56:8 says; You number my wanderings, put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in your book?  This means that God knows exactly what we are doing at all times.  This also means that God knows where we are going and when we rise in the morning.  He even knows the people that we are going to be with today.  God even knows so much about us that we cannot even understand it.  Job 27:3 says; As long as my breath is in me, and the breath of God in my nostrils.  Honestly, the things that we have as far as possessions are concerned, are worldly.  The air that we breathe does not belong to us. What is a nuclear family?

What is a nuclear family? The definition of a nuclear family consists of a mother, father, and the children that they have together. Here in the United States, the nuclear family has diminished. It only consists of a single mother or father raising their children. According to the United States Department of Vital Statistics, in the year 2013, there are over 70% of adults raising their own children all by themselves. This is a very serious problem!! This is simply because the majority of these single parents are women. There are over 60% of single women who are raising their own children. This is simply because of the fact that; the father is absent from the home. This is due to incarceration or death. In most cases, there are over 40% of single women who have children by different fathers. This means that the child was born out of wedlock.

I am speaking about this now because this is a very serious problem in this country. There are men and women who are having children by different people every single day. The expectations change because of the fact that a man or woman usually renege on their promises. In my case, I have not seen my own biological father in over 43 years. This is his fault because he did not tell my mother at the time that he was married to another woman. This is very painful because out of my mother’s 9 children, I am the only one who has a different father from the rest of my half siblings. Anytime that another person tells a person who is in this situation to “get over it.” It only causes a lot of damage to the person’s psyche. It affects them to the point that; a person who is experiencing this usually goes through a great deal of depression. This is simply because a person would like to see their absent parent before they die.

As far as the nuclear family is concerned, there are times when a person would choose not to have any children. This is simply because of financial hardships as well as other forms of hardships that tend to adversely affect the person who is going through this experience. This is not very easy to deal with because most parents, who are living right now, usually refuse to talk about their experiences as well as the past. Children who are growing up in the year 2013 are having a great deal of hardship and pain. The pain comes from not having a father or their own biological father in their life. There are children today who are involved in blended families a whole lot more than ever before. During the time that I grew up, I had my grandparents who raised me when my own mother was not able to. I relied on extended family, which composed of my grandmothers, aunt, uncle, as well as cousins. This is exactly what is really going on right now. A child has to spend most of his time with other relatives instead of his or her own siblings.

The nuclear family will not exist within the next 10 to 20 years. The reason why is because women are taking care of their own children all by themselves. Furthermore, they are also refusing to have additional children for personal reasons. I really think there is a great deal of resentment out there because of the fact that a man refuse to take care of his responsibilities. This also applies to women as well. There are women who are heavily dependent on street drugs. This causes the courts to get involved and physically remove the children from the home. There are crimes such as domestic violence, which has gone up 500% within the past 10 years. This is simply because women or men are engaging in this crime.

This particular crime disrupts the home and it also has an adverse affect on the family. When it comes to the nuclear family, it is time for both men and women to step up to the plate and take care of their own children. It is time for men and women to step up to the plate and address the issues of each child that is inside of the home. There are times when men and women refuse to attend parent child school related conferences. There are a lot of bad choices being made by both parents; especially when it comes to dealing with the family. This is not a very easy topic to address to neither the public nor the family as a whole. Jesus Christ really needs to come down from heaven and address issues such as the nuclear family. Can a man, woman, or child walk in their own way? The answer is no!! It is God that walks with man, woman, and child each day of their personal lives. Jeremiah 10:23 says O Lord, I know that the way of a man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps. It is God each and every single time. God is doing the work us more than we are doing for ourselves. This is the truth because the air that we breathe does not belong to us. It is God who gives us life and it is God who can take life away from us. If a person thinks that he or she is doing everything all by themselves, they are really fooling themselves. This goes for the best of us as well as those who are struggling. Proverbs 21:2 says every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord ponders the hearts. This means that God knows the hearts of mankind as well as every single thought that comes out of the minds of human beings. If a man thinks that he is doing it all by himself, he is dead wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can’t understand your own way and this is inside of the Bible. Man cannot become superior to God, nor can he replace God. This is very serious because there are a lot of people who really think that they are doing everything all by themselves. It is either God or Satan who is giving you direction. Anytime; that a person thinks that he has accomplished everything in their personal lives all by themselves, but they didn’t. It was God who was really directing your path and no one else, unless you are a non believer to begin with. I am allowing God to direct my path from here on out because I actually thought at one point that I can do everything all by myself, but I was wrong. It was God doing for me more than I was actually doing for myself. I have had people praying for me every step of the way. I also made an effort to change without the use of man’s devices.

John 14:26 says but the comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the father will send in my name , he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remember whatever I say to you. This means that man already have a helper in advance; as long as he continues to believe in God and serve Him. The advocate will teach you all things and will remind a person of the things that they need to do and do it right!! John 14:16 says and I will pray to the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever. This means that this comforter will assist you and give you instructions that you need to adhere to. Jesus says this to his disciples before He ascended into heaven to be with His father.

We have to repent of our sins on a daily basis and carry our cross and follow Him forever. We must pray for each other and confess our faults to one another according to James the 5th chapter inside of the Holy Bible. Acts 5:29 says Peter and the other apostles replied: we must obey God rather than human beings. This means that we already have someone that we must adhere to on a daily basis rather than the laws of man. Man himself cannot save me and he knows this for himself. The laws that man has for others to comply with and adhere to on a daily basis cannot save me either. I would like to give everyone an example, anytime a man will have to make annual appearances to Probate Court for a crime that was committed over 2 years ago, then you know something is definitely wrong. This means that this person is being oppressed and condemned already on a daily basis by man’s laws and courts.

An example of this offense consists of making a phone call to a church requesting for prayer and the church called the police on me on November 22, 2011. This does not make any sense. This is the reason why I really would like confront my accusers myself and make sure that I am able to resolve this issue simply because the courts and everywhere else are treating me like a slave. It does not make any sense at all. I also have to take a forensic examination each year for what? It does not make any sense to me personally. This is making me feel as if I have already been estranged from my own family and community. The definition of estrange means to remove from an environment, family, or community.

John 14:16 says and I will pray to the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever. This means that this comforter will assist you and give you instructions that you need to adhere to. Jesus says this to his disciples before He ascended into heaven to be with His father.

We have to repent of our sins on a daily basis and carry our cross and follow Him forever. We must pray for each other and confess our faults to one another according to James the 5th chapter inside of the Holy Bible. Acts 5:29 says Peter and the other apostles replied: we must obey God rather than human beings. This means that we already have someone that we must adhere to on a daily basis rather than the laws of man. Man himself cannot save me and he knows this for himself. The laws that man has for others to comply with and adhere to on a daily basis cannot save me either. I would like to give everyone an example, anytime a man will have to make annual appearances to Probate Court for a crime that was committed over 2 years ago, then you know something is definitely wrong. This means that this person is being oppressed and condemned already on a daily basis by man’s laws and courts.

An example of this offense consists of making a phone call to a church requesting for prayer and the church called the police on me on November 22, 2011. This does not make any sense. This is the reason why I really would like confront my accusers myself and make sure that I am able to resolve this issue simply because the courts and everywhere else are treating me like a slave. It does not make any sense at all. I also have to take a forensic examination each year for what? It does not make any sense to me personally. This is making me feel as if I have already been estranged from my own family and community. The definition of estrange means to remove from an environment, family, or community.
