What Does The Bible Say About Prayer?

How to Talk to God: What Does the Bible Say about Prayer?

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” -1 John 5:14

Human beings are relational. Created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), our Father desires a personal relationship with us (John 3:16). The all-transcending, omnipotently sovereign God (Isaiah 46:9) is incredibly personal. He is aware, present, and compassionately involved in every detail of who we are (Psalm 18:30; 116:5). God does not require us to grow into a different version of ourselves in order to gain access to Him (Micah 7:18-19). He is here . . . now (Joshua 1:8-9); He hears us when we speak, especially to Him. (1 John 5:14) He faithfully holds true to His promise to be close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and to love us unfailingly (2 Peter 3:9).

God desires our communication with Him. The biggest stretch of our faith is perhaps the inaudible moving of our God. Present-day people claim to hear from God via dreams. He probably isn’t going to light a shrub on fire in our front yards to get our attention as He did through Moses and the burning bush. Yet, because of Jesus, His presence is no less palpable. How do we ignite conversation with our Almighty God? Through prayer. Because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we can talk to God and He back to us. Prayer teaches us how.

Is Talking to God the Same as Praying?
Prayer runs alongside worship in regard to the different ways in which we express our faith. Carefully memorized prayers repeated religiously, journaled thoughts, silent sacred moments with God, and hearts poured out through song all grab God’s attention. Our Father’s focus is on the content of the conversation more so than the delivery.

The invisible presence of our all-present God fuels the radical part of our faith. Talking to Him in the car, out on a run, in a church sanctuary or Bible study full of heads bowed. We can talk to God anywhere, anytime. In the real and raw life moments that leave us speechless, the gift of salvation flexes its most important muscle: The Holy Spirit.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” -Romans 8:26-27

What Does the Bible Say about Speaking to God?
Scripture is riddled with verses about prayer and verses instructing us how to pray. Jesus, Himself, gave us the greatest lesson on prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. A prayer that we have prayed in the English language for five hundred years.

“Pray then like this:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.”

In a desiringGod.org article, John Piper stated: “Jesus is teaching us how to pray to our Father -not to God in general, but to God as our Father.” In his study of these prayerful verses in Scripture, Piper further explained the definition of hallowed: “We regard him as holy, see him as holy, sense him as holy, stand in awe of him as holy.”He also reminds us it’s essential to feel reverence toward God beyond regarding it as fact. “The devil sees it,” Piper explained, “…the demon said to Jesus, ‘I know who you are- the Holy One of God’” (Mark 1:24).

Many biblical heroes prayed God’s will over their own. As Jesus faced the cross, He prayed for God to take it away — but then sealed His heart’s intentions with, “but your will be done.” The Book of Proverbs, written by the great and wise King Solomon, says the root of all wisdom is fear of the Lord. (Proverbs 1:7) Authentic prayer begins with a heart reverently devoted to God. The Holy Spirit searches our hearts and knows its intentions and motivations. Regularly watering our hearts in God’s Word fosters genuine prayer. When we submit our lives into His sovereign hands, we can confidently pray, “Your will be done,” just as Jesus taught.

3 Ways to Communicate with God
1. Talking to God through Prayer
There are many methods and acronyms to help guide us in how to pray, one of the most popular being A.C.T.S: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication. Adoration sets our hearts right, giving praise to God for who He is. Confession expresses what Christ accomplished. Through salvation, our confessed sins are forgiven (1 John 1:9). Thanksgiving moves our hearts toward a state of gratefulness (As we grow with Christ even our trials begin to make it onto to this list). Supplication represents our prayer requests for help, healing, blessing, and beyond.

Could Someone Please Tell Me Whether Matthew 8:22 and Matthew 22:32 Goes Hand in Hand?
By: Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Good Day Everyone!! I would like to ask everyone a very important question. Could someone please tell me whether Matthew 8:22 and Matthew 22:32 goes hand in hand? I am asking this question because I am concerned about those who are spiritually dead and lost. If someone is spiritually dead, they do not believe in God or Jesus Christ. Matthew 8:22 says: But Jesus said unto them, follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. Jesus is giving us a choice to follow Him. I would follow Jesus Christ and serve Him for the rest of my life. I guess I was misquoting the scriptures; but I was making a point to one of my family members because she has been placing too much emphasis on dead people all of her whole life.

She was getting me to send her obituaries of people that she did not know. It is making me frustrated because she can do this work for herself. In Matthew 22:32 says: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. I am only trying to gently admonish someone for placing emphasis on dead people all of the time. Am I wrong for telling someone to stop emphasizing the dead? My point that I am trying to make is that God is a God of the Living only. I can understand that people can be spiritually dead and spiritually blind simultaneously. There is a difference between spiritual death and being spiritually blind. All I am simply saying is that there is a time and a season for everything. There are some people, who do not have anything constructive to do, but emphasize death and especially collect obituaries of dead people.

It is okay to mourn. However, it becomes an obsession to place emphasis on the death of others. I want to give the definition of the words spiritual death and spiritual blindness. First, the definition of the word spiritual death is another, narrow, “purified” meaning of “spiritual death” is “death in a spiritual way”, “to die being a spiritual person, not being an atheist”. Thus this means that “spiritual death” relates to two self’s: soul (real self, which is eternal), and ego (false self, which is temporary or material). Whereas, spiritual blindness is Author has 560 answers and 551.4k answer views. That’s a great question. Strictly speaking — “Spiritual blindness” refers to a spiritual state where you hold fast to unbiblical teachings and beliefs and as a consequence quickly dismiss true biblical teachings because they conflict with yours.
For those people, who have a preoccupation with death, I will have to pray for you. The question that I have to ask is are you satisfied with not having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ? For me personally, I would rather have a relationship with Jesus Christ, than to place emphasis on death. I am completely satisfied with my relationship with Jesus Christ. I need to pray more each day.
I am very sorry, but I do not endorse death, nor do I have a preoccupation with the death of others. I am very concerned about my family members, who have this issue because I am getting slightly irritated because it is like she wants me to get involved in her activities. I will admit that I think about my mother and family members, who are not here with me. I have had fond memories of everyone that I know. It is that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior right now, and I am content with going to heaven.
2nd Corinthians 4:3-4 says: But even if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. All of this means that Satan is capable of causing some people to be spiritually blinded and completely confused until the gospel of Christ Jesus shines on them.

James 5:19-20

The Meaning of James 5:19-20, and how it applies to others.

First, I want to say that I have been losing friends as of late simply because of what I have been writing lately. I sure did not realize that what is inside of the Bible really offends others. There are certain subjects that I am trying to discuss with the general public, and suddenly I end of getting the worse end of things.

Second, I would like to expound on the meaning of James 5:19-20. I want to inform all of you that if anyone of my fellow colleagues and family members err from the truth, I am supposed to help them in a spirit of gentleness. However, I have to say that we all sin. There are times when I get hurt in one way or another. I want to be frank that I am supposed to help everyone that is in need. I try not to get tripped up in any way by others. It is that I am trying to make an impact for Jesus Christ.
Galatians 6:1 and James 5:19-20 goes hand in hand to me personally because it all about helping my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. I know that I am not perfect, but I am imitating Jesus Christ with my behavior.
Third, I want to say that it is about restoring lives and improving our communities. I want to apologize for my actions if I have offended anyone with the information that I am sharing with people. I am very sorry if I have hurt you with sharing the truth. The message that I am conveying is coming right out of the Bible.

I am only saying that everything is right out of the Bible. I am realizing that our communities are inundated with many forms of immorality that it is a shame. I am making a difference because I am doing my very best to stop using vulgarity and getting upset over things that are trivial to me. If I am losing friends, then, these individuals did not know me or love me in any way. I am not going to stop loving others. Whatever the Lord put inside of my heart through the use of the Holy Spirit, I have to share it with the public.

I would like to say that I am not better than the next person because I have faults and weaknesses just like everyone else. At least, I can admit when I am wrong. I can apologize for my mistakes because there are many mistakes that I have made in my life. When it comes to these Bible verses, I can say that I am trying to clean up my side of the street. I would like for everyone to meditate on these Bible verses because it is obtained right out of the Good Book.
Fourth, I would like to read the Bible verses because this is the truth. I am supposed to love everyone until I pass away. I know that even though James 5:19-20 specifically states that I am look out for anyone who errs from the truth and help them in the name of Jesus Christ. I am striving for spiritual progress rather than spiritual perfection. If any of you are in need, please do not be afraid to speak to me. If I can help you that is fine. Therefore, I do not have anything to hide from anyone on earth. If I cannot hide from God, why should I hide from anyone else? I am calling a spade a spade and it is coming right out of the Bible. I love you very much. Even if a person does not love me back, I am doing my job for Christ Jesus. Thank You Very Much!!

Spirituality As A Coping mechanism for a Mental Illness

Spirituality as a Coping Skill for Mental Illness

                                        By

                        Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Mental illness alone is very challenging for more than 40 million people living in the United States. People who struggle with the diagnosis of a mental illness find themselves struggling to make it. Frankly, there are people, who turn to their faith in God just to make it. Personally, I suffer from schizoid affective disorder. I have been suffering from a mental illness for almost 23 years now. Why having a serious mental illness would is so difficult?

For me, I hear voices that are not the Holy Spirit. In my report, I have found that spirituality is an often overlooked resource in mental illness recovery. My assessment of religious or spiritual beliefs are under researched, and in most cases, it is laughed at by the Mental Health Community. Honestly, most psychiatrist refuse to actually listen to their patients. Many psychiatrist and therapist that I have consulted with during the past 22 years, feel that my spirituality is pointless.

I will admit that I have benefitted from pastoral counseling more than consulting with a psychiatrist and therapist. There are three main reasons how people with a mental illness cope with their problem. First, through spirituality, as well as relying on a power that is greater than the person themselves. As for me, I attend Fort McKinley United Methodist Church. The address to the church is 3721 West Siebenthaler Avenue Dayton, Ohio 45406. I have attended Fort McKinley Church for 7 years now.

It helps me to cope much better with a mental illness by attending church as well as Bible study during the week. I feel a whole lot better when I am at church. Second, there are over 50 million people who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and a substance abuse problem. This statistic comes from the National Institute of Mental Health. People who suffer from a mental illness, at least some of them drink alcohol or self-medicate themselves just to cope with their problem. Third, another coping mechanism that some people have used is suicide. I remember on February 13, 2010; I tried to kill myself because I was responding to internal stimuli.

The voices that I was hearing told me to kill myself. Smolak, Gearing, Alonzo, Baldwin, Harmon, and McHugh (2013) reflected and reviewed 43 original research studies over the past 30 years. These people have discovered that patterns that were related or pertaining to religious beliefs and a patient’s recovery from a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia.

This observation found that religion and spirituality have a mostly positive association with mental illness recovery. However, the intensive observation indicated that spiritual perceptions of family, caregivers, the community at large, and professionals affiliated to the mental illness saw tremendous progress.

The results pointed out that religious themes were often evident in the perception of disease etiology, that family members and caregivers used religion as well as religious based professionals over mental health professionals. I would admit that working with a Pastor each week is much more feasible than dealing with a psychiatrist on a monthly basis. However, this report has better reflections of the patient.

It also has a better understanding of a patient’s spiritual and religious beliefs as it assists in improving coping with a mental illness better than relying on medication. Religion and spirituality in conjunction with mental illness recovery remained historically under emphasized and minimized by mental health professionals. This means that spirituality will have to be emphasized by the patient themselves as a means to better cope with their mental illness.

The report finished with the idea of how enhancing the treatment provider’s awareness of a patient’s religious and spiritual interaction may improve treatment outcomes. I would like to say that religion and spirituality is not emphasized during an average consultation or therapy session. The majority of professionals prefer the use of medication to eradicate mental illness. Corrigan, McCorkle, Schell, and Kidder (2003) studied a total of 1,824 patients living with serious mental illness, who also had significant functional disability, but did not engage in substance abuse.

The information pointed out that the self-reporting of spirituality and religion as well as measured outcomes in psychological well-being, psychiatric symptoms, and life goal achievement such as employment and housing. This study determined whether religion and spirituality yielded similar benefits in the lives of people challenged and suffering from a serious mental illness, but also determined if those same people benefitted differently from religion. The patient’s themselves participated in community activities and common ways of worshipping versus spirituality defined as thinking about one’s self as part of a larger spiritual force. (P. 488). This study found that patients who self-identified as religious or spiritual has a much greater sense of well-being, better coping skills, and diminished psychiatric symptoms.  There was also no difference in quality of life as far as employment and/or housing.

People who suffer from a serious mental illness usually advocate and assert that religion and spirituality serve essential recovery roles in that they may provide useful coping skills to help with stressors.  Also, as previously noted, mental health professionals tend not to be very religious; therefore, the differences between professionals and patients may lead to a gap in treatment as professionals fail to ask about beliefs.

This could lead to a failure to explore religion or spirituality as a means towards a therapeutic end.  There are conclusions from this study.  The raw facts suggests there may be a need for faith based programs to be integrated into recovery programs for people with serious mental illness.  In the future, more research is needed to determine the role of faith based programs and to more thoroughly examine the causes and effects of spirituality in the lives of people who suffer from mental illness.

In all cases, this study and examination serves to remind mental health professionals of the central role religion or spirituality often play in the lives of patients and to the fact that sensitivity to the patient’s needs in this area lead professionals to helping the patient find appropriate services and resources.

Women and minorities struggles with mental illness are much more intense than other races.  These patients were more likely to be religious and more likely to turn to their faith as a means of coping, getting better, and staying healthy.  These patients length of stay in a psychiatric ward was significantly shorter for patients who attend worship services or used religious thoughts and activities as one of the most important strategies to deal with their mental illness.

An initial spiritual assessment should focus on determining how patient’s spiritual beliefs and practices influences their functioning and recovery.  By doing so, mental health professionals will likely uncover strengths and resources that can be utilized to foster recovery.  Mental Health Professionals can also help patients focus on their capabilities and resilience as well as accessing and using other positive recovery oriented narratives drawn from the patient’s spiritual worldview in order to address their problems more efficiently.

Spiritual Assessment within the mental health area is under researched and given that spirituality and/or religion is identifiably a magnificent and positive part of serious mental illness recovery.  This needs to be a more widely researched and utilized avenues of social science.  In a society where mental illness can be isolating and stigmatizing label; spirituality can be a core identity to which almost everyone can find a community or ways to help make life with serious mental illness worth living.

What is Creationism?

What is Creationism?
This is an essay that pertains to the word creationism. What is the definition of the word creationism? Creationism is the belief that the universe and living organisms originate from specific acts of divine creation, as in the biblical account, rather than by natural processes such as evolution. It also pertains how man, woman, and beast came into existence. For example, in the Book of Genesis, it specifically states that God formed man from the dust of the ground, and He also breathed into the nostrils of man, and man came into existence.

Therefore, the air that we breathe does not belong to us. Whereas, woman is derived from man. This means that God is responsible for creating woman from man’s womb. Early on, God stated that man should be made in His image. Man and Woman are in the same image of God.
It was spoken, and everything came into existence. When it comes to mankind, God is solely responsible for creating all things. In evolution, it specifically states that man and beast have similarities. The only difference is that beasts does not have a spirit like man.
Next. When it comes to beast; they return to the ground in the same way that it came into existence. Ecclesiastes 12:7 says; then the dust will return to the earth as it was and the spirit will return to God who gave it. This means that when we die, our body returns to the ground, and the spirit returns to God. Job 32:8 states that; but there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. This means that man’s existence and understanding is derived from God. I will be perfectly honest with everyone that my existence was known in advance.

In the Book of Job Eli hue spoke to Job concerning his situation. I really like the Book of Job because it has a lot of very interesting Bible verses. Job lost everything and he also lost members of his own family. However, Job remained faithful with God. Job’s friends criticized him about his personal losses. Eventually, he was blessed by God.

According to Psalms 139:16, it states that God knew us when we were inside of the womb of woman. He also knows how long we are going to live. God knows all things. This is the reason why God’s thoughts and feelings are not like ours. This is the reason why I believe in God. I also believe that God came to earth; in the form of a man, born of a woman, and lived and died for the sins of mankind. This is the reason why I have Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

God has an assignment for all of us. We are also called to live for Him. I want all of you to know that God has special plans for all of us. This means that God is in charge of our lives. He has all of us here for a reason. God has a job for all of us to do while we are on this earth as well as heaven. This is the reason why my whole life as changed for the better. My life has changed because I have dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. Even though I do not have any children. God is in charge of my life right now.
Finally, I read God’s word out loud because I hear voices that are not the Holy Spirit. I refuse to live for Satan, man, and demonic spirits. I am very happy to be a child of the Most High God. Ephesians 2:10 says; For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. I am happy to be God’s Masterpiece. I am so happy to do His work by sharing my personal testimony with everyone that I know and do not know.
I know that I am a temple of the Living God. We are all God’s Children as well as the temple of the Living God. 1st Corinthians 3:16 says; do you not know that you are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you? Thank you for reading my essay.

Step 6 Character Defects

Were ready to ask God to remove our defects of character Step 6

Step 6 is a separation of people from themselves and others. When it comes to this step, we will have to prepare to let go of everything that is completely bothering us. Step 6 is like a mania, which is an object of excessive madness. Therefore, we must ask God to remove the madness in your life. Character defects are called sins.

God begins to work in our lives. Our foundation has to be prepared for our situations. These defects of character hurt us. They have also delayed us. Read Romans 7:14-25. This is called struggling with sin. Defects are the absence of something necessary or useful toward perfection. Read Genesis 1:31 and Isaiah 59:2. Character is its features and qualities that set you apart from others, such as unbelievers. Your character is what people know you by. It distinguishes who you are.

Next, I am asking God to remove all of these undesirable traits. Deeply ingrained patterns of behavior; which are called habits. A habit is a behavioral pattern that has been done numerous of times. This means that you have done it for an extended period of time. When it comes to generational curses, which are roots and branches are messed up through families. This is a cycle. They will not vanish overnight. We must be intentional in our own behavior with God.
God’s righteousness is credited to me. Through the power of the Holy Ghost sanctification takes place. Read Colossians 1:13. We begin to find a peace of joy, myself. People begin to say that I remember when. Replace all of our defects of character with good intentions. God will make your life better.

Read Luke 6:19. This is when power was coming from Him. Jesus Christ was healing everyone that came to Him. Read 2nd Corinthians 5:17. A complete transformation of our life is done through the power of the Holy Ghost. We begin to ask God to bind up our evil speaking, pride, and bad spirits. Read Ephesians 1:21. He is far above all principalities, powers right now and in the world to come. Read Galatians 5:22-23 and 2nd Corinthians 5:18-20. Read Ephesians 2:13.
A lack of power was my dilemma. Trade our character defects for Godly character. We are ambassadors of Jesus Christ. A tradition is something that is passed down. Read 1st John 2:23. Whoever has acknowledged the Father has acknowledged the Son also. Read Titus 2:14. Character defects are sins.

Read Ezekiel 36:26-27. The new life that we reach in Jesus Christ, we become a brand new person. Read 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4. This is called Spiritual Blindness. We must be willing to trade in our filthy mouth, cheating, porn, dishonesty, immorality, and our broken down self. Read 2nd Corinthians 2:10. This is the model of me. God is putting the pieces together. Friendships are restored as well as favor from estrangement.
1.Reconciliation with God
2.Pardon is excuse of an offense without penalty. It is an official release from punishment. The offender is release custody. Read Psalms 103:12.

Changing Society!!

What does it mean to live inside of a changing society?
What does it means to live inside of a changing society? This is a very great question to ask because of the changes that are being made on a daily basis by city, state, and federal government. Maybe, we need to look up the definition of the word society before I begin to expand on this particular subject. The meaning of the word society is; the community of people living in a particular region and having shared customs, laws, and organizations. This definition applies to all of us living inside of the planet earth. Although, it is not very easy living inside of the United States, simply because of its political system. Our political system consists of two chambers of government. For instance, our political system consists of the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. It also has a president as well as its cabinet members. This also include the United States Supreme Court, which is the highest court of the country.

Society itself is really made up of the above defined institutions; however, it is not very easy living here because this country has become poor over the past 30 years. For example, inside of the United States, we have to borrow money from other countries in order to survive. The countries national debt is over 15 trillion dollars. This is very serious. How are we going to reduce this national debt? The countries resources have been depleted over the past 15 years. It has been drained because the government has run completely out of money when it comes to dealing with the poor and needy inside of this country.
How come our money is running out so fast? This is simply because of the mistakes from the past. There was an emphasis on military spending at one point; for so many years. This is because our country was at war with a subculture. A subculture is a group of people that make up of a larger one. For instance, terrorism among groups such as Al Qaeda and others must be stopped. This is very serious. However, our USA borders must be protected from drug cartels as well as any additional threats that exist inside of the country. What does it really mean to live inside of a changing society?

The answer to this question is inside of the Holy Bible in the Book of Mark the 13th chapter. It talks about the end of times. An example of this is in verses 8 and 9, which indicates that; for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famine and troubles. These are the beginning of sorrows. In the 9th verse of Mark 13 says that but watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought to rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them. There are wars that exist right now that will determine the outcome of things.
An example of this is the war on terrorism, which has been existence since 2001. This is simply because of one man’s plan to stop the United States and its allies from doing things in the Middle East. This man as well as its subculture group has been stopped in certain parts of the world. At this time, more work must be done to bring things to a complete end. Inside of the United States right now, there is a battle between the democrats and the republicans over the national budget.

These two groups of people which make up our members of congress cannot come to an agreement on anything at the moment. It is a shame that everyone is blaming the president for all of what is going on nationwide. It is not his fault. It is the other party who is stalling when it pertains to making political decisions for our fellow citizens. It is a shame that; the Republican Party is the only party nationwide that has been a thorn in the side of its fellow citizens. What does it mean to live here at the moment? An answer to this question is I would rather stay here rather than live anywhere else.
Although, I am treated like a slave inside of my own country at the moment, I would prefer to stay in spite of the treatment that I am receiving at this time. The Probate Court System inside of the Montgomery County here in Dayton, Ohio has me making annual appearances based on one alleged behavior that was never explained in court. I am still being punished for what I have done from my past. It really does not make any sense to me. I also have to take a forensic examination each year. All of these things really do not make any sense.
I really do not understand all of this!! I have to live here in spite of all of the problems that I have had in my past. God has forgiven me for all of my actions and behaviors, but man and his court system refuses to forgive others. Matthew 18:21-22 Peter asked Jesus how many times, must I forgive my brother for hurting me up to seven times. Jesus said assuredly I say to you; you must forgive up to seventy times seven.

Envy

What is the definition of the word envy?
This is an essay that is based on the word envy. Let’s start off by asking a question. What is the definition of the word envy? The word envy mean being discontent over someone else’s desires or possessions. When it comes to the word envy, what really comes into mind for biblical sake is covetousness. Envy also has a lot to do with the fixations of the things that we do not have personally.
Next, the word envy and jealousy have the same connotation. Envy is a universal thing and it is very destructive. Envy is also hidden. It causes us to become distracted when it comes to God’s plan. This is also a barrier to withholding God’s will in our lives. It causes us to miss out on God’s plan for our lives. An example of this for me personally is when I used to have problems with my family members. The reason why this has happened in my life personally is because they were upset with me based on maintaining poor behavior.
Further, when it comes to envy, it denies our uniqueness in the eyes of the Lord. Also, let me inform everyone that I had been disappointed for most of my life. One reason or another, I will admit to having a fear of failure. I usually get down on myself and I tend to refuse to communicate because of my guilt and shame. Therefore, envy blinds you to your own self. You get a divided allegiance when it comes to envy. I can only be myself when it comes to living in a changing society.
Moreover, I want to indicate to everyone that I am not a perfect person. There was a period of time when I used to exaggerate things because I have my own cross to bear. I will admit that I am competitive when it comes to certain things. For instance, when it comes to employment, I will admit to being a type of person that usually challenge others by gaining an advantage so that I can get a job. I do have character defects that I really need to work on personally by giving it all to the Lord.
Finally, I want to say that I cannot serve God and my possessions. I have to choose between the two. I will admit to becoming selfish and impatient with myself. I also will admit to becoming a hoarder by collecting things that I do not need. It I lose them, I tend to get angry. I also will admit to acting like someone else. I tend to talk proper and I also adapt to a set standard. When you feel this way, you insult the Lord. I will admit to placing too much emphasis on politics and the things of the world. Romans 12:2 states; Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Envy also causes people to waste their time that God has deserved for you. I cannot be like anyone else. It is very important that we allow God to help us in our lives. Thank you for reading my essay.

Learning How To Respect Women!!

How important is it for men to learn to listen and respect women?

What do we mean for a boy or a man to learn how to listen and respect women? The answer to this very important question is simple? Communication is performed verbally and nonverbally between men, women, and children on a daily basis. When a boy is inside of the womb of its mother, communication has already been established. His mother is solely responsible for teaching him how to love, honor, cherish, and respect his mother and other women. As far as communication is concerned, this is done nonverbally at first with a child by the use of touch, looks and stares from the eyes of his mother as well as a mother’s innate abilities when it comes to childrearing practices are concerned.

Next, communication is also done verbally through the use of communicating with him in her own native language. However, from a nonverbal perspective is concerned, when a mother looks at a child, the child himself responds by the looks and stares from his mother. Also, when a boy hears his name being called, he is also responsive to her native calls for attention. When a child is between the ages of 0 to 3 years, a method of touch is important. This is very important because it is a form of attachment and bond between mother and child. Touch is also important even in our adult lives because it allows humans to feel appreciated as a member of the human race. Touch is very important because it is the first initial response to a child’s needs.

When a child cries, a parent has to see what is wrong with the child. Maybe, the child himself/herself has issues that need to be addressed. Touch is also therapeutic because it heals the body from infirmities and injuries. For instance, physical, mental, emotional, psychological, and psycho-social related injuries that can cause harm and permanent damages to people. This comes in the form of scarring that is extremely hard to heal; as long as there is a power that is greater than oneself to heal anyone from these social, emotional, mental, and psychological ills that people usually face on a regular basis.

From birth to 18 years, a boy learns how to respect his parents, sister, aunt, grandmother, as well as any other members of his family. Listening is very important!!!! When a boy learns how to listen to women, they respond by giving women respect for the person that she is as a member of the human race. Listening from a child’s perspective comes from learning and training that he receives from his own mother. Learning how to say yes madam and no madam to her is respect for one’s mother and elders as a whole if they are mature women. There are times when a child’s father is completely absent in his life. This adjustment for a child becomes extremely difficult. This is simply because a biological father is supposed to validate a child’s existence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For example, my biological father was never around so, I had to rely on my grandfather as well as caretakers that I had perceived as positive until I had found out otherwise!!!! There are times when the people who are deemed as stepfathers and those who are classified as being involved in a child’s mother’s life are not positive role models themselves. They are classified as replacements!!!! A replacement is just someone who is just taking up space inside of a household. This is classified as matter. The definition of matter is anything that takes up space!!! This is a scientific definition and it applies to everyday life.

A male child also learns how to respect his female siblings by calling her by her first name and respecting her as a person. Remember, a boy’s mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother are members of the immediate family; as well as members of the human race. As far as a boy becoming a man is concerned, he also has to learn how to demonstrate good communication skills as well as learning how to talk and listen to women. In most cases, there are times that boys do not demonstrate these skills when it comes to learning how to communicate with women and girls.

Learning How To Talk to Women!!

How to Talk, Listen, and to Understand Women!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very special blog on the importance of learning how to listen, talk, and to understand women. First, it is very important to understand that women are a creation of God Himself. Her creation is derived from the womb of man; who is named Adam. A rib of man was removed while he slept and afterwards his female counterpart was right directly in front of his face. Her name was Eve because she is an auxiliary for man. This meaning his counterpart or companion while joining him on earth. A woman is unique as a species because she is the bearer of children and she is very intelligent.

Second, in an institution of marriage, a man is supposed to leave his own parents home and join his wife and live with her inside of a house of their own. This is the institution of marriage. However, in contemporary times, women do not bear the last name of their own husbands. This is done for personal reasons. In some cases, this has a lot to do with pre-nuptial agreements that has been made prior to marriage. Also, in some cases, this has a lot to do with assets and information that couples cannot gain access to throughout the marriage.

Third, let’s get to the lesson of learning how to communicate with women. As children, a little boy is supposed to learn how to respect his own mother. This is first and foremost. This is by making sure that he is able to say yes madam and no madam to his own mother to begin with. In retrospect, he is also supposed to learn how to respect his elders. This means that he is supposed to respect those who are older than him. When it pertains to women, a boy or a man is supposed to stop whatever he is doing at the moment and go directly to women. This is a respect factor. By doing this a boy, girl, man, or another woman is supposed to pay attention to what she is saying to you.

Fourth, women deserve respect simply because they are emotional creatures just like men. It’s that men deny or in most cases refuse to acknowledge their personal feelings. Nor even recognize their sensitive side at times. There are times that disagreements might occur, but it is very important to learn to listen to both sides of any disagreement. The primary purpose of learning to talk, listen, and to understand women is to improve communication skills and to learn how to become active listeners in all situations.

Fifth, listening is very important because it is a key to communication. How come listening is a very important key to good communication skills? The answer is that when a message is relayed or an oral exchanged takes place, it’s very important to understand what is being said at all times. If someone is telling me something, I am supposed to listen with my ears the message and if necessary tell them what they have said; so that I can fully comprehend the message. I know in my case, I would write all of my notes on paper and clipboard so that I can fully understand what is being expressed to me personally.
Expression is the next because it takes a very good communicator to send a great message. When it comes to listening and communication skills, it is very important to eliminate all of the distractions that are in your way in order to understand what is being expressed. When it comes to women, men really need to turn the television off and look directly at women while they are speaking to them. Men and little boys are guilty at times of trying to tune women out. How come this happen on a daily basis, this is because men and boys tend to become obtuse and reluctant to listening at certain times at women. Men and boys usually think they are superior to their female counterparts.

Sixth, how do we really learn how to talk, listen, and understand women? The answer is by learning how to pay attention to what is right in front of you. At least mankind is supposed be allowed and be entitled to their freedom of speech. Listening is very easy for some and difficult for others. Why is this problem for others? This is because of the breakdown in communication that had taken place prior to full communication itself. This is caused by a lack of understanding of people as a member of the human race. Understanding others come from spending time with members of your own family.

This begins by understanding your own family dynamics as well as yourself as a person. Understanding of a woman is very easy. This starts off by acknowledging the person who had brought you into this world first. This is God and your own mother. When a man learns to respect his own mother, grandmother, aunt, or elders that are women, then he learns to respect women as a full member of the human race. When a man is around women, he is not supposed to use vulgarity and course language on a regular basis. When this happens, it breaks communications down and it makes things very difficult for men to relate well with women.
