Prayers for the lost
Pray for the Lost
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
Intercessory prayer in church must not be for other believers only, but also for unbelievers. Many attendees mistakenly consider themselves true Christians, and others are merely curious. Both are doomed for a Christless and hopeless eternity. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). There is still an opportunity to reach them, as the hymn “Brethren, We Have Met to Worship” reminds us.
Brethren, see poor sinners round you
Slumb’ring on the brink of woe;
Death is coming, hell is moving,
Can you bear to let them go?
See our fathers and our mothers
And our children sinking down;
Brethren, pray, and holy manna
Will be showered all around.
Our hearts should especially be broken for loved ones who face eternity without Christ as Savior. What can be done? Pray. God answers the prayer of His children. We are assured that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16).
What would this serving of manna be worth to you to see a wayward family member or neighbor repent of their sin and come back to fellowship with God? To see your fractured church healed of the disunity caused by wolves disguised as sheep? Surely this manna would be sweet indeed. Surely it is worth an hour of intercessory prayer.✝️

GOD CAN USE YOU!! Part 3.
God can use us when we go to Him prayerfully.
It would be really easy to to start whining and complaining to God about the immensity of the challenge of the Great Commission. “There are so many people…there’s so much to do…I’m tired…I want to have some fun…everybody will think I’m a “Jesus Freak”…I’ll be called a fanatic!” Rather than coming to the throne of the Father in gratitude for being used by Him to reach others, our attitudes often become self-centred and petulant. Jesus wants us to go to the throne…prayerfully!
We need to acknowledge that the Harvest is His! Christ is Lord of the Harvest (Matthew 9:38 a). We need to be thankful (Colossians 4:2). We need to be honest when we go to the throne…we should NEVER make excuses or cut ourselves slack (Psalm 145:18 ).
We need to give God thanks for all men (1 Timothy 2:1-2). We should be thankful that He wants to use us to share Christ’s Truth! We should be rejoicing that Christ wants to redeem the lost…and is using us! What an honour! What a responsibility! What a Sacred Trust!
Think about this for a moment. God has more at stake…more to “lose” than we do. What do I mean? If we do not share Christ with our family and friends, they will not accept Him and will condemn themselves for eternity. We have lost those few people. God loves all of His creation. In essence, He loses everyone that rejects Christ’s Saving Grace. How many BILLIONS of people have rejected His love and are suffering in hell even now? How many more will perish because of our apathy?
We should pray for more workers to help (Matthew 9:36b). However, while we are praying we should soldier on and continue spreading Christ’s love and Salvation. No matter how many labourers there may be, God promises that as we spread His Word, it will have effects and shall accomplish that which He pleases (Isaiah 55:11).
Almighty and Everliving God, please place Your urgency within my heart so that I will want to tell as many as possible of Christ. Lead me in the paths You have chosen and fill my mouth with Your words of life. I am Yours to use as You desire. To You be all the praise, honour and the glory now and forever. Amen
Proverbs 25:28 Commentary
Proverbs 25:28
Proverbs 25:28 says, “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” This verse is a warning against lacking self-control, which can expose a person to danger and temptation.
Proverbs 16:32 says, “Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”
In this verse, Solomon praises people who control their temper. He says that while it’s impressive to defeat others in battle, self-control is an even rarer gift
Do you have a struggle going on inside of you? A fight for control. Our willpower fails us repeatedly.
Self-control vs. Willpower
Self-control is not willpower. It is not something we get by gritting our teeth and forcing ourselves to just say no.
Self-control is called a fruit.
Fruit doesn’t instantly pop out on the tree. As the tree grows and seasons pass, the fruit naturally develops.
As we continue to follow God’s guidance. Taking one step at a time, our self-control will gradually grow.
Father, teach those who struggle with self-control the ability to check their emotions and give them to you. Help them to realize that obedience and unity are the key to peaceful life. In Jesus’ Name ~ Amen !!
Father, remove anxiety, depression and stress from our lives. Help us to live one day at a time and lay our burden about tomorrow at your feet. In Jesus’ Name ~ Amen !!
“…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
When doors close unexpectedly, it could mean God is guiding us away from mistakes or towards better paths, even if we can’t see it at the moment. Trusting in this guidance can help us find peace and new opportunities amidst uncertainty.
Exodus 14:14
Exodus 14:14

Good Day Everyone!! I want to inform all of you that Exodus 14:14 says the Lord will fight for you; you only need to be at peace. I am writing this essay because I am at peace with myself right now. I want to say that all of my family members love me, and there are those whom I have a problem with. I know that God is watching me every single day of the week. On the contrary, He is watching all of us.

Next, I want to say that God is a loving God. He is a good God. I am at peace with myself. Also, I want to say that my life has truly changed. I want to say that I love all of you. I am a peaceful person. I am the type of person who relate well with others. I know that my life has changed during the past 8 years now.

I am responsible for allowing God to fight all of my battles. I want to mention that Ephesians 6:12 says: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and against the rulers of darkness, and against spiritual host of wickedness inside of the heavenly places. I know that I have an extended family of members that are related to my family members. I am not at the liberty of mentioning their names, but these people are related to me in one way or another.
Finally, I want to inform all of you that I am allowing God to fight all of my battles. I really do not have to swing on anyone anymore. God is fighting all of my battles for me. I know that I have family members who are related to me, but we used to be enemies at one point in our lives. Right now, I am no longer fighting against another person anymore. I feel good about myself right now. Therefore, I am staying out of the way of other people. I am praying for everyone instead of fist fighting other people right now.

Matthew 10:36
Matthew 10:36
“…a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.”
Explanation and Commentary of Matthew 10:36
After explaining that he did not come to bring peace, but a sword, Jesus now says that a “man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.” Understandably, this can be confusing for many. After all, is Jesus not the Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6)? Did he not say, “Blessed are the peacemakers”
(Mt 5:9)? To be sure, Jesus’ death on the cross brought peace, first with God, and then with our fellow man. But here, Jesus is speaking in a completely different context.
Jesus was not as popular as one might have expected him to be in his life and his earthly ministry. He was, in fact, a rather polarizing person and proclaimed an even more polarizing message. To understand how the message of the already/not yet kingdom of God could be bad news for some, we have to remember that Jesus entered into the midst of a fallen and broken world, where many were given over to satan and were being somewhat rewarded for doing so by the prince of darkness. The evil one is content sometimes to wait until a person is in hell before he really begins to torture him. Otherwise, we might turn from him and to God in repentance. Those who are benefiting on earth from his reign will not only be resistant to Jesus, but also to his people. It is an absolute certainty that some will face this resistance from those in their own households.
Christians would do well to ask themselves if they are getting along too well with the world. We should be loving and forgiving, which are often qualities that are attractive to evening hardest hearts, but we should also be able to stand for truth in a culture that hates that truth. It is probably a sign this is exactly what is not happening if “all men love you” (Lk 6:26). All men did not love Jesus, and they will not love us either.
Breaking Down the Key Parts of Matthew 10:36
1 “…a man’s enemies…”
In one sense the Christian has no enemies because we are called to love our enemies. We may be their enemies, but they cease to be ours when we love and forgive them. But in this sense, Jesus means those who hate us and persecute us for following Jesus.
2 “…will be the members of his own household.”
This is tragic but true. It is purely the grace of God when all one’s household repents and loves Jesus, such as was the case with the Philippian jailer. Nevertheless, many are called, but few are chosen (Mt 22:14), so it should come as no surprise when some in our own household oppose us in our faith.

I have been deceptive since I was a child. I made a mistake by cutting my sister’s hair with a pair of scissors. I have done so much in my life that I am writing a book called The Life and Times of Anthony Joseph Hopkins. This is my autobiography. I am sharing with everyone my Life. I know that I have been abused as a child. I remember being verbally and physically abused by my stepfather. I have been deceptive when I was a child by stealing from my own mother. I even spent a lot of money on sex. I did spend three years inside of a Crack House in North Toledo, Ohio. At least I graduated from College. Even though I lived there and I was entertaining the women inside of the house. I was a fornicator for almost 30 years. I have not had sex in 12 years now. I have spent money as well as food stamps for sex.
Finally, I got myself into a lot of trouble by going to the Mental Health Facilities in Charlotte, NC and Dayton, Ohio. I have been inside of the Facilities for a total of 25 years now. I have been telling lies just to get locked up. To be honest with God and all of you, I became Institutionalized for 25 years now. I remember on Tuesday July 15, 1997, I spent a week inside of the Center for Behavior Health located on 501 Billingsley Road in Charlotte NC. I also spent 6 weeks inside of Broughton State Psychiatric Hospital for non compliance. I stayed in there for fighting the Staff at The Center for Behavior Health. I ended up getting into a fist fight with the police officer, who tried to put handcuffs on me.
In Conclusion, I got locked up again for non compliance at Summit Behavioral Health Center in Cincinnati Ohio. I got locked up on December 1, 2011. I stayed there for almost 3 months. To be honest with you, I don’t have any business inside of State Psychiatric Hospitals. My own behavior startled my family members. I need to make a deal with the Government; so that I can work with them, and pay my student loans. I owe the University of North Carolina at Charlotte a total of $28, 000 dollars in student loan debts. I really need to pay my bills for the month and throughout my life. The William & Fudge Collection Agency stated to me that I have to make 220 months of student loan payments. I also suffer from glaucoma, macular degeneration of the eyes, and diabetes. I have been honest with everyone who has helped me. I am a Christian Man, who has a lot of common sense.
