Describe One Habit that brings you joy.

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

Describe One Habit that brings you joy.  Whenever I am helping another person, it brings me joy.   Another thing that brings me joy is when I am using a computer or a typewriter, it brings me joy.  Also, what brings me joy is when I am online because I am doing God’s Work by sharing the Gospel of Peace with everyone worldwide.   If I am reading the Bible each day, it helps me to hear God’s Voice.

What are you curious about?

What are you curious about?

What are you curious about?  First, if you have God in your life: You are curious about one thing.  That is if you have been selected to join Him in Heaven.   However, I do have to prepare myself in advance.   This means that I will have to get my mind in the right frame of mind.  I have to start attending Church and read my Bible every single day of the week.  I will have to start praying, and to start being honest with God.   This also means that I have to stop using vulgarity completely.   I have to start participating in Church activities.   I will have to start praying for everyone worldwide on a daily basis.  I have to stay out of trouble.  I have to start becoming a God-Fearing Man.   I will have to become a role model and a mentor for children worldwide.   I might not have enough money.  I need to stop being selfish towards myself and other people.  I need a reality check right now.   I need to read the Bible, and do not be ashamed to do so.  Mom always wanted me to become more honest and truthful with God, Jesus Christ, and with my own neighbors.  I really need to learn how to treat women with respect.   I have to stop being so dogmatic and act like a mature adult man who has common sense.   I have to change myself physically and mentally right now.   I have been clean and sober for 34 years now.  I have been acting like a newcomer inside of an AA Meetings.   I have to start listening to other people with the intent of being their feelings.   I am very sorry to everyone including God and Jesus Christ for maintaining bad behavior.  I really have to stop arguing with other people because it will get me in trouble with God Himself.  I have to change behaviorally and mean it for myself.  I have to grow up like a real Christian Man.   I have to be more respectful and responsible for all of my actions.   I have to start listening to my elders and pay attention to what they are saying to me.   I am called only by God.   I have to start acting like a real Christian Man and a Child of the Most High God.   I need to start saving my money and start paying off my student loans and Tithes and Offerings to my Church.  My Church is Fort McKinley United Methodist Church located in Dayton, Ohio.   My Pastor and Therapist has been more than understanding with me.   I need to learn how to appreciate Jesus Christ, who is My personal Savior.   If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, I would not exist right now.   It is through God’s Grace and Mercy that I am still here today.   I have to learn how to accept constructive criticism from people who are making sense to me.   I truly appreciate Jesus Christ Love for me because He first loved me.   Lord Jesus please forgive me of my sins and transgressions and Iniquities right now.  Lord Jesus I am ready to join you in Heaven.   Lord Jesus, will you accept me as I am?  Lord Jesus, my love for You is very strong right now. If You will accept me, I am ready.  In Jesus Name I Pray 🙏 Amen and Amen 🙏 🙌 👏.   God Bless All of You.   I love all of you very much.

How Come There Are Issues Between Young and Old People?

How come there are issues between young and old people?

How come there are issues between young and older people? The answer lies in propaganda as well as what is going on television. Younger people are easily influenced by what is watched on what people are calling an idiot box. The idiot box itself is classified as a television. How come there are issues between young people and old has a lot to do with Bible prophesy.

Mark 13:8 says for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be earthquakes in divers’ places and there shall be famine and troubles these are the beginning of sorrows.

This is something that is going on right now between countries worldwide. This is a very serious because it has an adverse affect on the United States as well. However, in the 12th verse of Mark 13 it indicates that now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and father the son.

Children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death. This is something that is going on each and every single day. We are really living in between the end of times and the last days.

Also, when it comes to music that young people are listening to right now, parents are against it because it totally disrespects women of all races, cultures, and creeds. The music itself is demonic. It has a lot to do with Satan and his destructive schemes.

When it comes to issues between young and older people, it is a shame that our young people are not showing any respect to those who are older than they are. There is a sense of emotional numbness that young people are showing and demonstrating to other people.

Their peers on the other hand are not really interested in any of their emotional numbness and the behaviors that exist afterwards.

This is the reason why it states in the book of 1st Thessalonians 4:11th verse says and that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands as we commanded you. This means that we should continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ, as well as to be quiet and mine your own business.

It also means that we should continue to work with your own hands without accepting any handouts.

Next, younger people and their attitude have changed tremendously since 1980. The reason for this change is because parents have changed their attitudes when it comes to rearing their own children. Parents are calling their children their friends rather than their children themselves.

This is simply because the city, state, and federal government have intervened in the relationship between families. The government is telling parents how to raise their own children.

Parents are not allowed to punish their children as they wish. This is the reason why children are growing up without any sense of direction, guidance, understanding, and affection from their own parents. This is a subject that should be addressed by everyone who has children as well as those who do not have any children of their own.

Like they say, it takes a village to raise one child. This is true! In most cases, parents are not listening to their own children and addressing their needs.

When it comes to young people and older ones, it would be easy if we all can get along while we are living inside of a community.

I wrote about this topic because our young people do not have any respect for elders. They use a great deal of profanity and they are very apathetic. This has changed a lot since the 1980s.

Television has changed a lot of our attitudes and there are too many reality shows that pertain to the lives of others.

There is a reality television show that pertains to everything in our personal lives. I would not want anything that I am doing in my personal life to be on television. A lot of young people are watching reality shows rather than take out the garbage at home.

There are at least 2 billion people between the ages of 13-40 who would rather watch television all day long rather than do their homework from school or college.

The issue that I have with young people today is that; most of them do not have any respect for themselves or anyone else. What these young people do not know is that the world that we are living in is getting ready to come to an end.

Mark 13:37 says and what I say unto you, I say unto all watch. This means that we have to really watch and pay attention to what is going on all around us. We must get our lives right with God.

This is very serious because if the world comes to an end, at least a person would like to have their life right with God. The son of man is coming down from heaven and it is a very serious event.

As far as those who are older are concerned, we must continue to share the good news of God to everyone whether they are young or old. It is very important that we share about what God has done for us in our personal lives and make certain!!

Managing our Emotions

Does the Bible talk about managing our emotions?
The Bible tells us that we are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and also shows us that God has emotions. We have emotions because God does!

When we have emotions, it is because we are designed that way. Emotions in and of themselves are a good and useful thing. However, there are godly ways and ungodly ways to manage our emotions.

Take the emotion of anger, for example. We are shown that God has anger (Psalm 7:11; 1 Kings 11:9–10). We are shown that Jesus got angry (John 2:13–16; Mark 3:4–5). Anger is not wrong. But many times our anger results from selfishness, which is wrong. Other times, we mis-handle our anger. Rather than using our anger to alert us to a negative situation and then seek God’s wisdom in how to respond, we too often lash out in anger without thought. We let our anger control us, rather than managing our anger. James 1:20 says, “The anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” Ephesians 4:26 encourages, “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” We need to learn to manage emotions such as anger.

Sometimes our emotions are “false” in that they are the result of us believing something false. For example, we might be feeling despair because we fear we have failed God, forgetting that God is merciful and willing to forgive us all our sin if we will go to Him (1 John 1:8–9). Or perhaps we feel sad because we perceive we’ve been rejected by a friend, when in reality the friend truly had a previous obligation. Such emotions are natural, but they should not control us. Often it is wise to verify that particularly strong emotions are based on something that is true.

As Christians, we have the Holy Spirit to guide us and instruct us and remind us and help us become more like Christ (Romans 6; Ephesians 5:15–18). When we are aware of our emotions and aware of God’s work in our lives, we change and God is glorified. Rather than let our emotions guide our perception of truth, we let God transform our minds (Romans 12:2). We submit our emotions to Him, asking Him to help us learn what we should from them and appropriately manage them. We also stay grounded in God’s Word so that we know truth and can more easily recognize deceptions.

First Peter 5:6–10 says, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

This passage gives us many strategies for managing emotions: submit to God, express your concerns to God (Philippians 4:6–7), be sober-minded (Philippians 4:5; Ephesians 5:18; Romans 12:3), be alert regarding spiritual attack (Ephesians 6:10–18), recognize that you aren’t alone, understand God’s eternal plan and trust that He will work it all together for good in the end (Romans 5:1–5; 8:28; James 1:2–4).

A good resource for seeing God at work in people can be found in Psalms. Nearly every human emotion (positive and negative) can be found in Psalms. Yet, throughout the book, God is glorified. You can use the Psalms as a pattern for expressing your emotions to God and gaining His perspective.

Another gift God has presented us for our help and edification, even with our emotions, is one another. Jesus’ prayer for His followers is filled with His desire for Christians to love one another (John 17). We are also instructed to share our burdens, including our emotions, with one another (Romans 12; Galatians 6:1–10; 2 Corinthians 1:3–5; Hebrews 3:13) and be reminded of God’s goodness, long-suffering, and loving care for us.

Remember, our emotions do not define us, nor should they control us. Our value and worth is in God alone. God equips us to manage our emotions instead of being controlled by them. We need not fear emotion nor should we try to be emotionless, but we also shouldn’t be ruled by emotion. Instead, we are to be ruled by God. Enjoy emotion as part of His design of you, bring your emotions to Him, and trust Him to guide you (James 1:5; Proverbs 3:5–8).

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2).

Forms of THINKING

Idealistic Thinking vs. Pragmatic Thinking

This is a special essay that has a great deal to do with our way of thinking. For instance, does society itself have an influence on our way of thinking? A comparison and contrast between idealistic thinking will be emphasized. First, what does the word idealistic mean? An idea is a plan or action. It is also something that exists inside of the mind; which forms into thoughts or concepts.

However, idealism is a philosophical approach or system that when we look at ideas or ideologies, we have to examine our own personality as well as our own parents. When it pertains to politics, we have to explore our ideas and how they shape or influence our decision that pertains to family, culture, education, environment, health, and personal freedom.

Second, what does the word pragmatic mean? The word pragmatic means dealing with actual facts or occurrences. Of or related to the study of causes and effects. Could a person become dogmatic, obtuse, dictatorial, or meddlesome? The answer to this question is yes!!!!! Politicians who are in control for so many years tend to exercise their authority too much. I would like to say that there are members of Congress who tend to override their own authority!!!!!

Why is this the case? The answer is power!!! There is too much power among the richest members of the world’s population. Pragmatism has a whole lot to do with the exercising of authority. This authority overrides anyone else’s decisions and in some cases; causes others to feel unwanted or unsure of themselves.

This form of authority decreases the value of others by decreasing their self-worth.

Third, let’s look at this from a different perspective. Pragmatism is factual; however, there are differences in opinions when it pertains to other members of a specified population. When one feels like this, you are inside of a world all by yourself. Abstract thinking has a lot to do with the behaviors that we tend to possess as humans. It makes a big difference between actions vs. reaction.

This is also a difference between thinking outside of the box and an opinion that disrupts the moral conscious of others. Pragmatic to me is more of a macro perspective. A macro perspective is an expansion of a substance or an idea that develops into a large scale matter.

This also pertains to economics.

A macro perspective has a lot to do with people, policy, politics, and the expansion of opinions. Most people who exercise this approach tend to back themselves up with their actions. A very important question one might want to ask themselves is does my opinion really matter? Pragmatic thinkers are people who have a direct influence. These people are born leaders, but they also can become conceited or vain in their approach at times.

There are members of the Conservative and Republican Party who tend to exercise this approach when they are trying to make an impact on a specific group or members of a population. This also can affect anyone no matter who you are as a person.

We also have to explore other personal characteristics of pragmatic thinkers. There are times when certain people do not really understand others from their own personal perspective. It is like our society itself has become one that is apathetic in nature.

It is the person themselves that is responsible for making their own decisions for themselves and not others. Now, remind you that there are others who tend to portray themselves as one who possesses a great deal of influence when they do not.

Fourth, pragmatic thinkers I will admit have a preverbal chip on their shoulders. Pragmatic thinkers at times remind me of someone who tends to directly influence your behavior without being inside of your own presence. This is one who makes you really think with their use of propaganda.

This reminds you of how influential Adolph Hitler was on the people in his country during World War 2. Let’s look at this from a different perspective, in the United States; this is a country that is a democracy. However, it really makes you feel as if we are living inside of a socialist society. Are we really a democracy or a country filled with socialist ideas?

Finally, what is the definition of the word ideology? Ideology means a body of ideas that influence a person, group, ideas, or political party. Pragmatics on the other hand has a lot to do with mixed emotions that pertain to mixed beliefs. Some or all mixed beliefs tend to have a negative influence on others.

Idealistic thinkers are one who has many ideas, but when placing them into practice, who will believe you? The answer to this question is to work very hard in your efforts to change society by stating your opinions and making certain that it has a level of political correctness. Political correctness is expressing one’s own ideas by protecting yourselves from damaging the reputation of others.

Modern Involuntary ServitudeThis is a systematic explanation of an issue that of an issue that exist worldwide.  When it comes to modern day involuntary servitude, this has a whole lot to with the unfair treatment of individuals living in society.  Another explanation of modern involuntary servitude has a whole lot to do with individuals who are in the social system.  A social system consists of not only people inside of communities; it has a lot to do with basic institutions that exist inside of a country.  Involuntary servitude is slavery that exists within people of a certain class, authority, as well as those who have power over a community of people. Involuntary servitude in our society today has a whole lot to do with the unjust treatment of people.  This form of slavery goes against another person’s free will.  This means that a person does not have the same traditional rights and freedoms as other who congregate inside of society.  The definition of involuntary is something that is done unwillingly.  Servitude itself has been abolished in the United States since December 17, 1865.  Servitude is slavery or when one who is under the dominion of another.  How come something like this exists worldwide? It is displayed in certain ways. For example, when it comes to modern servitude, it is displayed when it comes to monitoring and watching the behavior of others.  This has a whole lot to do with class, power, influence, and dictatorship.  For instance, there is a form of dictatorship that exist even countries where democracy has been established.  Another example is when a member of law enforcement is illegally tracking an innocent person.  This is a complete deprivation of one’s rights in a modern society.  A very important question to ask when it comes to this subject is; how come people of power, authorities, or government have others in complete bondage?  This form of bondage exists in various ways.  For instance, if a person is released from prison, jail, or institutions they are more than likely to experience discrimination as well as racism.  This is also a way to keep a certain group of people in a situation of poverty and depression.  Another way is simply because of a demonstrated abnormal behavior that a person displays in society.  When it comes to certain groups of people who are released from an institution, they will have to be remanded to Probate Court.  Probate Court monitors individuals and their behavior on a daily basis.  This is a form of servitude.  The reason why is because these individuals will have to adhere to rules, guidelines, and regulations that are very burdensome.  It also deprives individuals of a way of life that is feasible for them.In countries worldwide, racism, discrimination, and oppression exists in a major way.  When people are stripped of their basis rights, it makes them feel extremely sad and estranged.  It is a shame that a people have to experience estrangement.  When it comes to this subject, everyone is entitled to the same freedoms and liberties as others who are living inside of the same society.  Servitude still exists and there are others who deny it. When a person experience it, they are more likely to be constrained even while living inside of their own communities.  It also make people feel censured, denied of certain resources, and definitely feel persecuted.  Modern involuntary servitude applies to those who are under the dominion or control of another.  It also applies to government as well as law enforcement.  It also means that a person does not have autonomy.  The definition of the word autonomy is self government and independence.  Institutions themselves control mass populations of people without their common knowledge or approval.  When it applies again to modern involuntary servitude, this also limits individuals in society from making advancements in their personal life.  They are also denied employment without a full explanation.  Anyone who is currently experiencing this right now feels completely helpless. The state, county, and federal government can have power and control over another person’s behavior.  This problem is a very serious one because there are those who are in the system; which means government and they are not able to get released.  The reason why is because they have the power and control to monitor and regulate the behavior of others.  There are those who are experiencing involuntary servitude and they are not fully aware of it.  Modern involuntary servitude is illegal.  It places limitations on the amount of freedom that a person can really have. For instance, a mental health patient who has been released from a psychiatric hospital can only participate in certain activities while they are living inside of their own communities.  It prevents an individual from entering into certain communities, or restricts them from affiliating with other people.
