What is the Difference between a Soul and The Holy Spirit?

 This is a comparison and contrast essay that is based on two definitions.  First, what is the definition of the word soul?  The definition of the word soul is an entity which is regarded as being the immortal or spiritual part of the person, and though having no physical or material reality, and is credited with the functions of thinking and willing; hence, determining all behavior.  Another definition of the word soul is the moral or emotional nature of a human being.

 Second, the definition of the word spirit will be emphasized right now.  A spirit is the life principle, especially in human beings; originally regarded as inherent in the breath or as infused by a deity.  Your soul is your mind and body.  Your soul also consists of emotions as well.  Everything comes from your spirit.  

 The definition of the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; specifically the third person of the Trinity.  The definition of the word Trinity is the condition of being three or threefold.  It is also a union of three divine persons.  God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit; in one Godhead.  Your soul tells you what to think, act, and feel.  It is greater than what I feel.  The word of God is very powerful.  What we think, want, and feel comes from the soul.  In reference to Satan, he will use your feelings to keep you away from God.  I would prefer to have someone who is committed to me.  Satan controls us emotionally.  He wants us to be independent of God’s Will.  Satan keeps us preoccupied by putting negative thoughts in our mind.  

 We are addicted to convenience.  The Christian must not be emotional.  Emotional means to be led by our feelings.  We have power over Satan.  Whenever he is attacking us; we do not have to act like him.  The word of God is powerful enough to penetrate through bone and marrow.  We have to understand the importance of living for the Lord.  Satan will use your feelings to keep you away from God.  There is a big difference between excitement and commitment.  

 We have to learn how to live beyond how we feel.  Satan wants to control us.  He wants is to be passive.  You are waiting to feel and use an outside force.  The first place Satan attacks is your mind.  The mind is the battlefield.  People have lots of problems with their mind. 

 Satan uses suffering.  He will also attack your body.  He wants to rule us.  We have a spirit.  We have intuition.  We have a body.  We have a mind.  We can have a messed up soul and mind at the same time.  We can never get our soul right.  Our soul tells us what we are feeling.

 We become addicted to convenience.  We have to control our emotions.  To feel emotional means that we are led by our feelings.  We are supposed to act like God.  Decisions control our emotions.  We need to hear from the Lord.  Love is not a feeling; it is an action.  No matter how we feel and treat people, we must put on love.  We must make a decision to put on love, mercy, and praise.

 We must set our minds for the Lord.  Never let Satan steal your joy.  There are times when we live by our emotions.  It is our responsibility to live within our means.  When you are led by emotions, we tend to do things excessively.  We also have to learn how to keep our commitments.  We do not want to do things that are based on emotions.  Never let your emotions give you trouble.  1st John 4:4 says Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. 

 Use your time wisely.  We must be obedient to God.  Discipline and Self Control are very important.  We must discipline our thoughts and our words.  Obedience is connected to how we love Jesus Christ.  We are supposed to be lights that are shining in a dark place.   

 Getting our way is not reality.  God is telling us to do for our convenience.  God tells us things to save us from a lifetime or agony and pain.  Sometimes it is not what we say; it is how you say it.  

 The mouth is the most difficult to control.  God, I want you to do things through me.  The tongue is a consuming fire. I am nothing without you Lord.  We have to humbly allow God to teach us.  Only a fool hates correction.  Satan will try to irritate you just to get your attention.  Complain means I remain.  Praise means to be raised.  

 We need self-control in our lives.  We have to allow God to control our emotions.  Believe in God and also believe in me.  Am I being obedient to God? If you let God be in the driver’s seat.  Always pray and then plan to work on the Holy Spirit, and allow the spirit to plan for you. God, I want you to lead me.  Always make a decision to be good to people.  We need to start praising God for His mercy and goodness.  Thank you for reading my essay.

Good Morning Everyone!!  I want to inform all of you that I suffer from Type 2 Diabetes Full Blown.  Therefore, I am in the advance stages of my disease.  I know that this is my first time taking metformin 500mg medication.  I know that this is not very easy to talk about because I am having nerve pain right now.  My family members and friends had informed me that it would get worse for me.

I’m having skin problems as well as stress that is very high at the moment.  I want to say that my health insurance did not approve me for the medication metformin.  I already know the side affects of taking metformin in advance.  I am the only one in my family members that are taking medicine for diabetes.  Of I die from this dreadful disease it would be all my fault.

I am being very honest about having diabetes because my family members and friends want to know exactly how I feel each day of the week.  I am very scared to die from the disease.  My family members are much more healthier than me.  I am the type of person who deals with my problems with the assistance from God.  Yes I will admit that I am going to need help from other people.

I know that everything that I am going through is inside of the Holy Bible.  I can receive God’s Help for a cure of the disease.  I have been crying since last week.  I guess it is too late to display my emotions.  Everyone else warned me in advance about the disease.  I have to accept it like a real man.  It is too late to punk out about something that I became aware of years ago.  This is all my fault for not listening to the people who have informed me in advance.

Finally, I have to man up and act like a real man.  The medication metformin is going to make my stomach hurts very bad.  I already have stomach ulcers and acid reflux disease that I have had since 1996.  My brother performed my surgery in the past 27 years ago.  I guess I was not taking better care of myself back then.  This is a thorn that is inside of my flesh right now.  I also suffer from grandmal seizures as well.  I suffer from Schizoid Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia.  I have to be honest with everyone about having a terminal illness right now.  I might as well cry myself to sleep for the rest of my life right now.  Please keep me and my family members and friends in your prayers and thoughts.  This is something that I am going to deal with for the rest of my life.  I have Type 2 Diabetes Full Blown right now.  This means that I am in the advance stages of the disease.

I am a 58 year old man who has a lot of common sense.  I am highly educated and I have changed my overall behavior for the better.  I guess that God does not want me to cry anymore.  I have to deal with something that should have been prevented years ago.  Where do I go from here?  This is a question that I have to ask myself every single day of the week.  I have to eat just to stay alive right now.

I have to talk with my psychiatrist about my new health problems.  Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts because I am in need of prayers and nothing else.

Good Morning Sir!  You are absolutely right.  I am going to focus on the positive; rather than dwelling on what is negative all of the time.   I do have a lot of resilience and you are right.  My friends constantly tell me that I am placing too much emphasis on capturing these people who have scammed me out of money.   Let’s focus on what is good inside of this world.   I am losing my memory and vision right now.   I cannot focus on negativity all the time.  You will have to help me to take my mind out of the gutter.   My mother used to tell me that I should have been setting boundaries with myself and everyone else.   Let’s focus on what is good for mankind.   I am dwelling too much about putting an end to oppression worldwide 🌐.   I need to allow God to resolve this issue for me.   Sir, I am very sorry for causing so much pain towards myself and other people.   I guess, I am placing too much emphasis on Justice for myself and other people who have been taking advantage of by hurtful people.   I only wish that God can resolve this problem for me.   Sir, I guess my pain is too strong for me to bear.  Please continue to pray for me because I am seeking Justice for the men, who have fell inside of the web of deception and the lures that this world has provided all of these years.  You see, oppression is a universal problem.   I really need your help and God’s Help as well.   However,  I have to learn how to literally forgive myself as a person.   God has already forgiven me; whereas some of my family members and friends have not forgiven me personally.  I have learned to let go, and let God deal with all of my problems.  Sometimes, people who hurt others have not learned how to forgive themselves.  Please forgive me for placing too much emphasis on Justice for the Oppressed and Afflicted WORLDWIDE 🌐 🙏.   I guess God is taking too long to handle all of my problems!  I cannot rush God nor tell Him what to do. Is It True That God Knows Our Steps?

This is a rhetorical question that I would like to ask everyone right now.  According to Job 34:21, it states as follows; for His eyes are on the ways of man, and he sees all of his steps.  This Bible verse proves that God orders our steps.  Frankly, God sees all things both good and bad when it comes to man.

Next, when it comes to Proverbs 16:9 it says a man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord direct his steps.  A man’s heart will not be like God.  Even man’s thoughts are not like God’s.  In Isaiah 55:8 says for my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways says the Lord.

Moreover, I would like to emphasize that I will have to pray and ask God for wisdom and discernment.  Additionally, I would like to say that in Jeremiah 10:23 says O Lord I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.  This means that God has a plan for all of us.  Man cannot do things without God’s approval.

Further, I want to inform everyone that the Lord is always with us.  The lord will never leave you or forsake you.  God sees all of my steps.  To be honest with all of you; God’s Son Jesus Christ is my personal Savior.  It is His son Jesus Christ, who is doing for me more than I am doing for myself.

The 9th Step Promises says as follows: If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through.  We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness.  We will not regret the past, nor wish to shut the door on it.  We will comprehend the word serenity, and we will know peace.  No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others.  That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear.

We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows.  Self-seeking will slip away.  Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change.  Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us.  We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us; more than we are doing for ourselves.  Are these extravagant promises?  We think not.  They are being fulfilled among us sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.  They will always materialize if we work for them (Alcoholics Anonymous 4th Edition Pages 83&84).The reason why I put this inside of my essay is because I am working on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.  I thank the Lord each and every single day for allowing me to wake up in the morning to breathe His breath of life, and use my five senses, and to move my extremities.  Dear Lord, I thank you for allowing me to attend Bible Study each week, and to resolve all of my active issues.  I am thrilled to be a Child of the Most High God.  I thank God and His Son Jesus Christ for keeping me alive, and to help me to stay strong.
