Have you ever wrestled with Satan in the same way that the Man of God Wrestled with Jacob?

       I have a very important question to ask everyone right now.  Have you ever wrestled with Satan in the same way that Jacob wrestled with the Man of God?  I am asking this question because I had a flashback recently.  It happened in 1974 when I got into a fist fight with a 15-year-old boy.  We got into a fist fight over a black fisted pick that people used to comb their hair.  I fought this boy because he threatened my manhood over something that he could have purchased for himself. 

       Next, I fought with this boy because he threatened me with violence.  I might have been younger, but that poor brother was limping after I got finished with him.  He got away on his bike.  I want to inform all of you that this boy was 6 years older than me.  I want to say that I might not have wrestled with God, but this high school student got beat up by a 4^th grade student.  This is my first time mentioning this situation that happened 48 years ago.

       Further, I want to inform all of you that was my Satan at the time because this boy was stupid to fight an elementary student.  You see, one thing that I did at that time was kick another boy in his breadbasket because he was a boy who underestimated a 4^th grader.  At that time, I was living at 1119 West Third Street in Dayton, Ohio 45402.

 I remember it because my mother lived close to 4 Aces Bar.  I recall this event because my mother purchased this fisted pick for me.  Jacob literally wrestled with God.

   Moreover, I had the flashback because I was under a lot of stress.  I recall that during the 1970s; I got chased home by dogs and people.  I guess I was intimidated to live with my mother.  I really did not like fist fighting with anyone.  I might have fought and wrestled with a high school student.

 The 15-year-old boy got killed 30 years later.  He broke into a house and the owner shot and killed him. 

       In Addition, I want to say that Satan is capable of attacking your mind, and get you to do things that you would not normally do.  It is true that Satan utilizes stumbling blocks to hinder your progress.  I want to say that I remember getting chased home from school by boys and girls.  I got into a fist fight with a girl when I was in the 5^th grade.  I started the fight with the girl by calling her out of her name.

       Also, I want to inform all of you that my own sister used to beat me up.  I guess I did not have any business fighting girls.  Right now, people do not fight with their hands anymore.  They would rather shoot you just to get you out of the way.

  According to Genesis 32:23-32; The Man of God blessed Jacob because he wrestled with man and God and prevailed.  Jacob got blessed in the end; even though his hip was out of socket.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

²⁵ And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

²⁶ And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

²⁷ And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

²⁸ And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

²⁹ And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

³² Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew that shrank.

       Finally, I am writing this because Satan is capable of wrestling with you as well.  I am writing this essay because I only want everyone to know that we have to be very careful when it comes to Satan because; According to 2^nd Corinthians 11:14, it says that Satan masquerades as an Angel of Light.  An ending to this type of blog will be to allow all of you to come to your conclusions about real life situations.  I love all of you very much.  I would like for all of you to please be watchful and careful at the same time.  I am writing just to cope with a mental illness.  Writing is therapy for me.

Steps ordered by God

        Is it true that our steps are ordered by God?  This is a very good question.  The reason why I am asking this question is simply because I am curious.  The following Bible verses will be discussed: Jeremiah 10:23, Proverbs 20:24, Job 34:21, and Job 31:4.  First, I would like to emphasize that God does order our steps.  According to Jeremiah 10:23 says O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.  This means that it is a Power that is greater than ourselves that is actually helping us.

 Second, in the Book of Proverbs in the 20^th Chapter and the 24^th verse which states that man’s goings are of the Lord, how can a man understand his own way?  This Bible verse is a little bit different.  A man’s goings are the steps that are ordered by God.  How can a man understand his own way?  This is a very good question.  God is solely responsible for telling us what to do.  God is still doing for all of us more than we are doing for ourselves.

        Next, I want to inform all of you that God is in charge of all of our decisions.  I want to mention that God does give man a free will.  With this free will, it is a choice that God gives us to do according to the Will of God, or else, we are going to perish. I want to do what God tells me to.  I know that I have made some bad decisions in my personal life.  I also want to say that God makes decisions for us, even though, we have failed as a human being at times. 

        Third, I would like to talk about the Book of Job.  In Job 34:21 says; For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all of his goings.  This means that God is watching all of us very carefully.  He counts our steps each day of our lives.  The word goings mean steps in the Bible.  This means that there is someone who is giving us instructions while we are living on earth.  God even knows exactly how long we are going to live on earth. 

Fourth, God knows all of our ways and He also counts every step that we make in our lives.  Job 31:4 says; Doth not He sees my ways, and count all of my steps?  The answer to this question is yes.  The word doth means Does in the Bible.  I want to inform all of you that it is God who knows all things about mankind.  To be honest with all of you, while we are sleeping inside of our beds at night, God opens the ears of man and sealeth their instruction.  This is in Job 33:14-16.

        Fifth and Finally, I want to inform all of you that God speaks to all of us while we are sleeping.  He gives us our daily instructions.  In Summary, God gives us life.  The breath that we breathe each day does not belong to us anyway.  God counts all of our steps in our lives.  Everything that I have typed is the truth.  The Bible backs up everything I have been sharing today.  God Bless All of You!!!  Please have a blessed day!
